I stopped by this Safeway to pick up a floral arrangement and balloon for a friend this afternoon.I was very impressed with the woman working in the floral department because she went above and beyond helping me to find something that would be just right for my friend! Not only was she incredibly personable and friendly, but she also searched high, low, near, and far to help me find a balloon that would be just perfect…clearly, she nailed it!! This has to be the coolest balloon I’ve ever seen!Loved this experience, and will definitely come back for future floral and balloon needs! :)

Update: They took no actions and never gave me a refund or replacement.I went here last night and purchased some milks. I drank 1/2 of it without looking and my stomach and head started hurting but I figured it was just something else. Then tonight I went to drink the rest and noticed they expired in Oct of 2023, it is February of 2024. I told staff there is more on the floor and they are also likely expired to which they replied “okay.” The person in the phone didn’t listen enough to understand what I was saying, I said it was the milk on the shelves that are a single serving, not in dairy. They proceeded to say they’re going to talk to dairy about it and offered me a quart of milk in exchange for the bad “gallon”. The brand is “Horizon Organic: Strawberry Organic LowFat Milk” please be careful what you buy and look at the expiration date. 🙏

I don't like being my own casher! I don't like waiting 17 minutes to check myself out either. I know you really don't care because most are upset....but yet nothing changes. Your cashers were the face of company.

Went to Safeways today. Nobody in the meat department. Not one single cashier. No carts. I never go to the store because of their prices but now you can't even find a cashier. Horrible experience, especially if you're an adult with disability or anybody with a disability.

Worst location in the history of Safeways. Poorly staffed at all times, parking lot is a total mess and full of junkies and careless drivers. They regularly delay pick-up orders and the puck up spots are adjacent to a childcare center making it a complet gong show getting into one of the 4 slots at the end of the day. They ignore the phones and rather than give you bad news they will just hang up on you and stop pucking up. It is a store by and for the lowest common denominator.

Went with the wife to get some last minute thanksgiving supplies at Safeway, because they were 1 of the 2 stores that were open. Well we were grateful and all that they were open but some of the staff were sorta rude but only because it's rough being one of the two stores open oňn a holiday.When we were walking around to find the items we need, and some we didn't. We then spotted this in the meat department. I was impressed with my ability to not run out of the store screaming. It was not on sale, but it was for sale. I was appalled at what I found. You can see a vast amount of color difference. I would never of bought the ham but it still should not be out for customers buy thatm

This lower rating is due to the cost cutting that negates the Handicap parking accommodation. They are closing the main entryway in the evenings, in favor of a "deli" entryway which is at the opposite end of the building. So those that use the handicap parking, have to walk the farthest to enter the store.

Customer service is pretty reliably positive and this day hasn't changed that fact. It's tough to compare how good or bad the prices are compared to other supermarkets or stores with supermarkets within their department stores due to the high prices for everything because of the inflation. Hopefully it slows soon and prices can get back to normal with affordable shopping trips we were once fond of.

The biggest problem here isn’t that they’re so busy, the problem is that they don’t staff enough cashiers so that the customer lines back up into the aisles and start blocking other customers access.Naturally, people start going to self check out because there’s only one cashier and a huge line and then the self check out gets lines which also expand into customer walking areas.Due to that, this store is incredibly hard to shop at because the check out areas are so backed up and disorderly.It is likely going to take you a lot of time to give them your money so if you don’t have an extra half hour to wait in line, probably go somewhere else that knows how to manage customer flows.This particular issue has been ongoing for years so it’s not a new “phenomenon”.

Very good experience here. There is always Excellent customer service at this location, as most of the employees are from the smaller town it is located in. They have a strong sense of community!However, this time there must have been something that happened earlier in the day to the lady I had to deal with. I was very kind as I always try to be to everyone & she must have had a bad day. Anything I asked for & needed help (I was in my electric scooter due to losing my right leg & was unable to walk). She seemed to want to make things as difficult as she could & watch this amputee just struggle, I guess? LolOverall, it was still a nice place to be & everyone else was extremely helpful.

This store was very disappointing. The mens rest room has the look of old dirty tile, that needs to be cleaned or scoured, BADLY. When I saw the garbage can blocking one of the doors to go in/out on BOTH sides of the door, I felt laziness in proper repairs. At least signage as to why it was barried off, would have helped, since the door was not accessible.It was probably a great Safeway 20 or 30 year ago, but looks dated and cluttered now. My father was a Safeway store manager years ago, who's primary job was to get stores back up to positive service, cleanliness and competitive pricing.

WAY Understaffed, especially during peak hours.. Management ignores input to hire more employees. I know 2 people who work here and they only give them 4 hours a day. Changing my main store to winco foods from now on.Edit: it's been months since my original review and now they only have 1 checkout open at a time. Worst customer service I've ever seen, it's like they hate their customers.

