Safeway Maple-Valley is a clean store with ample parking spaces for customers. The store has almost everything you need for your groceries and personal needs. The self checkout was good too.

We like coming here especially early in the morning when they put out the fresh produce. The employees are always so nice and helpful. When my oldest has questions about veggies the produce clerks are always patient when listening to her and they treat her like a human being and seeing that makes her happy.

don’t place inattentive staff to man the self serve cashier. she intentionally looks down so as not to see the flashing light when machine has a problem so that she won’t have to work!

I’ve been to this safeway multiple times but never once have I experienced this racism at this safeway until today. The man who left his $20 bills at checkout on accident, I tried to run after him but I was baffled. his money was left in the checkout and I had stood there in disbelief when the white lady with curly hair ignored me when i asked for help multiple times. I hope this man realized he left is money. I wouldn’t recommend coming here at all.

Was at chip isle, some employee tells a kid to leave the store because he was kicked out for stealing the other day. The employee looks at me and also tells me to get out, saying I have a drink in my pocket. I show him my pockets just have my phone and airpods, he kicks me out anyway. I don't know the kid he kicked out, but I assume he also didn't do anything wrong.

My 18 year old tried 3 times with 3 separate people who apparently were managers, to get a first time job. She walked in 3 times and had a interview. (3rd time walking in was when the interview was scheduled. Because we made it known she's been trying HARD to get a job.) Can't even get a callback or someone who honors their word to communicate. Also, the person who said they were going to interview her, didn't. They need help, not sure why they are ignoring those who want to work. Very weird and sad. Discourages young adults trying to work.

On January 9th I went to Maple Valley safeway to get my free signature select ice cream. But some reason it didn't work at the self checkout and I asked a lady Associate who was working at the self checkout. She helped me to get it for free.After I got it my sister texted me and asked me to get her ice cream that she got from her rewards. But when she the lady Associate saw me at the check out she came to me right away and said " Ma'am you can't get 2 free icecream, I just gave it to you " . I said it is not for me, it is for my sister.She asked me to get it because she has a baby and she doesn't have a car, it was freezing cold , windy outside.I don't like to use my safeway weekly deals these days because the store's system is not working properly, it wasn't like that before. Each time I have to ask and explain, show my account to get my deals, discounts. That is not great shopping experience.

I went there today around 3:35 p.m and purchased alcohol.I handed my ID to the self check guy and then he started to ask me for my address.I asked him why do you need my address and he keeps demanding it.The guy next to me was also buying alcohol but he only look it over and let him go.I have never experienced anything like that.I always go here around night time and all employees are very friendly.Next time I will be considering buying alcohol somewhere else.I feel so disappointed.

Eve at the maple valley store working on service for the fried chicken was such a big help! She is so friendly and upbeat even when there was a rude customer in front of me. She kept her calmness and professional attitude even tho that rude customer didn't deserve her help... but had to . Thank you Eve for making a new batch of fried chicken and chicken strips...they were so nummmmy. I will definitely be looking forward to seeing Eve again soon 😊❤️

Yesterday at 4:15 p.m. we bought a family meal from the Chinese delli. The food was barely warm, and totally dried. This was our 1st. try for this food. Totaly dissatisfied . Called the store and they refunded our purchase price. Don't buy food at or around 4:00 p.m. because they are shutting down for the day.

I don't know what you call this cake? but I had it custom made? with six different types of chocolate.OMGOODNESS,! it was so rich and delicious! I had to drink a big glass of milk with it! HEHEHE.THE LADIES WILL CUSTOM MAKE YOU A CAKE, CUPCAKE, ANY KIND OF GOODY YOU WANT MADE? THEY CAN MAKE IT. ANY WAY YOU WANT IT. THAT'S WHY I LOVE THE BAKERY.

They are now allowing homeless to camp in the parking lot. Large trailers and motorhomes camped overnight. Cops said there is nothing they can do as the property owner allows it! So sad to see Maple Valley become Seattle.

They have a good system going, you can shop instore, you can order online & use curbside pickup, you can order online & have it delivered too. The only real complaint I have is about the produce, it's hard to find decent produce here. I personally feel like the company as a whole (all locations) has gone down hill when it comes to produce.But they have the best tasting frosting on all the bakery items like cake & cupcakes, etc. I only go to Safeway for my kids' birthday cakes.

The florist is awful her name is Lisa O. Just went there today and she had anger issues.She pooped two new balloons when we asked for a bigger string . Spoke to the store manager and she seems she doesn’t care .Never going back

Great location with lots of parking, well stocked shelves and helpful employees. If you want a more quiet, relaxed shopping experience, skip the Fred Meyer next door and come here.

Have everything I need and more always exactly the brands I'm looking for. Clean store. Associates seem a little depressed most days but they are helpful if needed. You just have to approach them they always know where something is or if they have it in stock. Which my luck at this store and this store alone they seem to always have things stocked. Who ever is in charge of this alone is doing a fine job. Just try to shop here during day time before afternoon rush it seems from the employees including management down to the people to here to shop it goes to a great place to a not the greatest place the closer to close... I love this Safeway tho. Again they always have what you need and more then another store I've visited...

Deli department mediocre. A lot of deep fried stuff like mini-marts. Produce dept is generally good, just watch expiration dates of packaged salads. Good selection in meat and seafood. Some good deals if you have a loyalty card.
