Prices are a little more than walmart and safeway but the cashiers make up for that. I've been shopping here off and on, switching between them and safeway and I have always enjoyed the cashiers and their amazing attitudes. My wife was short $5 and the cashier offered to pay, but she used the credit card instead. Point is, exceptional customer service for sure. Keep up the good work and old school feel and we'll keep coming there for years to come.

For a grocery store they have much more than just groceries there is a large selection of various items so that's nice the employees are always so nice so I hate to say it but as far as someone stating., "The prices there are same as the prices in town"., You have got to be kidding me, not even close it's very expensive.I guess because they are the only grocery store in Montesano.My suggestion? Unless you just need a few things go to town it's worth the time and the gas.

They overprice their product because they know they're the only grocery store in their area. It's pretty gross you want people to starve over profit. You get three stars because you have awesome staff and things are pretty organized because of your staff.

5 stars are based on the friendliness of staff, the upgraded coolers, and overall cleanliness of the store ONLY.$$$ As far as prices go, they're considerably higher than most other places, except for the one in Elma, ingeneral the Elma store seems higher, so I drive to Monte instead.

I asked a clerk named Cory if the business came about any dead mice or rats recently, responded with a negative, i skin and tan dead rats and mice. I moved to montesano 2 years ago and this thrift way is the only place in town to buy groceries. fair prices. decent and helpful employees. I desire rat and mice skins. fortunately, their lack of infestation troubles means store is rodent and pest free. shop and love without worry.

I found what I needed here at a reasonable price. The grocery check out counters are not long enough. But other than that I like this local grocery store.I found a beautiful touch of spring in the outdoor garden center.

Very nice grocery store. Nice clerks.One would think though, with being the "only" grocery story in town that they would have some souvenirs. My family has lived in Montesano for a long time. My mom graduated from Monte High in 1968. Grandparents lived there. I'm out of state and now many have passed, I don't make it up North that often. I'd like to grab a souvenir when I am. Like last month. Would have meant the world to me for a special reason. Carry post cards, stickers, key chains...quite frankly anything.But you have Nothing.

I usually have a very positive experience shopping here. Today was a different story. Not only were we not acknowledged or looked at while waiting to pay, we were not thanked for spending our hard earned money while receiving our receipt. Even after being polite and thanking the young man we still did not get a thank you. Good customer service goes a long way. It takes "0" effort to smile and say thank you to the people who are spending their money in your store.

Great local store, always clean and friendly service. Has a great selection. The only downside is prices are a little higher for several items. But you can't beat the hometown feel, so much nicer to go to than in Aberdeen.When there are sales, they are very good, just have to watch for them. Also, great options in the meat department, again just need to watch for deals. Good rewards program as well.

This place is overpriced and the only grocery store in montesano which is a little town in Grays Harbor It is a complete highway robbery to have to go here to buy anything it's like marked up at least an extra $1.50 or $2 over any other high-priced grocery store that I've been to it's like a whole grocery store full of ma and Pa priced items ugh

This place is a little pricey yes I still pop in to buy things occasionally if I forgot something in my normal shopping and such. The workers have all been very polite and helpful though

Ridiculously high prices especially on their produce. I understand prices have increased but these guys are selling stuff 3-4 times more expensive then similar grocers.I mean nobody wants to shop at Walmart/Safeway but these guys make it easy.

Don't normally go here. I was over at The Fishing Hole for breakfast with friends. I know this Thriftway is larger and well stocked. Thought I'd stop in and pick up fresh veggies for lunch. In and out. This is a good store.

Stopped here in desperate need of a restroom. Friendly employees gave me directions to it in the back and it was cleaner and better than my local Safeway at home. Thank you for saving me!

I have been in and out of this store 42 years. It is a great little grocery plus more store that has been serving the community faithfully for a very long time. They have retained their small town quaintness over the years through a lot of adversity.

The prices are kind of high here but it is such a large, clean store. Well organized and very sweet checker. I'd never been to this store. I'm not from Montesano. I was pleasantly surprised. I am docking one star because of the prices. But if you want it clean, neat and tidy store with excellent employees, then the prices aren't such a big deal.

I enjoy shopping at Thrifway whenever I need something, they usually always have it! I love the old photos on the wall from back in the day. I also love their card program, I've got a little over $50 to waiting for me to spend it.My grandma Tena was the book keeper here for years. Way back before computers. I remember always running up the stairs in the back to visit grandma whenever we went shopping with my mom. All she used was an adding machine, she was so fast on that thing!

A little pricey but very clean, great selection. Has the coolest person working in floral department I think her name was Cora. She was the most helpful person Ive encountered in a long time. Good store and good coffee even in the evening
