My husband bought a bottle of Enfamil vitamin D for my two month old baby at the store on February 15,2024 . I opened it on this Tuesday March 19 , 2024 and I found that it had expired on September 1, 2023. I couldn't believe that the pharmacy was selling expired baby vitamins. I took it to the pharmacy and told the store staff. She apologized and said that they had recently checked the vitamins and that I could go to the shelf and get a new one. But when I got to the shelf, I was shocked because the other two boxes on the shelf were also expired on March 1, 2024. Apparently they didn't check the date of the vitamins . So I told the cashier , she said she would deal with it and offered me a refund, I had no choice, but when she helped me refund, it was declined. She asked me to call the number on the receipt to find out why. I was speechless, I don’t want to waste my time for 13 dollars. I hope that the sale of expired products in their stores will be taken seriously so that this will not happen again in the future.

I just had back to back negative experiences with the pharmacy. I walked in Wednesday to make appointments for my family to get flu shots and covid boosters. After waiting a few minutes, someone finally came to the windows to help me. They were flippant, and said they couldn't help me as they 'don't have access' to the schedule and that I would have to make an appointment online. OK, no big deal. I did so, although the website gave me trouble uploading my insurance information. We went at the scheduled time. I waited for ~15 minutes with hardly any acknowledgement. Finally, someone came and told me they had a problem with their refrigerator and that they weren't sure which vaccines were still good. Would I like to reschedule? Absolutely not!!Why 2 stars instead of 1? We have had other positive experiences at this location, such as getting passport photos. They also carry a good selection of 'local' products. I would not trust or recommend using the pharmacy.

I had an interaction with a lady in the pharmacy today Nov 27th,2023 at 1:29pm and was turned away due to the closing hours for lunch being 1:30-2pmThe gentlemen was ready to help me and offer assistance since I was in line. However the lady belted outed rudely “we are closed, we are closed”I walked away realizing seconds later it was 1:29pm and not 1:30pm and turned around to tell her that it was 1:29pm which she agreed but still would not help me and I told her she was rude! Very very rude. She did not care and held her phone up to me and says “now it’s 1:30” and I left.I will not continue to use this pharmacy anymore. It has been my go to pharmacy for 7 years. But no more. Terrible customer service. Terrible.

Knowing how long and incapable this pharmacy is at filling prescriptions when you need them on the day your doctor sends them in, I started calling at 11:30, knowing my prescription was faxed at 8:30 am. From 11:34 to 11:48 I was on hold. The phone rang or I listen to music and then I hung up. At 11:50 from 12:05 I called again and same thing. I called again at 2:15 until 2:26, the phone rang, the same on hold, no answer. I called again at 3:34 on my drive home from work. Someone answered the phone., I told them I was calling about a prescription, she immediately put me on hold, and there I stayed for the next 37 minutes. I drove up to the Bartells’s with my phone in my hand, I approached the pharmacy tech and showed her my phone that was still on hold. She saw how angry I was, as I told her that I had been on hold, and she told me how she was the only one tech that day. I looked at the counter and saw 4 other techs standing there, as my phone call was still on hold. When I told her I didn’t understand why no one was able to pick up my call, she said “I can see that you’re pissed“. she pulled up my name on the computer and proceeded to tell me that she did not see any new prescription for me. However, when she looked again, it magically appeared. She told me that it was going to be another hour and asked me if I could wait 🤨.From 8:30 am to 5:27 pm…. 9 hours later! I only use this pharmacy because I have no other choice , but after this, I’m DONE! Something is wrong with this pharmacy when you have to double check to make sure you’re getting the correct medication every time. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE!!

