These people absolutely butchered my mom's elderly shepherd by forcing her stand for hours (even though it was explained that she is old and has bad hips) and trimming her hair so close to the skin she was covered with razor burn, something this poor dog who is regularly groomed elsewhere has never experienced. She was in so much UNNECESSARY pain from this torture session that my mom took her to the vet, where she was almost put down-because of a grooming service! These people have no business being in business, and from reading some of the other reviews it sounds like they are also neglectful, cruel boarders. The only reason you should take your pets here is if you hate them and want to pay someone to abuse them.

I've been using devonshire pet lodge for grooming my two shihtzus for over 3 years now. The ladies are super nice and the groomer always asks me if I want the same cuts as usual or if they are changing things up. My dogs come home looking wonderful!!

I referred you folks to my best friend. She explained how fragile her 14 year.old is to you folks.You had her.on her feet.for over 3 hrs! Now she can't walk. You trimmed her tail without permission. You shaved her so close to her skin she has razor burns. You didn't even call them to share, " maybe you should have called them and said, " she seems too fragile " YES she is. But you didn't even show care or concern for her. Now they are looking at " end of life" decision. Shame on you folks... I thought you had a kinder heart!

My pet 🐕 is a red and white husky and this place got him in when I needed him groomed. And aside from some tuffs on his under side he came out looking amazing and smelling good!

First let me start by saying I hate leaving bad reviews but in this case, I feel people need to know what happened to my chihuahua, Rose. My boyfriend and were glad to find a kennel that could take her as we had and emergency to go take care of. When we dropped rose of at Devonshire the staff was helpful and seemed to care. This made us feel comfortable boarding Rose there. However, when we picked her up, we knew we made a big mistake. We asked how Rose did and the only thing we were told when we came in the door was, she did great. First rose was terrified of the guy that brought her out to us and rose isn’t afraid of anyone. The dog hates getting in the car, but she flew out of my arms into the car she was shaking so bad. We have left her with other people before and she did not act like this when we picked her up. Second, they just threw her in a cage and didn’t pay any attention to rose. We sent blankets, toys and her bone with her but when we picked Rose up, they didn’t even know which blankets were hers and when they finally found her stuff it was packed just like we left it. Third Rose lost weight she looked sick and frail. She was starving she dove into her food and ate faster than I have ever seen her eat. She was also extremely thirsty. Rose couldn’t stop drinking water. Finally, she had diarrhea for a week, and I mean very runny diarrhea. We only left her there for 3 nights. Rose shouldn’t have been in such bad shape. We feel like she would have died if we left her for a week or more. We will never and I mean never use Devonshire pet lodge again. Rose did not do great instead she was neglected big time.

First time taking our Chihuahua here he contacted kennel cough there they took very good care of our Harley in an emergency yes we would recommend them he was scared he has never been around other people I didn't like they took his comfort toys away

First time I hav been there...I jist took my dog in for nails. The lady at the counter and the groomer were both sweet and the groomer got the first set of nails dun bf my dog even noticed she was clipping her nails. Of course my dog started yelping...she asked for my dog's name. Honey was pretty much dun in a coupla minutes. The groomer was kind and displayed professionalism. I was appreciative of her skills. Perfect nails job. Im taking my other dog in soon for the works.I was surprised at the clinic. Very clean and impressive looking clinic and kennel. There were 5-6 other dogs in kennels. I cant wait to take my dog in for a fur clip. Im impressed!

We have trusted Devonshire with our "jerks"(2 mini dachshunds) for quite some time, and I have nothing but good things to say about their services. One gets his nails trimmed, and one most recently was there for 3 nights while we were in Seattle. They are kind, clean, and friendly staff, and have no problem recommending their services.

This was a while ago so it might not be up to date but I feel like the experience I had is important to share so others can make their own judgment. I had picked up a friend's dog from here because there flight was delayed. I went in to main area and I just got hit with the strongest smell of urine and feces. I couldn't see what the living situation was for the dogs but they had a cat that was a lobby cat that was covered in scabs. Those might have been from anything but the cat was not nice and seemed to be in quite a bit of pain from the way their behavior was. My friends dogs behavior was uncharacteristic as well. I hope the service has improved since I had my experience.

Ever since I have not been able to groom my own dog I have been looking for someone I was happy with with no luck until I ended up trying Devenshire‘s pet grooming. I am very very happy with the quality of work and the kindness of the owners and the groomer.I think I will stick with them ,they made me very happy with the way the groomer groomed my dog, and The kindness they showed my sweet girl. Thank you very much Devenshire pet grooming .

Our dog was there for five days, The sad part is that the dogs are locked up from 6pm - 700 am, that is a long time for a dog to hold his/her faculties. I really should have asked these questions before I took my dog there, how ever I found out the day my plane was leaving. My dog was so stressed out from his experience, and he smelled like he layed in his own urine for the whole time. We will never use them again.

very expensive $60 for eight hours three dogs. kenneled themcost $420. for seven days. Locked up in a kennel for sevendaysno exercise bit much.Thank you, any way
