Overpriced for what you get. The room was tiny and needed renovation. The bar/restaurant was good, and the server Ryan was awesome. We had dinner early (ok food) and went back for dessert at 8:30pm. The biggest issue with the restaurant is that it closes way too early. 8pm on a Saturday night and there is literally nothing you can purchase after that. They don't even have a place to buy water. It just really ruined our night that there was nothing to do so early, and by no means were we looking to party late. I wouldn't go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Crest, great views of the ocean, easy access to the beach, great dinner, friendly staff throughout, very comfortable beds. This checked all the boxes for a family with a 5 year old. The pool was closed for maintenance and unfortunately breakfast is no longer offered. However, we knew this heading into the stay due to the excellent staffs upfront communication. We can't wait to stay here again to checkout the pool and also *crossing fingers* a return of breakfast. Thanks Ocean Crest!

It looks dated from the outside, but their studio rooms have been updated and are very modern and comfortable. The ocean views are fantastic, and the restaurant is legitimately one of the best in the northwest. My partner and I have spent a couple weekends here in the off-season and the experience can't be beat for the price. Five stars, emphatically.Rooms: Studios are updated and modern, very comfortable beds, large 4k LED TVs. Suites and cabins have not been updated significantly.Nearby activities: There's a boardwalk staircase down to the beach. I haven't walked down myself, but you can see most of the structure from various points on the property. It looks well-built and kept.Food & drinks: The restaurant is top-notch northwest fare. I've had 3 entree dishes (beef, pork, and fish) (and sampled the vegan dish) and various apps, sides, and salads in my visits. All are delicious and prepared and presented perfectly. It's a hidden gem AND a bargain for the quality.

We got one of the remodeled rooms. Very clean and nice. Mattresses a little uncomfortable. Beautiful view. Pool, sauna and hot tub are across the street in a lovely building. All very clean and nice. The stairway to the beach was great. Food at the restaurant was very good the one night we dined there. Had made reservations for two other nights to eat there before our trip but they changed the hours and were closed both days, we were not informed prior. A little disappointing considering we chose this location for the restaurant. Overall a nice visit. Would stay again.

Cannot think of or say anything negative about our experience here at Ocean Crest. Our weekend was exceptional and the service was above and beyond. Kyl and Ryan are the best: right on top of making sure our dining experience was nothing but the best, food is out of this world GREAT! I will recommend Ocean Crest to everyone I know and visit looking for services and experiences outside of world 🌎Rooms: Very quaint and romantic with Pacific Ocean viewWalkability: Rooms dining lounge all closely togetherFood & drinks: Foods are chef prepared specialties: A1

This is an exquisite place to stay and eat. We were very pleased with the dining and breakfast. It has a great atmosphere, and the view is outstanding. The small bar area and entrance is very well decorated with blown glass artwork. Service is impeccable with fine dining quality. I highly recommend this place. It was our favorite during the week long adventure around Olympic National Park.Rooms: Excellent rooms in the newer building. The hardwood floor is very nice, just a little loader from some busy feet upstairs.

This is our second time staying here (in December, off season, makes for a quiet/romantic getaway). The rooms are exactly what you're after for $130. The front desk was friendly and helpful! Now let's talk about the star of the show. The restaurant. The vibe of the restaurant is elevated dining, and the food + service are top notch. On our recent stay, Kyle was our server and he was excellent. The thoughtful menu, features local seafood. The restaurant features a large + well priced drink list. The view of the ocean is spectacular from any seat in the restaraunt. Recommend listening to the specials! The tableside creme brulee was the best we've ever had, and would highly recommend. We'll definitely be back for our next anniversary!

After a last minute booking with our usual spot being booked up, my husband found this gem! I wasn't expecting much based on the outside alone but I was pleasantly surprised with the room we got. It was very cozy and modern with a rustic feel to it as well. Our view was superb and we really enjoyed the fire place on our last night. My husband and I both agreed that it felt like home with the only thing missing being a full kitchen. We brought our 2 dogs and even they loved the room lounging on every piece of furniture. The table by the window was perfect sitting at to have our morning coffee enjoying the sight of the ocean below. Our only complaint would be the pricing of the food at the restaurant but that's just us being nit picky since everything else was literally perfect! I didn't want to leave when it was time to check out and would've gladly stayed longer if we could. We will definitely be back I think and will now make this our new destination for vacation!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Ocean Crest Resort restaurant, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The combination of wonderful food and an ocean view created a delightful atmosphere that felt like a high-end restaurant. What sets this place apart is the affordability of their menu. Despite the upscale ambiance, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, making it accessible to a wider range of diners.I also want to mention the excellent service provided by Cynthia. Her attentiveness and professionalism added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience with great food, a stunning ocean view, and exceptional service, Ocean Crest Resort restaurant is a fantastic choice.

