FYI, They have an unwritten policy that people waiting in store to pick up prescriptions can skip the (very long) pick up line. However, since only some customers know about this policy, it results in an unnecessarily chaotic pickup experience and wasted time for non-regular customers.After waiting in line for 20 minutes *after* receiving the text that my prescriptions were ready, I overheard a pharmacy tech tell another customer he could skip the line when his prescription was ready if he was waiting for it in-store. He said, verbatim: "People may give you dirty looks, but just ignore them!"People give dirty looks because you aren't telling customers about this policy routinely. I pointed out that they should put up a sign at the drop off window so everyone knows and instead he just told me "We tell people you're allowed to skip the line, so don't write us a bad review about it online". What? I didn't say anything about reviews online, but now that you mention it...As a visitor on the island, I don't already know the unspoken rules of the Rite Aid prescription line, so I maintain that it's a bad customer service experience to have some customers skipping others in line simply because there's no communication about how it works. I would have been happy not to spend an unnecessary 20 minutes standing in line while other people whose prescriptions were also ready went ahead of me. Rather than skipping the line, I was essentially at the end of it.After leaving the pharmacy area, another customer privately told me that she hates the unnecessary chaos as well even though she knew about the policy already.

One of my favorite store here in Mercer Island. Inside is very clean. Items are put nicely on shelf. They sure have a great manager in store and emloyees!

Please note: pharmacy is closed between 1:30 and 2. Apparently that means that if you arrive before 1:30, say at 1:25, the pharmacy will be closed and you are out of luck. Rite Aid, you never fail to disappoint.

I want to call out Mercedes Crary for consistent exceptional service. We are not related, I do not know her from anywhere other than picking up my prescriptions at the Mercer Island Rite Aid. After 10 years using Walgreen's and growing frustrations and numerous bad experiences I switched to Rite Aid 2 years ago. Ms. Crary has been one of the primary reasons I am so grateful and appreciative of having made the move. The service and delivery of Rite Aid is so much more reliable and timely and consistent but greatly enhanced by Ms. Crary's tenacity in exploring best pathways to get the best costs. My family fills numerous every 30 day prescriptions but the insurance companies constantly change what they are willing to pay for or the rates. Ms. Crary happily works with me to compare GoodRX or AARP or several other co-pay providers and we/she frequently discovers that running the invoice through a different provider can save me substantial money. She is never too impatient to cancel the initial charge and restart from scractch to submit payment sources to secure the lowest cost. I really appreciate her professionalism and understanding and knowledgeable assitstance.

I hate seeing businesses fail on the island. But, sometimes they are so bad that it’s just inevitable. Sadly this rite aid is run so poorly that I do t see it lasting much longer. I hope they can find a way to turn things around.

Front desk lady consistently yells at me and my friends. Cause some kids with curly hair stole some stuff. I have curly don’t steal ever so rude. Just now we got kicked out for looking at a paper towel roll. Terrible service too I don’t wanna go anymore. 0/10

Everyone at the pharmacy has been kind in the past and they got things taken care of quickly today when we needed a prescription before they closed. They acknowledged they missed a voicemail so they only had 15 minutes to fill it for us, but they made it happen!

This Rite-Aid pharmacy hangs up repeatedly when I attempt to call in-person. I would not need to call in person if A) re-ordering prescriptions online was a clearer process, B) if I could trust them to call me if there was an issue with refilling a prescription, C) if I could trust them to notify me in a timely manner when the prescription is filled. But since they cannot or do not reliably carry out any of those necessary tasks in relation to prescriptions, I then must call them--which they also fail at. So then I resort to driving to the pharmacy physically in-person, stand in line anywhere between 10-25 minutes JUST to ask if my prescriptions have been received. Sometimes they have, sometimes they have not. I am currently trying to figure out a better arrangement, maybe Amazon or Costco will do better.

My gf and I have been struggling to work with this rite aid since moving back. Team at this pharmacy seem to be incompetent and illmanaged. Team is failing to review and accurately refill prescriptions for patients with admittedly does have more than few prescriptions needed at least monthly. Calling is impossible because(or so we thought) this location is so busy. In reality their team is intentionally ignoring the phones while underburdened. To test this, as the only people in line, i called the pharmacy line 10 times in a row. I could hear it ringing non stop on the opposite side of the pharmacy from the pickup window. They are ignoring the phones intentionally. I dont know if its because have been mean over the phones but this location is nothing special. There are plenty of pharmas in our region that deal with higher volume all day and continue to MANAGE their phone lines. Hell, even the walgreens down the street has a robot try and talk the dummies through prescription refills before you wait in a queue for the pharmacist.

The pharmacy just puts you on hold and then decline the call. I understand they are busy, but isn't answering the phone to take orders for elderly who do not know how to use the computer,also part of their job? Just so frustrating trying to get through to them.