I was incredibly disappointed by the lack of professionalism and respect I experienced when trying to reach the pharmacy. After waiting over ten minutes on hold, I was finally taken off hold, only to be hung up on without any explanation. This type of behavior is not only unprofessional but also reflects a complete disregard for customers' time and needs.Even when I tried to call back, I was informed that the pharmacy was closed. It's beyond belief that a business would not have a proper after-hours message or at least inform customers about their operating hours. This level of service needs to be revised, making me question the staff's competence and the management's commitment to customer satisfaction.I took the extra step of contacting the store and asking to speak to a manager, hoping to address the issue and provide feedback directly. Unfortunately, my experience didn't improve. The same lack of consideration continued, and I felt even more frustrated and disappointed.As a customer, I expect basic courtesy and professionalism when dealing with any business, especially one that involves my health and well-being. I have no choice but to question whether this pharmacy values its customers or if this treatment is the norm.My experience has left me contemplating whether I should take my business elsewhere. How a business treats its customers speaks volumes about its priorities, and at this point, I am thoroughly unimpressed.I am hopeful that my feedback will serve as a wake-up call for managing this pharmacy. Improvements are necessary not only for my benefit but for the benefit of all customers who deserve respect and efficient service. Should there be one, my next interaction will be more positive and respectful.If I could give no stars, I would in a heartbeat.Update: I tried contacting them by Twitter DM, but in order to do that you have have the stupid little $8 checkmark and I won’t be paying for that, so I can’t contact them directly via Twitter like the owner said to in his response. Unfreakingbelievable that a company would make anybody jump through hoops just to contact them. What a total joke. Now I think even less of the company. Good riddance.

The doctor yesterday before noon had a prescription called in before noon yesterday went in today to the BARTELS prescription wasn’t ready told me it would be a hour wait, after I finally got my antibiotics I asked pharmacist how can I get two doses in today? She said I couldn’t and that’s just the way it is. I’m so fed up with this. I’ve been going to BARTELS since I was a kid and I’m totally done it’s ridiculous and I thought she was very rude.

All the pharmacist were super rude and never help for anything. When waiting at counter was ignored and recived no services while waiting for help over ten mintues and they told me that they never saw me, and there was a line behind me.

This pharmacy has been ruined. It used to have nice local employees who knew everyone by name. The new female l pharmacist at this Maple Valley location is rude, hangs up on people, tells them to do things them selves. I was even told there was hundreds of people ahead of me so they will get to me eventually.

Did not actually have the medication that they had me waiting for. Took two hours to send the prescription to another pharmacy in which I was not able to pick it up till the next day. Never send a prescription to them.

There is a sign that says customers can use the bathroom if an employee escorts them back. Two employees told me that customers can NOT use the bathroom. Service used to be great here. Then, Rite aid bought Bartell and it's not a good place to shop anymore.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My family and I have been using this pharmacy for over 15 years and since RiteAid took over the customer service is horrible. I cannot count the times where I’ve called and called with no answer, left a voicemail, to never get a call back. I’ve had it at this point as I have a surgery planned and my doctor has not been able to get a hold of anyone to have my prescriptions filled and his voicemails have not been heard or responded to. I’ve called at least 8 times with no answer. They have lost my business, I will never use them again.

This is the worst! Days to fill anything. If there is a problem, they would never call you. They wait until you come in to tell you they can’t help you. I called, I am hung up on! I don’t think the problem is the assistants, it’s the pharmacists. They could care less. They change their hours at a moments notice.

The pharmacy is TERRIBLE. It takes literally a week to get a prescription filled. I once waited 8 days to get my prescription, and had run out of medication days before it came in. They are playing with peoples health here and don’t seem to care. The pharmacy staff do not answer the phone when you call, and you will be sent to voicemail. If you leave a message, you will not be called back EVER. I have done this 4 times and never once received a call back. The ONLY way to get a hold of someone is to physically go into the store and wait in line, and by that time you are so angry you can barely speak. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!