THE RESTAURANT IS AMAZING!! The food is on par with the best in Washington state! It’s that good! You will not be disappointed!!Not impressed with the accommodations. Dated and smelly! I stay elsewhere but always have dinner here!Rooms: Rooms are severely dated! Old TV, dated furniture, uncomfortable bed and nasty bathroom. My room smelled like a cannabis farm.

Not as nice as we had hoped. Floor was on a slant, which is disorienting. Price we were told for two nights, ended up being the price per night. Water in tub was rusty at the start. No breakfast on premise even though there's a restaurant. But go a few miles south to SeaBrook, best coffee shop around. The spa with pool and jacuzzi was a plus.

We didn’t stay in the hotel, but we did have a fabulous meal for the second year in a row to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Staff is amazing, food is amazing, ambience is amazing, views are amazing. They were so welcoming to our dogs letting them stay on the patio with us! Don’t miss the chocolate Indulgence dessert!Food & drinks: Great cocktails! Loved the curried shrimp and also the vegetable curry. Calamari was cooked to perfection. Clam chowder is outstanding.

Beautiful updated room and amazing view. Shower was the worst ever. Barely a trickle of water out of a giant rain head shower head. When we mentioned it to the front desk person she said they are on a well and there may have been a lot of other people showering. The place was empty. Pretty sure they have heard this complaint before, and rather than switching the shower head back to a smaller one that would improve the pressure, they are making silly excuses.

This resort/hotel is located in a beautiful spot. The view from the rooms is beautiful. We could actually hear the ocean from our room at night and it was so soothing. The stairs down to the beach was an added attraction. The rooms are old and dusty but if you think of it as a cabin more than a hotel, it’s manageable. The attached bathroom is tiny.We booked a one bedroom suite which was spacious enough for our family with 2 kids and a dog.The restaurant is amazing. The chef actually talked to us and custom created a cheese pizza for our toddlers. The best we ever had !!!They even customized some of their dishes to suit our specific diets.Walkability: Walkable to the beach.

This resort has been so good to us for our stay. We unfortunately didn’t get to stay for long but while being here, it’s been so lovely. The views are great, the staff is great. I am glad I was able to bring my dog along. The restaurant was absolutely delicious and we loved the spa as well. We would recommend this place to anyone trying to have a cozy and relaxing getaway.Rooms: The rooms are spacious and the view is perfectNearby activities: The beach is so close as well as the spa and restaurantSafety: We feel very safe hereWalkability: Everything is easily in walking distance that we need to access.Food & drinks: The food and drinks were 5 stars.Noteworthy details: The entire resort as a whole is a very lovely destination

Cozy get away. Lovely renovated lodging in the 400 building. We've been coming to the restaurant for 20 years and stayed at the resort the last 4. The views, the spa...but come for THE FOOD! Better than almost any fine dining experiences we've had in DC or Seattle. Such a hidden gem. Brunch menu might be even better than the fantastic dinner!Rooms: Wonderful views! Cozy accomodations. Reno of 400 building is excellentWalkability: Stairs down to the beach are a schlep. But fun for those who are able. Many car beach entrances nearby as well.

Spent a weekend in September in this resort. Beautiful view and excellent service from the front staff. Walk to the shore is also very pleasant through the wooden stairs. Kids loved the pool and food in the restaurant. Every staff in this property treated us with a smile. Great amenities and the rooms are as good as a 5 Star Hotel. Thank you for keeping it clean and pleasant for our visit.Rooms: Excellent condition, all upgraded to brand new floor, paints, furnitures and TV/other utilities.Walkability: Easy access to the beach. path well defined. Stairs are beautifully laid out.Food & drinks: Restaurant was great, good customer orientation.

Somehow when I booked my 3 nights stay they only reserved my room for 1 night, so when I checked in there was that mess to try to get straightened out. The rooms are decent for an older building the rooms are comfortable, clean, most of the things that you would expect except for I have no refrigerator or microwave in my room, that was a bit of a disappointment. The staff seems pretty nice. The restaurant has really good food but from what I understand it's closing at the end of this month so hopefully it is open at some other point in time because the food is really good, and the views from the restaurant are amazing!Walkability: The only direct access to the beach from the resort is a very tall winding staircase, not real good for people (or senior dogs) who cannot go up and down multiple flights of stairs but it is only a short drive to beach access areas.

Does not look like much from the street, but underneath its bland exterior lies a superb hotel. Our comfortable, large, well-appointed room had a great view of the sea. A somewhat hidden wooden stairway provides direct beach access... And what a beach - pure sea air and soft, clean sand stretching for miles in both directions with smallish waves quietly breaking against the shore. Included in the room fee, is access to an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. And finally, the hotel's restaurant provided delicious, fresh well seasoned meals for a reasonable charge. Highly recommended!