Very bad service, the Rite Aid in the south of Mercer island has been closed, our prescription had been transferred to this location. the Pharmacy has set us as no insurance as default, and over charge our prescription many times, until one day, my wife realize it, and ask for adding our insurance to their system. however, they had continue to charge us with no insurance price in the subsequence visit, and deny that we have given them the insurance, every time, you have to show them the insurance, otherwise, they will charge you higher price without telling you...

Pharmacy seems to struggle to communicate prescription refills. I responded to the Rite Aid text prompt to refill my prescription multiple times, but neither the pharmacist nor my own doctor's office seemed to have anything helpful to say or was even aware of my prescription. When I went in person to the pharmacy, the staff seem to have minimum interest in helping me, even knowing I was behind on my refill by over a week. The lack of customer service is something I experienced repeatedly. Will be changing pharmacy. Store is fine.

I went in for a flu shot today. This was my first time going to this location. Alex was able to pull up my insurance information quickly even though I forgot to bring my insurance card. Lucy did a wonderful job giving me the shot. That was probably the fastest shot I’ve ever gotten. Not to mention I didn’t even feel it. 10/10 would recommend.

People are nice here but they are so overworked because of how many people they serve. Rite aid should have never closed their location on the south end of mercer island. Now the patients and employees suffer with extremely long waits and poor service. Hopefully someone else opens on the south end where rite aid was.

Was told they had a vaccine for my daughter for her second shot, and even got the confirmation text etc for the appointment, I drove 45mins only for them to tell me I had no appointment and that they had no vaccines available for child. I showed them the texts with the same address and phone number etc and they just said that never happened, and that they never talked to me even though it was obvious they did.Get more organized because people can’t just be driving out of their way to waste gas and not even get my daughter vaccinated

Amazing pharmacy and front end staff! I walked in to get a flu shot and I did not have to wait long at all. The staff in the pharmacy were so proactive, they pulled up my insurance information so quickly. Lucy and Bernice always provide great care. Lorlee, Alex, Lhea, and Shindy all work so efficiently and are kind even during stressful, busy hours! Cody does an amazing job in calling me in advance to remind me that I have a prescription ready! And everytime I come in, they know me by name. Great neighborhood pharmacy! The front end staff are always willing to help me in locating specific items! Clean, sanitary, and very friendly!

Inconvenient & Rudest pharmacy ever!!!!The older lady with the short brown curly hair was very rude. I was told to show my DL when dropping off a script. I'm NOT the person picking it up. If I was the one picking up the prescription I'd be more than happy to show my Driver's License for a controlled RX. I'm a Licensed Nurse Asst. I pick up & drop off scripts for my clients all the time. This is the 1st & only time I've ever been asked to show my Driver's License. This was an inconvenience to my 93 yr old client & myself. I had my client in the car waiting because she didn't feel well. I had to run back to the car for my wallet. It took someone 5 mins just to acknowledge me in the First place & the pharmacy wasn't busy.Also was told that it was "their policy" to do so.Change your pharmacy technician.If she doesn't like her job, please retire.Rudeness is not necessary or acceptable in the public.

Scheduled a Covid booster for a Thursday evening received a call on Wednesday morning to come in that day, when I arrived they were unable to find the paperwork to give me the vaccine. So I told him I would wait until the day of my appointment. I get a call on the Thursday requesting that I come in earlier than my appointment time because the vaccinator is only there till 2 o’clock though my appointment was scheduled for 5:20. Don’t offer appointments if you don’t have staff to cover.

Just visited this Rite Aid Pharmacy while I was in town and was extremely satisfied with the service. The pharmacist was kind, empathic, and, professional guiding me through the medication. Definitely one of the best Rite Aid's I've visited! Will be coming back!!

I made three attempts to get a flu shot here over two weeks, with no success.Attempt #1: They said they were out of vaccines.Attempt #2: They told me it was too close to pharmacy closing time (30 mins before).Attempt #3: Came near middle of the day, they refused to provide me any reason why they wouldn't do it, but just kept telling me to "come back tomorrow."It is clear that this place either doesn't know how to administer vaccines or they are too lazy to do it. Either way, don't waste your time here.

Good selection of grocery and other items. Wait for their buy one get one free ads when stocking up on bath and body care items. Friendly staff and helpful employees to assist. Pharmacy good service. You can drop off and shop. Usually ready in 15 to 45 min.

Absolutely LOVE the pharmacy department. After years of non-stop issues with Walgreens, I couldn't imagine that it could all be so easy. They are warm, friendly, and know how to solve problems. So much appreciated!

It took over 30 minutes for them to get my prescription ready. And the price ($88.00) was much, much higher than I've paid for the same meds elsewhere. I left without the prescription and got it filled at Walmart in Bellevue for $8.00.
