My husband Jeff and I had such a great experience here!! The ciders were very tasty and all very different. Our favorite is the Golden Ghost! The ambiance was very relaxed and peaceful! Our two boys had a lot of fun playing in the grass area outside the tasting room. Reed was so friendly and he made us instant fans of Rootwood Cider Taproom! Thank you for the great hospitality!! We became members and have already came back for a return visit!

Great experience. All the ciders I tried were delicious. My personal favorite was the pollinator. Beautiful area, great service. Highly recommend.Also side note- get the apple chips with honey cream cheese. Perfection!

Very yummy ciders! We tried the Harrison, pollinator, and rosemary grapefruit in the flight. We liked pollinator the best. We also had apple chips with cream cheese — such a fun snack! Loved the scenery and decor as well.

2022 - Update - My last review was when the taproom was in downtown Manson and this was my first visit to the Orchard - I absolutely love this location. It is a cute and cozy tasting room set in the Orchard - we visited in the snow in winter and it was so peaceful and gave such a warm feeling despite the weather outdoors. We did a tasting, bought some bottles, and the best part - had some hot spiced cider to warm us up in the winter weather! I can't wait to visit again in the summer!This is a great stop for a change of pace from the winery visits in the area. The day we stopped they had a flight sampler of 4 different ciders and it was hard to pick a favorite! They all had their own standout flavors - perfect combinations of crispness, tartness, sweetness & honey. The atmosphere is great for enjoying a glass while visiting with friends both inside and outside on the sunny patio. It was very cool to hear the family story from one of the pourers, they have a great vision on how to bring the apple farm into the modern day by adding a cider producing and tasting room. Very worth a visit - we will be back to sample more tastes and glasses on future visits to the area!

While in the area, we decided to do something a bit different and do a cider tasting. The venue was great with awesome views with indoor and outdoor seating. Ciders were great.

We visited in January during a weekday and had a wonderful experience! The tasting room is in a very cute building right on the main street of Manson. Cider was delicious and we got several bottles to take home! Loved the hop infused cider especially, but everything was good! Service was excellent and friendly. We enjoyed a plate of salami, cheese, crackers and apricots as well. A fantastic family owned business and a must-visit when in the area!

Such cute little place with big flavors!! Love pollinators, it’s more on the sweet side as it’s infused with local honey. It has lots outdoor and indoor seatings and some snack options.

This is a great stop is you love ciders as much as I do! They have a ton of varieties and the flavors are out of this world. I love locally sourced and locally made, and these ciders are too notch! A must is you are in the Manson area!

I prefer beer over cider, but this was very good cider. Tasted six excellent ciders! Preferred the one with hops. What a surprise 😜. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making our time there very enjoyable!

Great place for cider lovers. We did two flights to try all the on tap ciders and loved them all. Great setting with amazing views and comfortable outdoor seating.The service was also very very good!

This was a great spot for a group. The staff was super friendly and the space was gorgeous! The rose cider and the grapefruit cider cocktail were super tasty. My group had a fun time sitting outside in their tasting area and enjoying the views. Some of the tables were covered so it would be a good spot even on a rainy day.

The ciders were really great and they even had a specialty drink of grapefruit and rosemary that was awesome. However, after being stored for about 6months I went to the cellar to pull out a bottle and found that their product had exploded, leaving me to pick up glass pieces and have to wipe down a lot of the area and surrounded stuff. That kind of sucked. So great product just be careful where you store it.

Great cidery in Manson! Picturesque views and pure flavors of apple lending more to the crisp and dry variety. My favorite was the Golden Russet. Super quaint with the outdoor private "huts" with propane fire. The view was amazing. Thanks Reed for being a great host!

On our most recent visit to Chelan, we were surprised to see our favorite cider place had moved but we decided to follow the sign and drive the couple miles up the hill to find them again. Their new location is beautiful, set amongst the orchard; a much more inviting environment with more room for the kids to roam while we relaxed with a flight of cider. Their new Rose release was SOOO GOOD that we went home with a growler. We also signed up for the the club so we could have their new releases sent directly to us quarterly.

Rootwood is wonderful! Their crisp, tasty, and bold ciders never disappoint making you feel as if you were in their apple orchards drinking straight from the apples themselves. Your first swig of their ciders will have you falling in love, and the experience of their beautiful taproom right near Lake Chelan will make you want to visit more than once. Great location, awesome company, and the best cider you can find on the West side of the Mississippi!

Great atmosphere with exceptional service. I love the Hop Infused cider and my mother's favorite is Lot 17. We both always enjoy the cheese and sausage plate as well. Highly recommended!

You probably came to the area for the wine, but you'll come back for the cider! Rootwood cider is amazing and the taproom is so cool. The design is hip, the staff are attentive, and the drinks are delicious. I can't wait to go back!
