Nice place for a beer and to sit in the sun. Really nice inside with some nice seating even better if you sit outside on a sunny day. They have a great selection of beers and some seasonal favourites. Not one beer ever disappointes and they even have some nice bar snacks if you did not being anything to eat.

Stopped in on the way back from Surrey, BC. Off the highway but worth the stop. Very clean facility and equipment. Small inside taproom and no kitchen. Small additional inside seating but large outdoor area. Does have TV sports. What it lacks in space is made for with the types and quality of the beers. Had the 101 Bourbon Barrel Imperial IPA at 10.1% and Stouticus Maximus at 8.5%. Also had a designated driver! Both were fantastic even though very different beers. I've had bourbon barrel beers before but never in an IPA and can honestly say it is better this way. North Sound hits the spot with a lot of different taps. Need to go back to run through the rest. Great beer and friendly atmosphere make this a fun place to go to. You can get a free taste of any of the beers they have on tap. Don't be fooled by those garage doors; it's a very cozy room behind those with a fireplace and heaters!

This place uses tap water with out removing the bleach chlorine from the water it's in the beer you are drinking but if you love ❤️ chlorine bleach go for it it's good 👍

North Sound is a great place to stop in after a day of working in the yard or on your way home from the antique stores in La Conner. We own a nearby farm and work on the place on weekends. Sarah is so great at making it feel like a neighborhood place, but also has great knowledge of the regional brews from all over the NW. My 83 year old dad is a regular and she always greets him by name and makes him feel like a VIP.

I rarely leave unfavorable reviews, but I gave this place 3 tries in 6 months, hoping each time, perhaps the last time was just an "off" day. I give it 2 stars because it is a nice, clean place.I don't know exactly how to define my experience here, other than to say it is "less than welcoming" to put it mildly. Walking in, I'd swear I just walked into some super exclusive, members only club, because people stop talking and STARE at you. When you go up to the counter, the bartender will serve as many people as possible before getting to my order.On our last visit in, one of the people who thought they were being discrete actually said out loud "did they break down?" when we walked in. We were wearing nice jeans, hawaii shirts and arrived in a 4 year old mercedes, so I'm not clear about the reference - but this is the same kind of weird, antisocial feel I've experienced the other two times I've been here. I travel a lot and go to a lot of bars, so I know what is normal and what is not. This isn't.This seems like it could be a cool place, but like so many northwesty things, the people often times ruin it.

The lady pouring was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The beer is really quite amazing. I've always liked them since they've been around. I don't get down there very often , but I put some of their beers very high on the list of great. Food truck, snacks, grass, and a TV if you want that at a brewery. Small town, big beer. I will always go there when the opportunity knocks.

Overall meh. It’s noticeable there’s some money in this place, but the beer quality is mediocre. The brown ale was decent, but the nitro scotch ale was thin and watery. Other selections weren’t breaking any new ground, just the usual safe options. Space isn’t all that big and it’s clearly apparent that a certain kind of local customer maintains this place as a clubhouse. There are way better beer destinations in the greater area.

Amazing beer selection and a wall of awards to prove it. accommodating staff and great beer. This place is very laid back and very welcoming. Very clean, definitely recommend as a must stop for anyone going through town! Would be here every week if We lived closer. Wish they would come out with some new merch!

If you just had a baby and are looking for a place to go out and have a beer finally, do not go here. “Minors” are not allowed on the property. Tons of other breweries however do allow infants and will include changing tables in the restrooms.

Perfect place to grab a beer. Inside has good ambience and during the Summer the outside seating is relaxing. And it doesn't hurt that they happen to have the best IPA around. The Hopsoliscious is the benchmark IPA for us, and we compare it to every new ipa we run into.

Very nice little brewery. The staff were exceptional and the place is dog friendly. Unfortunately none of the beers were really for us but we still enjoyed our stop! Would definitely recommend!

Great offerings.Quaint in the winter and rainy days, but then the sunny days and warm weather - the patio stretches out.Either way the weather is, always a great atmosphere. Beers tend to be hoppy, and most breweries in the PNW are. The Stout was awesome. Heffeweisen was a close second for me....Salud!
