After living here for almost 7 years, and visiting this store many times, I'm editing my review.Every single time I've ever come here, the cashier has NEVER been friendly to me. It's not always the same person. They are always so rude and impersonal. I don't expect a conversation, but making eye contact with me at least once and smiling would be cool. I always feel so unwelcome in this store, and I'm a local.It's not just because I'm wearing a mask either, because it was this way before covid ever became a thing. I really don't understand, because I've had people in line in front of me and they were friendly with them and then I get up there and their entire attitude changes. I guess since I'm not in there every day, or multiple times a week they just don't care about me. I'm not a rude person either. I smile and say hello and try to make the transaction as quick and painless as possible.I shop at Dollar General any chance I get because they are actually friendly in there. I ONLY go to Gordon's if I need something DG doesn't have, and I don't want to drive into Shelton or Olympia.I hate this store

Truck driver here i stopped by to grab a few things for the truck and everything is really nice in here.Its clean. Selection is good. The employees are considerate, professional and helpful and polite.If im picking up here again i will be back to grab some essentials!

Been going here for years and have always had neutral service. Nothing bad, nothing superb. Just the average normal service. Not sure what exactly happened in the last 24 hours from the time I came in this morning, to the time I came in again later today but wow. I’ve been going to this store for years, probably around 8+ or so by myself. I’ve always had a backpack with me, at least 95% of the time, because I walk just over a mile roundtrip.Today seems like someone woke up, decided they weren’t happy, and made sure everyone felt that way too. I had an employee get in my personal space, within inches, and proceed to tell me I can not have my backpack because “it’s their rules”. I responded asking if that was posted for the public anywhere, which said employee told me no and continued to argue with me that it’s their rules. I felt completely picked out and targeted out of nowhere and explained I had came in the same day with the same backpack, and also tried saying that said employee had served me DOZENS of times while I was wearing the same backpack AND also watched me take off the backpack, in line, to get my wallet.I’m not sure what exactly is going on with your employees, but maybe you need to take a good look at some new ones.Incredibly disappointed and disgusted with what I’ve just experienced at your store.

Love the employees, pricing is good on most items, quality of the meat is great as well. They also have good sales, and often discount items as they get closer to the sell by date rather than throwing them away. It is the one place I actually like shopping for groceries.

For a local store, they can't carry everything that would be on my bi-weekly stock-up grocery list. To do that kind of food shopping I have to drive 40min. When it makes more sense to go a few miles to pick up a couple of things that I need right now, from past small store experience, I expect to pay at least 30-40% more,... so I stick to getting only what's on my list. HOWEVER, they're not only convenient, they DON'T price gouge, so I not only get what I need, I almost always get some things that I hadn't jotted down on my short list.Oh, and it'a very clean, well displayed, and the Staff are very welcoming/friendly/helpful!

If I could give this place a 0 star, I would. We are hardly come here, but tonight’s short and unsuccessful trip will be our last. We knew they were closing at 8pm and got into the door at 759, according to my watch set by satellite time. Instead of the bitchy employee saying they were getting ready to close, we were told “Nope, we are closing guys.” And then herded out the door like cattle. Not a sorry guys, or we were just closing, sorry. We literally needed 2 things and knew exactly where they were. For a small business in a small town, this was completely wrong, this was a terrible example of why small businesses are failing all around our small county. Me and my girlfriend both work customer service and have our entire lives. We know this could’ve been handled differently. Very disappointed in the way we were treated.

Stopped by here to pick up some milk for my toddler for a long drive back. Seems like a decent enough supermarket. Nothing fancy, but they have what you'll need. Make sure to bring cash if you're just grabbing a couple items, as transactions below $5 require a card, which isn't surprising for a place like this.

Clean, lower priced than nearby competition, reasonable parking. I camp in Elma, 6.5 miles away. Elma has it's Thriftway store, I'd MUCH rather drive the extra 5 miles to Gordon's. Note that they are only open 8am to 8pm.

Worst customer service there is. One of the younger ladies is very nice and helpful and the butcher is very helpful and nice but the older women at the cash register are horrible and have terrible customer service. You try to support our local economy but makes me want to drive out of town.

Customer service number1. freshness produce number 1. meat good. Prices high every where . More skinless boneless foster farms would be great . Seems like there are 6 family packs every 2 weeks keep up the good work Daniel Mckinney

i think its ok but the prices could be a lot lower and they need more staff and they need more product in there store if they want keep up with the main stores than they need to be able to compet with them to and they could also ues a whole new line of produce and not the old looking food that as soon you but it and take home with in 2 days mold on it cant eat it and have to throw it out but the people are nice there

The employees are caring and genuine, Gorden's Select has great sales on a daily basis, and you don't need to wait in long lines...Gordon's Select Market is where I want to shop!

Don’t like the hours. Wish they could open at least 6 am earlier and close at 11 pm . No hot food , and a little bit too expensive
