I’m a otr transporter so I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotel motel rooms. This place is where you want to go if looking for something quiet, comfortable and cozy. The beach was 2 minutes away, with Ocean Shores about 20 minutes south. John and Carla are very nice and hospitality people hard to find that in todays world. Carla has a great talent on decorating rooms we loved it. We will go back next time we hit the coast. Thanks John and Carla for a great relaxing, cozy stay.

This place is so cute, everywhere you look, is something cute, from seashells to light houses. John and Carla are the nicest people. The rooms are spotless and everything you need there. Everything is well stocked. I am super hot person and in the bedroom there is a sign that says, "I am your biggest fan!!" I was so excited to see a fan. Carla's antique store is definitely worth the look, so many fun gems to find. We could not of found a greater place it was perfect. Oh also the sheets are so soft, plus they welcome dogs in some rooms and have dog sheets and towels for them. John and Carla are amazing and think of everything. We can't wait to come back!!!! ❤️

I’ve only been here a few hours and am absolutely in LOVE with it! So comfortable and beach-authentic, although that seems to be be changing. Sadly. To places that look sterile and unimaginative.This room is clean, warm and full of charm! And the attention to detail???? Hands DOWN the best I’ve ever stayed at.Owners are genuine and kind. I wouldn’t ever stay anywhere else

Absolutely gem of a small lodging. The owners are pleasant and the rooms are great. They built a 30 foot tall tower you can walk the steps up to get a great view of the coast.Two minute walk to the beach. Quiet here. Just lovely. We try to get out here at least once a year. It’s just a lovely place in a lovely town, with a lovely beach.

We were so lucky to find this fabulous little gem of a place to stay. Suite 3 was completely stocked and absolutely the most darling cozy place I've stayed in for years. John and Carla are amazing hosts. I can hardly wait to go back again and already made reservations for the near future.

We have stayed with Gullwing several times and have never been disappointed! John and Carla are fabulous hosts and the rooms feel more like you are staying with a friend. The rooms are always spotless, there is a hot tub, internet, movies, and the beach just across the street. For us it is important to take our two dogs and they are very dog friendly.

We said in room#1, it was cute! Just like going to Grandma's with all the antique decorations. The tower provides and amazing view! They jaquzzi was perfectly placed just outside the rooms, its half covered and shielded with latice fence for privacy. Our bed was so soft and comfy we slept in for the first time in months 😍 John and his wife are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable! We definitely want to come back!

I was in room 2. The room was rather small even for three people. The bathroom was fair sized and the kitchen was a good size too. The man in charge of this was very nice and accommodating. Even though we had outside guests in the hot tub when there is a sign posting that no one but guests were allowed, he was very friendly.

This place feels like your staying at a friend's cabin at the ocean. Very warm and friendly. We stayed in the largest room. Plenty of room even with 2 dogs. Short walk to the beach and a peek a boo view from the room. Reasonable rates w/a 2 nite min. Plenty of coffee and well stocked kitchen. Would definitely go again.

My wife and I stayed in unit 1. It was delightful and very comfortable. More like staying in a room in a friend's house than a hotel room. There is an awesome covered viewing platform from which to watch sunsets or just soak in the ocean breeze while enjoying some coffee. We will definitely visit again.

Great hosts and 2minutes from the beach. I love to visit in fall and spring. Bring groceries and just relax. Full size fridge and everything you need to prepare meals, or a short drive to Ocean Crest restaurant or Mill 109 ( limited hours off season so call and check). We mostly relax and walk on the huge beach with our dogs.Have fun!

Wife and I and the puppy had a marvelous time. Great place to stay if you want a small town feel. Ocean shores is only 30 miles down the road. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing, you are basically given a nice house to rent out for a little. kitchen, coffee machine, fridge, microwave, even a stove and oven. Loved the old times asthenic and loved chilling in the hot tub looking at the stars. Highly recommend
