Mud Bay always has the nicest employees who go above and beyond for pet owners! I have two "quirky" pups and they always help me find solutions! I love having the peace of mind that anything I buy in the store is vet recommended. I'm a big Amazon shopper and so I knows reviews on Amazon are helpful, but not as reliable as an actual store with officially approved pet supplies.

Mud Bay is awesome! I love how many high quality treats and toys they have, plus the staff is always super nice. I've brought two of my dogs here for their birthdays and they were just as excited as I was. Their prices seem expensive at first, but it's only because they only stock super high quality stuff. Totally worth it!

I'm still surprised they aren't more expensive. They continue to be cheaper than online and local farm and ranch places. And, I'll happily pay a couple extra dollars for things they have in stock vs. Amazon. The new online order and delivery is also absolutely amazing!

I visited here on a trip with my dog from the east coast and if I lived here, we'd be at this store every day! They have everything you could ever need. The workers are so helpful, friendly, and love pets! They had everything I needed for my trip (pumpkin puree pouches, yogurt pup cups, and many, many, treats). If you have a pet, I would definitely check this place out!

Went to adoption event at Mud Bay. They did a great job showing my wife around while Smidget Rescue was setting up. It will be nice to get a Mud Bay in the Auburn area.

I'm back and forth with the rating of this store. It's amazing! The staff were great and the options are great (it is Mud Bay after all). I was more disappointed in the layout I guess. That's something that stuck out to me, it is definitely not a cat-friendly store I guess. I mean, maybe cat-owners aren't super into consumerism? Idk. I just felt like the layout made you realize how MUCH STUFF dog-owners get to pick through. The cat food and treats were stuck to the right side of the building and you can see the walls of the area and feel how small that area is compared to the rest of the store. I found everything I needed at that spot so I didn't venture to the back of the store.But the staff are bomb when it comes to customer service. They have cute little baggies of treats, like printed parchment paper baggies. And they have sample bags of the dry food so you don't have to commit to a big bag. Which is also a good business strategy in relation to their return policy...Overall good experience here, just didn't like the layout.

The workers here are so helpful! They are eager to help, super knowledgeable in their products, and are quick to offer suggestions of what your pet might like. I had a very picky eater, and they gave me a few cans to have my dog try to see what she would eat. Everything is high quality as well.

I am so happy when I go to the store and Jacob is working there. He is so knowledgeable and so very helpful. He never is in a rush, gives me his full attention and I can totally trust him because I believe he really loves animals and has their best interest at heart. I have been very pleased by this new location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They really seem interested in getting to know you pet and making recommendations. Good variety of products. Prices seem okay. Good for cats and dogs mainly, so I do have to use other pet stores to help my other pets

First time being there as it was suggested by my mother-in-law. There are many brands to choose from and if you have any questions, the ladies there are there to answer your questions. We also got a bag of random treats for our furbaby and she loves them!Will definitely be coming back when we're in town again!

My wife and I always buy pet things at mudbay. The staff is extremely helpful and all have pets of their own. They give you great suggestions and tips for issues with your pets and also free snacks for them as well.If you have a pet you should at least check this place out. Also, no matter which store we attend the results are the same.

I went in here yesterday because my lab was having incredible stomach trouble and the vet wasn't helping. I thought it might be his food. The clerk was incredible (can remember her name-petit blonde). She asked me more questions than my vet did and helped me pick a reasonably priced dog food. Now, my lab has been ill for two weeks. I've been hand making him chicken and rice in bone broth. I fed him last night and he woke me up in the middle of the night for more. He ate again this morning and pooped solid for the first time in two weeks. Now it could be that he just got better. But I am beyond impressed. This is my only pet stop from now on. I'm incredibly happy with the service.

I have only been into Mud Bay - Maple Valley a couple of times (I live out of town), but both times, every single employee I interacted with was energetic, informative, and most of all, SO sweet and kind to the pups who came in. Potty accidents were handled with grace and quick-cleaning, all of my questions about supplements for my aging boxer-mix were thoroughly answered, they had new, fun products both visits, and I don’t think I saw a single dog leave without being offered at least one free treat! Happy dogs = happy owners, and this place totally fits the equation. Thanks, Mud Bay!

