I literally spend hundreds here every month, but not anymore. On Thursday night the seventh I was rudely rushed out of the store 30 minutes prior to closing so they can clean the floors with no prior signs or notice. Harassed up and down every aisle until I was pushed to check out as fast as I possibly could Then yelled at because I missed something on the stupid u scan but was not allowed to buy it?? Some words I’m not proud of were exchanged with a middle-aged Asian worker who honestly is not right for customer service, horrible at his job, and needs a new profession. I wanted to apologize for being rude, except for his attitude just kept getting worse, uncalled for. The other gentleman working was pushy but not rude. I miss the old night cashiers, the young guy especially! He was always so kind and cheery no matter how late it was. I work evenings/nights so to be able to grab food for my kids lunches and dinner for my family when I got off work late at the only place open in town was nice But after I was told to “get a job“ by the rude Asian staff member I will be spending my hard earned money anywhere he is not. Happy holidays. Not.

Want an established 24/7 Grocery Store in your community that refuses to be anything it promised?So nice they cut the 24 hours a day for the pandemic, and are now just refusing to stay open.I actively avoid this store now due to it's greedy capitalist ideals. Only open during the hours profit is most viable? I'll spend my money elsewhere!

Very friendly, they have a good deli and a great selection of teas.The fellow at the butcher shop was super helpful and guided me to buy local pepper bacon from Ferndale, WA, which I loved.

It's a Safeway, pretty much like all of them, I will say that they need to get better mystery shoppers cause there's are SOOOO obvious..But other than that it's just a Safeway, nothing special about it...

I went to put $20.00 of fuel in my truck, and the pump held $60.00 out of my card. I had $80.00 in my account. I went in and didn’t realize that this had happened, grocery shopped for roughly $60.00 worth of groceries for 20-30 minutes and then realized there was no money left in my card at check out. This feature is completely unnecessary and should be removed. I’m never buying fuel from Safeway with or without my card EVER again because of this feature. Good grief.

Personally I don't understand all the bad reviews, I went to the store and was happily greeted. It was my first time at this location and I didn't know where were the snacks such as cheez-it's. I walked up to an employee I think her name was Mikayla and she took me to the exact location I was looking for I am very grateful I would shop here again.

Safeway is consistently clean and well-stocked. The checkers are friendly. I can find most anything I want there. Highly recommend!

Great curbside delivery. Disappointed that websites indicated they sell dry ice when they don't. Staff told me they haven't sold it for 14 years and couldn't tell me a location where to buy it. Always kinda sketchy with the street people who hang around but that would be a City issue.

Most convenient of the several groceries in the area....and reasonibly priced. But they are reconfiguring it's ailses - they had several half length - but no longer, guess they are trying to keep up with Walmart and ????A good variety of other businesses are nearby.Good Transit access, Skat 205 & 208.But it is at a very busy crossroad in the county, so traffic can be a challenge.

I live in my car. Which got broken into in Renton wne they took everything I own. Even my wife’s ashes. I work but I lost everything so I have no money till payday. I haven’t eaten in days. Prob four days now. So I went in and grabbed a plate of their Chinese food right before they throw it away. Cause they toss it who is going to care right. Well this diuchebag little rich kid sure did. He ran me down and stopped me. Putting his hands on me to stop me. Over a plate of food. Technically I never even walked out the door. Disgusting men’s bathroom. Used toilet tissue everywhere in stall. Work gloves, empty water bottle, and a VW emblem from a car all in toilet stall. Toilet looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a week and it was bad. No soap. Changing table broken.6:30 a.m.

Nice place to pick up roses for friends and also has a Starbucks & self-checkout. As per photo, the roses are still holding up well 3 days later.