They are the worst ever. Pain medicine was entered into they system 5 pm the night before. I called at 11:00 am the next day. After 7 attempts to call, and finally getting someone to answer, the rudely told me it would take 3 1/2 hours to fill. Today, my Dr. sent an antibiotic. When I checked of status, I was placed on hold for over an hour. I Finally drove down and was still on hold. Their reaction was so what! This place is incompetent, uncaring and has lost me as customer! I ask that anyone who reads this review will do the same.

My review is in regards to the pharmacy. They do not answer the phone. I have called a minimum of 10 times and have left voicemails. I doubt they even listen to them because I never got a call back. What is the point of having a phone system if no one intends to answer it. My sister recently had the same problem and when she showed up in person they Informed her that she should have called, because they didn’t fill her prescription since she hadn’t called?? They did not answer the phone for her! Definitely one of the most annoying experiences.

This Bartells is really convenient and the store staff are very nice. The pharmacy staff on the other hand are very rude. They don’t greet you when you walk up to the counter. I understand everywhere is short staffed but I myself work in retail and guest services is the most important. I don’t need attitude when I ask why their drive up window is closed. I simply have sick children and avoiding going in the store is better for everyone. I do not recommend this location for the pharmacy.

Rite Aid ruined the Bartells pharmacy. Ever since they bought the chain the store has been understaffed. They don’t answer the phone. Prescriptions aren’t filled in a timely manner. I feel bad for the employees because they’re simply the victims of mismanagement by Rite Aid. But that doesn’t change the fact that Bartells Pharmacy is nearly unusable in its current state. And I’m sure I’ll just get a response like everyone else has asking to contact their customer care on Facebook or Twitter haha

Sorry to be blunt but, Bartells owner you don’t care about customers, I’ve had to go inside only to hear the pharmacists laugh about the drive thru, and you certainly don’t care about your pharmacy employee’s having to deal with irritated people who’ve been going here for decades, you’ve screwed this store up so bad, stop telling people to go online, except to look up Walgreens who’s windows open all of the time except a listed lunchtime, and by golly they answer the phone! Novel idea huh.UPDATE:!! Obviously someone reads complaints, seems they fixed everything in my review, they answered the phone, prescriptions are ready and the curtain was up, thank you for listening Bartels owner’s, this works better for your employees and customers

I had an appointment for a Covid booster that due to a new prescription my doctor suggested cancelling and rescheduling. So I called Bartells pharmacy that day (a week ago) to see if I could reschedule and was told no, so I asked if another member of my family could take my slot and was told yes. The woman said I just had to call in on the morning of my appointment and let them know. So I called today and was rudely told that they were short staffed and the pharmacy manager didn’t agree with that policy and they wouldn’t accommodate the change, but I could take my slot. I tried to explain that I’m now immune compromised and was again cut off, told she wasn’t going to argue and hung up on. There is clearly a disconnect about what their company policies are and a company that can’t agree how to run their business is not getting any business from my family that could potentially put our health at risk. And certainly no company that feels it’s appropriate to shame someone for being ill doesn’t have any business at all dispensing medical advice. I would not recommend this pharmacy for anything ever!

Called in my prescriptions at 0900 I was told they would be ready at 1145 I couldn’t pick them up until after 1700. They were not ready and was told they would be ready the next morning. So the next morning I called at 0900 no one answered had to leave a message and as of 1000 no one has called back. I have to give them a 1 star (it’s the lowest) But they don’t deserve a star

Really gone downhill since they were acquired by Rite Aid. They incorrectly filled my prescription. 3 inhalers containing 30 puffs each is not 90 days of prescription when the instructions state, "2 puffs 2X per day". I have attempted to call them numerous times. No answer. The INSURANCE company has attempted to call and has left a message. No answer. No returned message. This is a BAD PHARMACY.