My son went to Safeway to get us some FRESH donuts. Well they were cold and thawing out. They were so dry they were uneatable. What a sham...that is so unacceptable.

DECEPTIVE PRICING/PRODUCT PLACEMENT. Digital sale for family pack ribeys & NY strip. Read coupon details very thoroughly before goin. Got to store, sale cooler had L-R, short ribs, burger, Xtra thick ribeye FP, NY strip FP and then picked through NY & Thin cut ribey FP mixed. Large sale signs above each product until you get to end with steaks. Large sale sign 6.77/lb and small, almost unnoticeable sign for diff price on thin cut. Again, DIGITAL COUPON DETAILS DID NOT specify size of cut or how many in the family pack. Both products labeled exactly same except lb price & yellow member pricing. Even had very similar weight. Got to register and paid $9.99/lb for an items I was sure I verified to be $6.77/lb. Store was very busy so waited till I was in my vehicle to question it and inspect my reciept. Sure enough !! Called the meat dept and got told ONLY 3 PACK THICK CUT WAS ON SALE, NOT 4 PACK THIN CUT. Wait !! What ?????????? Exact same product and packaging. EXACT....Except thickness & number of steaks. And only one half size sign at the store to specify a difference. Asked for dept manager and suggested they separate such items better to avoid confusion because AT NO TIME PRIOR TO PURCHASE WAS I AWARE OF THIS MINOR DETAIL and did not notice a separate sign despite a minimum of 4 minutes looking through the packages. He was rude, and defensive saying he would be happy to show me the sign I did not notice, then justified it all and ended his explanation by saying that "he's been with them for 20 years and they aren't gunna change a thing ". IN MY OPINION THIS IS INTENTIONAL DECEPTION TO SELL A MORE EXSPENSIVE PRODUCT. So he's been ripping off fixed income and strict budget shoppers for 20 years ?It would not have been any more difficult to put thin cut on one side of cooler and sale cuts on other with diff meats in between. We're talkin a matter of 3 ft in the same cooler. That sign would certainly have gotten seen had this been the case. THIS IS AT LEAST THE 4TH TIME I HAVE CAUGHT THIS STORE DOING THIS TYPE OF PRODUCT PLACEMENT AND PRICING. I wonder how many times I did not catch it.SHAME ON YOU SAFEWAY !!

Update: 02-03-23Store was busy busy busy! Speeding drivers in the parking lot! PLEASE EVERYONE! SLOW DOWN. Five mph please. I understand you're in a hurry, but you don't want to run anyone over.It's raining and dusk and people think they need to speed. Homicide would look terrible on your record.The store floor is shiny and everything well stocked!Clean and staff was friendly.Parking is fine, straight in parking with plenty of space to park a bigger vehicle. Plenty of space for a truck and trailer in the far areas as well.

If you come late in the evening closer to closing time the place may have 1 or 2 other shoppers there. Usually just the self checkout will be open, but there is an store employee nearby if you have any issues figuring it out. Their quick to come over when the call attendent button is pressed.

I went in to get a money order and stood at the customer service counter for about 20 minutes and received no help. And was just stared at by the lady at one of the registers and the lady at the self checkout section. Literally just stared and had no customers to help and didn’t try to call anyone to come help me. I’ve never been so insulted and flabbergasted by the lack of customer service they displayed. Safeway you can do way better than that!

Not the best Safeway in the area due to parking lot safety. The ladies in the deli would rather talk to each other than help you, the young men working in the deli however are willing to help and have a much better attitude. Cashiers are great!

I have shopped at Safeway for many years. I've always appreciated the products they stock, great produce, and the best meat department. Unfortunately, the lack of cleanliness almost has me going elsewhere. It just seems like there is no pride. Broken/inoperable doors, cracked floor tiles, dirty building and floors, and most carts out in the parking lot or down the street or in the woods. When I visit a Hagens store or Albertsons, the impression is so much different. Time for Safewat execs to visit stores and bring back the days where cleanliness matters. Appearance matters. If you look like you know what you're doing and show that you care about your business, business will improve.

Safeway is a nice store. However, you take your chances in their parking lot. Not only have I been the recipient of someone trying to hit and run, (I happened to walk out as they were driving down the side of my car), but I've witnessed several accidents.

Great location full of selection in a clean and orderly format. We have one closer to home but it's dismal and their staff has a lot to be desired. It's worth the 5 mile drive each way to feel good about where your money goes.

TerribleLiterally forgot my card and had to run out to the car, since no one was working the self check area I wasn’t able to let anyone know about the incident I decided to just do it. Anyway when I got back the gal is about to send my stuff back. I explain my situation and she puts my groceries onto the floor and starts rescanning all my items, which is FINE, although this gal then puts it into the floor. Not back in the bag. On the floor. ?????? Who does that