Stopped by today for some last minute 4th of July shopping at my local Safeway, and I must say that whereas Safeway is usually dependable in its selection (for the most part) its customer service experience can be hit or miss- until this visit of course. I am expecting a large gathering for the holiday so I had a full cart of groceries, and while checking out at the stand I noticed the bagger "Adrian" (per her name tag) was so attentive and helpful she helped me with checking out at such a stellar pace and with a smile. I felt bad so I tried helping her bag but, she assured me that she wanted to make sure my customer service experience was perfect- and it was. If this is the direction that the Safeway team is headed then I will be a customer for LIFE. Thank you for the hard work and smile "Adrian"!

I wish I could say good things. I can't, been here several times, in the early afternoon, no one in the bakery. Had to go get a manager to get help. The parking is horrid, homeless and crackhead roaming to steal your things. Getting in and out of the lot is not great either. Good luck if you come here, you'll need it.

Always a clean store with many choices of whatever you need. Friendly and helpful staff. Great place for a quick lunch with lots of choices of hot foods and sandwiches. I usually visit this Safeway whenever I make a trip to Mt. Vernon. Then I fill up my gas tank at their gas station using my Safeway rewards for a discounted per gallon price on gas. I love their rewards program, especially for a discount on the too high gas prices these days.

A month ago, I would rate 4 stars. They replaced their nighttime staff. Every night i go to safeway i am encountered by an employee BARRY. BARRY'S lack of customer service skills, lack of good personal hygiene and and his insistence on causing conflict with customers has turned the pleasant inviting energy into a place I would rather avoid at all costs.i refuse to be treated this way. Today he insisted on enclosing 10 minutes early because he wanted to leave early. This wouldn't be a problem but, His bad attitude and lack of respect has not only cost Safeway me as a customer, many other customers agree and will be shopping elsewhere.SAFEWAY. PLEASE CONTROL YOUR EMPLOYEE'S THE DISRESPECT.

This one star is not for the whole store.This is for the checker named Debbie. Acts like she needs to retire.Very rude and shouldn't be in customer service.My husband went through her line and she was stacking heavy items on top of the bananas. He told her he would pay for another bag. She said she couldnt, they don't let us. We pay for bags!! What????It was pure laziness on her part.Came home with bruised bananas. Also smashed his sandwich in another bag.I've gone through her line before and had similar interactions.

This is the place to shop. They are the nicest people I have ever know. When they didn't see me in they asked my husband,hey where's Julie is she ok. They care about you as a person. Love this store and Kim Lee keeps it fun.

Plenty of cashiers working when I was there. That was the best thing for me and I was able to get through quickly!! Nobody wants to stand in a long grocery checkout line. Safeway, keep the line moving and we the people shall shop happily 😊

We had to go late for some groceries, I was so happy Safeway was still open. I was building fruit gift baskets, and they always have fresh fruit, a nice variety of cheeses, chocolate, and the like. I even found a few extra items that were in sale.

After work went to Safeway to get some wine and a couple other things. Went to the self checkout. I asked the cashier where the gum was. She stated there isn't any in this area, you have to go the the other cash registers. I guess I was suppose to leave everything and go get it! The light started flashing for the cashier to come over due to the wine. I waited, and waited as she was talking to others that were NOT in that area. I approached her and asked her if she would help me. She stated I'm not on duty. I said can you fine someone for me. She yelled down the lane and got the attention of a person dressed as a clown. She comes over, doesn't smile, doesn't say anything. Wonderful customer service!

My experience today at Safeway wasn't great at all!Bought food from the deli and this guy that helped me was kind of rude and arrogant.I asked for better customer service, his response was "I disagree with that" apparently he's been at Safeway for many years been employee of the month twice.He says "anything else" a lot before you even think, avoids eye contact and does not smile at all.

Good store, nice friendly employees and the manager seems to have a great sense of customer service. Some things are a bit under the curve such as the night crew will not move from in front of the shelves when you are in the store shopping, and and like most Safeways isles are too small and become crowded easily. But I give it a solid 80% satisfaction clean fresh and friendly!!!