A bit pricey for some things, but our dog's premium dry food is less expensive here than anywhere else. Staff is friendly, place is clean. Conveniently located in the 4-corners area of town. There's a scale where you can weigh your dog. And they'll give you samples of treats your dog (or kitty) can try out before you buy a whole container. No waiting, ever. They've recently started closing an hour earlier at night, so check hours before you go.

Love Mud Bay! Mud Bay is the pet store you go to when you finally accept your pet is a part of the family and not just the family pet. Mud bay can be pricier than other pet stores but but the selection they carry of foods toys bedding etc. is generally very safe, durable, and conscientious of a Pet's preferences or well being. On top of which, they have a 100% guarantee that if you are unhappy with any purchase, you can bring it back for a full refund. This location like many I have been to has very friendly and knowledgeable staff and a great selection for cats and dogs (possibly other small critters too). If you have cats, I highly recommend paw lickin chicken canned food, yeowz anything for catnip/cat toys and da fur/bird thing. If you have problems with your pets the staff can help and have fliers to hand out on tons of different issues! Stop by and see what Mud Bay has to offer of you haven't already!

I came in on Saturday the 17th of January and the clerk only had a bandana on her face yet she made an older gentleman put on a mask. We all know that bandana’s don’t filter out COVID 19... I was really disappointed that they don’t care about the safety of themselves or their customers. Face masks need to have filters built in to protect everyone. I won’t shop there in the future

I was curious what the name implied ... Mud Bay, it could have been a shop 4 truck flaps, or outdoor sports stuff, so being new to Washington State and having never seen a mud Bay store before I went in and found out that it was a place for boutique and probably some prescribed pet food. Very very expensive. If you have one little foo foo dog and it's your baby then I would imagine you would shop here. But I have three Huskies who eat like horses, and so I have to coupon and budget accordingly. Some of the dog food was over $5 a pound. It was definitely shocking.

I usually visit the Kent and now Fairwood shops as I live in Renton, but today I was closer to this one and figured I would stop since I've never been in. Smaller for sure, but the continuing theme of amazing products and a perfectly laid out store that pairs well with an extremely friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable staff runs true here (not that it surprised me, props Mud Bay!). They quickly helped look up a food that was discontinued/reformulated for my picky cats and helped me with samples on what I could possibly try to replace it, and didn't blink an eye at any stupid questions or extreme worry since one of my cats has a knack to go on hunger strikes if she doesn't like something in the slightest. The samples they give are generous, and the ideas to help with the hunger strikes were helpful and I'll definitely make a point to stop by this one whenever I'm in the area. I'm glad I stopped by! Thank you.

Today I was waiting for the store to open. I didn't know they changed their hours. When I saw one of the employees, she informed me they didn't open til 9:30 now. I explained I didn't have anymore dog food and dont get off work until 10:30 at ningt, so she went and got me a small bag of my dog food until I could come back in. This is what great service is. I want to thank the store for this amazing gesture.

Me and my bestfriend brought her heavily pregnant dog here to buy soft food for her and they gave her a treat. A male dog walked in with his owner and our dog got uncomfortable and started to bark a little. Even after the first bark the two cashiers were looking at us and our dog with disgust and irritation. Do not bring your dog here.

I wanted to transition kitty to new food. I have gender neutral kitty, however transition sheet mentioned “female, and harmful gendered pronouns such as she”. How can I feed gendered food to gender-neutral kitty? I was appalled, I thought mud bay was a forward-thinking, progressive company dedicated to ensuring the inclusion of ALL of its customers. Guess there’s just no room for us owners of gender neutral pets! I will go to butcher for gender neutral kitty food now, plus he’s handsome (He prefers to go along with the gender binary despite numerous explanations as to why it’s so oppressive).