Slow drive through, unfriendly pharmacists, a few of the older ladies that work the front desk, especially the short haired Vietnamese or Chinese one that is just a ringer not a tech. She is the worst, unfriendly, slow, and messes stuff up all the time. She never calls back whene there is a problem even though she says she will. So you show up hours later only to have to sit for three hours or four more!!! So mad about it too! My three year old had not had dinner and I had to them call my doc get it approved because Brian the pharmacist decided he didn’t want to uphold the three day early window with my pain meds or my aNxiety meds. So my doc calls and what does he do, gets pain approved but not the other two I asked for. I swear someone is going to end up out of a med that send them to the hospital like anxiety meds. Not having that will give you a seizure and you can die! It should not take 45 min to an hour and a half to fill a script when I stop in and drop it off. If I’m waiting for it then it should be 20 min flat rate. Costco and everyone else does it that way too. I was so mistreated and disrespected and they would give me eye contact even because I was there to get my usual pain meds, ooooh scary! I have serious chronic pain issues and not everyone that has pain meds is an addict, I am not!! Maybe if they were trained to know better or just trained to give all people common curtousy and good service no matter what. I wanted four hours for my one medication and got no apology and no nothing! I can’t wait to move and get out of this pharmacy. If you get mad though then they really think your an addict because your mad about the service not the meds you waited for but they don’t get the difference. It’s so disgusting, I was talking to my doctors office bout this the other day. Anyway Fred Meyer is awful and all CVS and Walgreens are Awful so I can’t make a good recommendation. Bartells is good if you have a few hours to spend going to the Pharmacy and you don’t mind being disrespected pending whatnyour meds are that time. They need all new employees if you ask me. I started a new med and the checker guy told the Asian pharmacist so many times I needed a consult so when she got off the phone she kept ignoring me! Looked at me and kept ignoring me. Again I stood there thirty min with a toddler and said sorry I can’t wait. Nobody called me or made up for that. Going home with a med I knew nothing about an SNRI at that dangerous! I had to email my doc and explain my pharmacy is inept and please explain it to me. Tres carefully is what I say and they don’t know me at lol and o have been there weekly for three years. They don’t want to know you if you take certain meds though. Someday I won’t be on these anymore and I won’t forget the way they treated me during a really painful period in my life postpartum fibromyalgia.

Be mindful when getting a flu shot at this location. My wife got hers and they had an assistant do it under supervision. It was painful and was the first time blood dripped down to the floor from a flu shot injection site. I got my flu shot with no problems at this location when a more competent person did the injection. No major issues getting prescriptions filled here though.

I really like Bartell Drugs in general. It's locally owned and features a lot of great, northwest (local) products. Unfortunately, the pharmacy is the worst. I've endured long waits on several occasions, and a few times had to go back the next day to pick up part of an order that wasn't ready on time. I'll still shop there for the unique Northwest products, but I'm switching to mail order for my prescriptions.

No customer service I waited at the drop off rx area to get a flu shot for over 10min nobody acknowledged me. I then went over to the pick up rx area only to be told I needed a appointment!!!! There are 3 other pharmacies in my area. With the push to get your flu shot I would think Bartells would be more customer friendly especially because there was nobody there to get a flu shot at the time I tried. Will not be back ever!!!!

Worst pharmacy grand daughter diagnosed with pneumonia and they did not have the antibiotics. My daughter had issues asking them to transfer to another location. After about 2 hours I got on the phone with another Bartells (Lake Meridian) and they were fantastic. 1st I confirmed they had both medications. They told me what I needed to do for them to fill the prescriptions. I called Maple Valley and was put on hold right off the bat. When they answered I told them what they needed to do so these the other location could fill. Called Lake Meridian back and they told me they would've have it filled in 30 minutes

DO NOT USE THEIR PHARMACY!!!! After 2 years of going here I’ve never been treated like a normal customer... I have medicine that I take to help subsidize chronic migraines. They treat me like a drug addict every time I try to pick it up. And today I’m done! After putting in a request a week ago for it I came in to get it and they told me it wasn’t ready for pick up and no request was put in! So if you have medicine that you need refills consistently DO NOT come here unless you like waiting and treated poorly!
