Road trip? STOP HERE… Mt. Vernon is a small town “recipe” of Eastern Washington’s charm & sensibilities layered with a dash of urban services and convenience, topped with just enough city chic to amaze. To wit, this grocery store is the “cherry on the top” & the BEST grocery store I’ve ever patronized! Truly fantastic! From the moment you arrive at the entrance you can see the meticulous care taken with the outdoor merchandising (red truck & watermelons, yes please 😊). To the abundance of impressive floral choices, you know you’ve arrived. The deli selection is superior & everything is well-stocked and freshest quality possible. (Super kind deli staff.) The wide array of gourmet flat bread pizzas, sandwiches & delicious salads is almost intoxicating. The bakery choices are stunning. (The prices are commensurate with Miami area & much lower quality products.) The interior of the store is pristine… I’m actually a little relieved I live across the country or this type of regular selection would inevitably make me very “fluffy” indeed. We tried 4 different pizza & flatbread combos & 4 different salads, all were excellent. (I will find those deli & bakery pictures later, promise, irresistible.) The manager running this operation deserves a raise; supermarket perfection! ♥️♥️♥️ (And maybe they could advise on the Barkley store because this location makes Barkley look very, very downtrodden comparatively.)

I stopped by here because I wanted to go to the bathroom on the way to Mount Vernon. The inside of the store was very clean and all the staff kindly called out to me.I was impressed with the bakery area. There is a wide variety of donuts, pastries, bagels, cookies and cakes. After all, I bought 10 donuts and beers.If you come to the bakery area, you may buy donuts like I do.If you are on a diet, it will be a dangerous place.There are plenty of deli sandwiches, salads and sushi...etc. I was surprised at the variety of things. I think it's a good idea to stop by for lunch or dinner and take it home.I took a quick look inside the store, I was impressed with the high quality assortment.I would like to stop by again.

We use Hagen for there floral department often. Mainly due to the fact that the floral staff is amazing. A great big shout out to Patricia and Kim keep up the great work thank you so much.

This is one of the better grocery stores in the Mount Vernon area (in my opinion).It’s a little more pricey than Safeway or Freddie’s, but worth it for the bakery, meats, and produce.They have a decent bakery selection, the cookies are super good for store bought.

Spendy but oh so worth it when you can. Their pecan pie WAY outdoes Costco. And I have never been able to say that anywhere else. Haggen has amazing selections in almost every aisle. And they support the local food bank.

Mt Vernon has the nicest Haggen that I have ever been in. Above average deli and bakery. Nice meat case. The prices reflect the quality.

Friendly personnel. Love the variety of ready to eat foods. It's tempting to buy a weeks worth of meals there but do head to fresh veggies, fruits and butcher friendly meat department!

I was able to get a Thanksgiving dinner for me and my elderly father for under $50. The staff was extremely helpful in helping me find everything that I needed. Will definitely be going back.

This is my FAVORITE place to come for produce! It's always fresh and stocked well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was an encounter I had with one of the employees (I believe his name was David or Dave). I needed help and he seemed irritated that I would be asking questions. He was very short and curt with me. I've had some other amazing customer service interactions with various other employees, so I'm not sure what his problem is, but he shouldn't be in a customer-facing role at your store. It gives it a bad look and I know you work hard to give the best customer service. I hope you take this to heart from one of your loyal customers.

I had rated it higher but recently the prices have gotten outrageous and the customer service is insulting. There's even one store manager that is very rude right to your face and acuses people with nothing to go on.

Opens up very early and has lots of free parking. Local Haggen store makes it easier for seniors to buy groceries from a real person. Mega store down the road is too big to find anything. Has only robotic check out. Haggen is much more helpful and better.

Like my son says, 'We are so lucky to have Haggen. Haggen has everything". Haggen has baked goods, ready to eat meals, sushi, paninis, pizzas, chicken, Jo Jos, rotisserie chicken, and beautifully displayed produce and other groceries.

My favorite place to shop! It's always a treat. I feel very special shopping here. The staff are kind, the store sparkles, and I can always find what I'm looking for. They are also inclusive of people with disabilities in their hiring which, in and of itself, deserves five stars. The other day I had to fill four very expensive medications for my dog. The pharmacist entered a code to help me on the pricing for these outrageously expensive tiny bottles of eye drops. THANK YOU! I am so grateful. My lucky day for sure.

Too expensive. Burlington Haggens has way better bakery, especially the donuts. Not great customer servive. Deli not good. Chinese food deli hqd no food again. Yet 3 guys behind counter on a Saturday at 2:30pm.

It really ticks me off when you cannot even manage to carry apple turnovers. If you are going to carry it why dont you make sure you have enough to sell. Both stores are out but theres 40 raspberry left. Common sense says make more apple. I cant even have a nice fritter for my friends bday with her. You only had 2 sat. At 11am. None on sunday at 6pm? But I watched them put 10 more cruddy rasp. In there.

I love everything about Haggen. I love the choices that they have like everything is organic and like just delicious. The deli salad bar and sandwich section is what makes this place awesome in my opinion I love the choices and everything is super fresh and just great quality and it's hard to find a good salad bar!! Since covid they're like impossible to find but not at haggen!! They just have a variety of things that are hard to find any other place; from the chocolates to the bulk foods, yeah you heard me, to the wine to the bakery it's all good. 😁

Store is very clean and organized. They offer a large variety of produce and its always so fresh. They have a deli and bakery section that are absolutely the best. Staff is helpful and friendly. This is my go to store for my groceries.

It's a Haggen! I'm not sure what to say other than it's a very well put together grocer. The deli provides really quality good, so there's always something good to pick up for dinner or a quick bite to eat, and the sit down area is comfortable and usually pretty pleasant. Service has always been really nice, too, haven't had any bad experiences go. I don't have super high expectations of a grocery store, but for what it's worth, Haggen is a good one!
