I have never been so happy to find a grooming business in my entire life! We see Hannah every 6-8 weeks and I have never been surprised at pick up. He always looks perfect!My dog is now 3 years old. I have been to several grooming businesses in town, prior to finding The Pet House. I was beginning to believe that it was normal to pick my dog up from his appointment and be disappointed that he didn’t look the way I had hoped he would. Even after showing pictures for reference and explaining what I wanted, in great detail, I always wound up disappointed in the end. After taking our pup to The Pet House, I experienced pure joy and satisfaction at pick up for the very first time, and every single time after! Hannah listens to what I have to say, asks questions, and provides consistent high quality grooming that has literally never left me unhappy. You simply cannot put a price on the quality of the service they provide.

Best groomer! They got my boy in 30 min after I called and he was done in about 2 hours. He has these nails that curl and long hair and they cleaned him up beautifully! This is the best he's ever looked and they gave him a musky man cologne smell. They did the best job ever! Thank you for the service and taking care of him. Handsome little devil.

My Spencer is a 16 year old retriever/chow mix. He's old, lumpy, bumpy, deaf and almost blind. His temperament is so sweet and caring that everyone loves him. The Pet House treats him like he's special (and he IS to us.) Thank you Hannah 😊

Hannah did the best job on my Aussie's cut that any groomer has done in a long time. And my 6yo has been getting groomed since she was 2! I also live down the street from the owners and love using a local business. They really are the best priced as well for the quality of service. And they can get pups in faster than any other place I've gone to. If I could give like 10 stars I would! My Aussie has an appointment with Hannah this Monday so I'll post pictures this time :)

I took my sister's small black female terrier here. I was able to get a soon date for the appointment, They sent me a reminder and took the dog in promptly for bath and close cut. Dog is much more comfortable in this hot weather. People handling her were calm and knew how to pick up a small dog without alarming her. Our second visit here and we will go back.

My pups have been to several groomers none have been as great as The Pet House! 🏠 I like the family hometown feel when Lucy & Buster have an appointment. Great place. Only people who will groom my jerk of a dog "Morty". He's a vicious little butthead but they are very patient. I'm very thankful they are around. I would have to shave him myself and no-one wants that.Have been going there for about a year and a half. Always consistent and kind. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, when this establishment changed owners, the quality of service has taken a turn towards the downside. Sad really, under prior ownership, you could always know your fur kids were in good hands and were happy campers when you picked them up. In sum, I like to tip generously but today I was extremely disappointed...no tips, loss of a paying customer, and this post (for starters). Might I suggest, be wise and survey the place before you take your beloved fur kids there. Peace out.

We have been taking our four huskies to this grooming salon for many years now, always all four getting simultaneously groomed. The owner of the salon and her employees go above and beyond in their care for our "fur babies" and always provide a beautiful result when we arrive to pick them up! We know it is not easy to groom the coat hair out of a husky, let alone four at once, so we commend The Pet House staff for taking special care of our loved ones and returning them to us smelling beautiful and looking absolutely shiny and clean every time! A very sincere thank you to The Pet House and Staff!

i’ve taken my dogs here multiple times and every time they do a damn good job. my dogs always smell so good for weeks after and they really get out all of that extra hair. i can not find a better groomer then them!

I told a very good friend of mine she needed to get her dog groomed cause he was really bad matted all up limping cause his toe nails and to my surprise she did . She is so happy with me for telling her to go the dog looks so good and he is not limping and prances around like he's got brand new shoes . I wish I had photos but anyways my 'atta girls , great jobs and whoop whoops go to Alexis the girl who did the transformation thank you so much you did the most excellent job he's not an easy to work with doggy , paws down you're the best . I recommend everyone who has a dog or cat go to the PET HOUSE for their grooming needs .

They cut my dog up pretty bad. Had to take it in the next day to the vet for emergency call. When I called them and ask him about what happened they said they don't know it's not their problem. I'd avoid the place like to play save your animals do not go there.

