I want to preface this review by stating that I have been reluctant to post, but the more time I have had to think on it - the worse I felt. We trusted Tina with our fur babies and now our trust is broken. I do not think we will trust anyone with our dogs ever again. We have been boarding our dogs here for a few years now for one weekend in the fall and have never had any complaints before. The facility is clean, our dogs always whole - if not a little home sick by the time we pick them up. Tina has always seemed a little off, but I chalked it up to social anxiety. As someone who I thought works with animals all day, she probably prefers their company over people. I wouldn’t blame her for it.This year we had a spring event that we needed to board the dogs for and because of the time of year, my lab has been shedding - as labs do. I asked Tina to groom him and bathe both dogs. In my eyes, they were having a little doggy spa weekend. Come time to pick up my boys, Tina informs me that there was an “incident” with my lab where she had “yelled” at the dog in the next kennel over and this caused my lab to become fearful of her. Because of this she stated that he was “nipping at the brush” and was not able to finish grooming him. I found this peculiar but not outright alarming - as my lab has never been groomed before and perhaps he just did not care for it.My lab was very sleepy on the car ride home, and when we got home he was acting very strange - really cagey and anxious. His whole body was tense and his legs were just shaking uncontrollably. At first I thought he was just overstimulated from the other dogs at the kennel and just needed to readjust to being home. Since he was still massively shedding, I went to brush him and he immediately shied away from me and tried biting the brush out of my hand. He has never done this before. He is extremely laid back. My toddler and twins are constantly hanging all over him and he just sits there and soaks it all in. He is a stereotypical omega black lab! After examining him closer my husband found that his entire back from neck to tail was cut open and bleeding with large clumps of dried blood and hair. When you touched him in these areas he would yelp and cry like someone had kicked him. The vet was already closed by this time so I called the next day to get him in as soon as I could for an evaluation. The vet confirmed that he was badly torn up, and showed me the worst spots where he was still actively bleeding. He prescribed antibiotics as well as an anti inflammatory for his discomfort. To me, his injuries seem consistent with overly aggressive grooming. It would also explain why he would bite at a brush when he has never done so before.I debated talking this over with Tina before I posted the review but decided not to. She had the opportunity to tell me the truth of the matter but chose to lie to my face about it - after years of being customers of hers. I even tipped her on top of it, so for her to not reject it and take it anyway just tells me that this person does not care about your animals. I feel sick to my stomach that someone hurt my dog this way and that he’ll never be the same for it. She advertises dog grooming but doesn’t know how to brush a dog without turning them into mince meat? Save yourself the grief. Do not take your pets here.

I needed to leave my 13 to lab for 5 days while away. Was concerned he would be comfortable during high heat summertime so really appreciated the indoor /outdoor arrangement with misters. Tina listened to my concerns about his 2 health issues and made me feel comfortable leaving him for the long weekend. She was great!

I would never take my dogs to this place now that Tina has taken over ownership. The original owner put a lot of $$ into this place to design and build "Apartments" for dog boarding and an area for grooming. The place looks great, however when the lease came up for renewal Tina went behind the owner's back and offered the landlord more $$. The landlord went to the original owner and gave her the new rate and she couldn't afford it, so she lost it to Tina. That shows Tina's character and morals. This shows how her "Loving Care" works: I was told that she was in the middle of grooming a dog and had the noose(?) around the dogs head to keep him still while working on his face. The phone rang so she left the dog unattended and he jumped off the table and hung himself. Her phone call must have lasted quite awhile as there was no saving the dog once she came back and found him.So, while the place looks fabulous for boarding, Tina can take no credit for that. I would never take my dog there - EVER.If I could give her a zero or worse I absolutely would.

Will be the last time l go. Tina's a very poor operator. Set an appointment up 6 weeks back for both dog when entering wheres the shot records oh l forgot ld wished you'd had call, not my job. Then told me to return at noon l got there at 12:10pm let me set in the parking lot for 40 minutes with the sun at high noon 96 degrees with another dog in the car. Then my dr. Called to tell me know l had a blood clot in my leg and report to the emergency room asap. 40 minutes waiting to get my dog. I called her 3 time pleading to give me dog finish or not l had made my mind up that l'd never go back when l left after dropping Buddy off in the morning she rude and very bossy. To tacky for me. Everyone is screwing her you know. Additude.
