Excellent experience! We dropped by just to get our pup's nails clipped. They take walk-ins for clippings & only charge $15. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they actually do puppies' nails for free, up to 6 months of age. So sweet! We tipped & our pup was happy to get a treat too. Sincerely friendly service from true animal lovers. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome, I can’t say enough. They went above and beyond for me and my family after a horrible experience at Bark N Style in Wallingford/Seattle. The staff was warm, friendly and did a superb job on my Golden. Sometimes it’s the small unexpected deeds make this world better place. Thanks again Sam and staff ❤️

My female black lab is a little over 1 year old and recently she discovered a love for swimming. I went to Sam's to find a floating retrieving toy and was successful! My lab was so excited. She pranced with the toy all the way to the lake. I threw it in the water and to my suprise, it sank! A few minutes later it bobbed back up to the surface. My mistake, I guess I should have tested it. A kind paddle boarder was nice enough to retrieve it for me as it bobbed its way too far out for my dog to get. In the mean time, I used all natural, 100% maple stick. After we got the new toy back, I would have my girl wait while I threw it in, make sure it bobbed back up and then command her to go get it. This was working well for several throws and then one time she brought it back and left it in the water by the shore and we could not find it again. I contacted sams immediately, they would not refund me the money ($20.99). And did not have any other solutions. I have sent an email to the company (ruffdawg) advising them of this toy not floating. I also recommend Sam's remove this toy from their shelves as it is definitely NOT a floating toy.

Great selection for cats and dogs, they have small rabbit selection, which is our primary reason for going. There is an abundance of political ideology that i don't care care for (blue and pink hair, you can decide from there), but most of the staff is friendly, so we will continue until it gets our of hand.

Good service, knowledgeable staff, and you can bring your pet inside like any pet store. The prices aren't as competitive as you can get at other places, but I suspect being a solo location or privately owned that a higher profit is built into the prices to cover costs elsewhere. My dog doesn't care where the treats come from, but my wallet does.

Been taking our dogs here for a long time, great selection of high quality pet stuff. Be prepared to drop more money than you would at Petco/Petsmart, but it's all worth it.

Came to store to buy a calming cat product for my 2 adult cats who are stressed because of a 5 month kitten introduced into family. I was interested in a cat treat product that i found but was redirected by store clerk to something else. There is a dog on the front but she says it's for cats too. Arks Happy Traveler clearly is not for cats. The clerk said is sells well, most likely to dog owners. Super disappointed by this purchase.My cats strongly rejected it even when I tried several ways to introduce it in their food. Such a waste and it did not work. Had the clerk not kept recommending it I never would have purchased it and bought the other one that was marketed for cats.My take away from this to Sam's and their employees is don't push a product that you don't know for a fact that it works. She talked of the great ingredients and distracted me from my original choice. Not a happy customer as my goal was to provide relief to my cats.

Love the folks at this store. They're so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products and pets' needs. My dog has a very sensitive tummy and some food intolerances, and with the help of the staff at Sam's we've found a food that's working great for her (Pure Vita by NutriSource). She's happier and more energetic than ever since switching! They've been really helpful with finding treats and probiotics that work for her, as well. I have a lot of trust in their expertise!

Love this place. Not sure if it's good or bad how much we visit. We buy our dogs food, cats treats, toys for all our animals here. Wonderful, helpful staff thats always attentive. You're not going to find Walmart prices but you're also getting what you pay for. If you want quality food and items for your furry family members this is the place to go.

The perfect place if you are looking for more natural, healthy, quality, and sometimes hard to find toys, products, grooming, food (raw, kibble, canned, and freeze dried) and treat options. Wide selection of leashes, food, treats, chews, collars, harnesses, and cones. food, treats, etc. They have top notch food and some more budget friendly options. The location was clean and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable so they could help you if you needed direction.

We spent over $350 at this store for our new pup. We asked aboutthe durability of the leash we bought for $38, they said it was great and very durable for our type and size pup. Within the first hour, it broke!!!! Only took one little chomp! Not chew, just a one time chomp! Obviously it is a very cheaply made/OVER PRICED leash. They refused to exchange or refund. I will NEVER buy from this store again.

Staff is not friendly. New to town and looking for our go-to dog food place for our two small dogs. We have a 40 min commute to Monroe with a toddler. Taste of the Wild dog food was almost $4 more than we have ever spent on it. We were also denied access to the bathroom because of COVID. Won't be back to this place.

Staff is extremely helpful with strong emphasis on customer service.Sam’s employees really explain things well and have tremendous in depth product knowledge of foods and products. I like shopping local and even more I appreciate staff who are as attentive and helpful as the Monroe Sam’s.

The staff here are always so friendly and have gotten to know us over the years - especially our shy dog. Their selection of good, healthy pet foods is great, and they have really taken the Covid crisis seriously, always properly masked and with plenty of precautions in place. I miss their outdoor events.Also, when our dog passed away, Sam (the owner) graciously took back the unused food and supplies we had just bought for him, and offered to donate the refund to the pet rescue that we adopted him from - which we took him up on. It was a very nice gesture that I know he didn't need to do, and that's stuck with us since. :)

Took Oakley to get Santa pictures here and it was such a great time ! They even gave out gift bags after we had pictures done and it was such a incredible time, will definitely be back for some treat shopping!

Manager likes to hang up on anyone who voices there concern about there TERRIBLE return policy. Wanted to return a harness that didn’t fit my dog and was told no? You can return it unless it’s a dog bed, dog leash, dog collar, dog bowl….. boy just about anything in there store. So tell me…. what CAN I return? Poor customer service experience overall. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I just absolutely love this store. I brought my dog in for his bday. He got to roam the aisles, on a leash of course, and pick out his very own new toy. They have a wide selection of treats for your fur babies. Love the people. I always try to support my local small business

Cat grooming once a month. Usually very satisfied with the grooming. Cat comes back looking nice. Never any shaver burns or nicks-shows love for what they do and your pet. Very neat place with lots of variety. Not the best place for fish stuff, but great for if you own a cat or a dog. Staff is friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