My sisters dog was a consistant client with the pet house and they knew and memorized her cut and grooming. Things were great all up until the last time she was groomed they completely shaved her instead of the style she usually gets. We always made sure every time she was dropped off there that they do not shave a certain part of her. Well they shaved her completely and then didn’t trim the nails the way we asked. We called to let them know of their mistake and the owner was aggravated with the fact we weren’t happy with the new cut instead of the regular same cut every single time. Like what? We should be happy for what we didn’t ask for? Anyways she didn’t try to offer any type of reimbursement or discount or anything to help make the situation lighter. She just said that she called (didn’t leave a voice message for a call back or anything) to “make it right” and will do nothing to make things right since she called already. But how can you make anything right if her hair is gone...... it’ll take months probably yrs for it to grow back the way it was supposed to be.. anyhow the communication with the owner was not accurate and she was very rude and did not act as if she gave any care as to the mistake that was made. She had an oh well mentality. I do not recommend taking your pet here if you want kind and understanding services.

Our experience at Pet House was ok. I was looking for a place to take my beagle for a nail trim. They were the only place I called that was available same day, but prices a bit high. I was pleased with the result but have an appt elsewhere with better customer service and prices are half of what I paid here. No complaints, but not impressed.

My girls seem to love it here, I do too. Kitty and Snow they both pulls me to the door. Compared to other places and my husky does the opposite. Awesome customer service. Call ahead and schedule appt leave a voice.mail and they will get to you which is usually within 24hrs if not right away. My furbabies always leave just as happy as they went in. No issues at all.

They did an amazing job on my 9.5 month old Shih Tzu. Her haircut is amazing and her little toe beans are each clean and you can see them all individually. She is soft and smells amazing. I was charged what I was quoted. The only thing I was unsatisfied with is her nail trimming. They are very jagged and they hurt badly when she scratches for attention and play. Other than that, I was satisfied with their skills and professionalism. I will probably be returning.

My 10 yr old Border Collie was groomed for the first time last year (not at The PET House) and it was a miserable experience for her. I explained her needs to them, and was ignored. They shaved her (badly), to bare skin in places, razor burns in others and they shaved off her nipples - no kidding.So this year I chose to book early with The PET House as they came very highly recommended. And I couldn't be more pleases! Her cut is beautiful, no lumps, bumps, bruises, abrasions or limps upon pickup. The nice lady who groomed her explained how she took things step by step to make sure my girl was comfortable and had a positive experience. Highly, highly, highly recommend and will no longer go anywhere else!

Because of the virus n phase county restrictions we had to go elsewhere to get our registered Siberian husky groomed. We were able to get an appointment at pet house grooming. Was glad she had space as getting ready for trip. Told to be there at noon. Got there around apptmt time little late as coming from king county n groomers in yelm..got to groomer went up to door n they could see our husky so knew status on how big dog she is n how much hair. Quote over phone was told they charge $65 but at Most $80 n shouldnt be over that!! Well told come back 3ish did that. Told not ready yet another 1 1/2 hours..they hadnt event got well into grooming yet! Did other dogs even though we had apptmt! Understand that for our dog its new but any professional groomer should be able to handle all dogs. Well finally got her done, however girl came out n said it was gonna be $140 n cash. We were quoted on phone n at the front door no more than $80! That should stand! Not change time n money ..very upset n disappointed in how things /communication was handled. Not by owner but different people. Our dog looks nice so nice job done just feel got screwed on time frame n money because inconsistent people n management. Very small place. For small dogs great not big dogs. Also when someone gets smart with u n tries to tell u what breed ur dog is that's totally out of line. I have papers showing my dog is an AKC registered Siberian husky. Not a malamute! The girl stood there arguing with me bout my dog! Boy my breeder in Ohio would set her straight!

My dogs loved it there... I have outdoor working shepherds that can get pretty wound up this time of year, but the loved it there and gave the groomers lots and lots of kisses! They were clean, happy, and silky smooth when they came out... hardly recognized them, and for a fraction of the price of the groomers in Spanaway I checked out!
