We’ve been to several groomers in the area, some that charge $120! Petco is great, we had a wonderful experience today. Cici is so pretty and the cut was spot on, far better than anything we’ve had from other local groomers of late. (Puppy love is still the best).Cici was happy and cheerful when she came out. Clearly, she had a good time. Not to mention a new Lamby and the way out. It took 4 hours. We’ll definitely be coming backWe’ve been here several times and never had any issues. I suspect people who have recently complained are relying on Petco for cleanliness services instead of taking care of their pets.5 stars. Multiple visits. Multiple groomers. Heat management. Thank you Petco.

We tried their grooming services twice. First time, our dog got an ear infection from it that we had to go to the vet for. Second time, we asked them to barely trim him and he came back a different animal since his coat was cut so short. Never again. Our dog is always shivering and anxious after he leaves there which has never been the case after any other groomers. I really wanted to like it, they have really easy booking for groom appointments. The first photo is after petco’s groom. The second is after our normal groomer groomed him. Our normal groomer costs twice as much but they are dramatically better.

Always nice staff. Decent selection, but really high prices for basic dog toys. Unfortunately, we didn’t buy much because there’s other retailers that are much less for the items we wanted. They do have a good selection of live worms for my turtle, which we did buy.

Everytime I go here, the reptiles are being incorrectly cared for. Bearded dragons need to be kept separate and yet these cages are overcrowded. They also require a minimum 40 gallon as juveniles. There is one good lady there who actually cares about the well being of the animals and she isn't even the animal maintenance person. He just stands there with an annoyed expression. Don't buy animals from here. Do your research on an animal before you invest in a pet and buy from a reputable breeder.

Everyone at this Petco is super friendly and really knows their stuff! Every time my dog gets a groom here, she leaves happy and looks amazing! She is always well shampooed and trimmed and is very well taken care of. They also do a great job trimming her nails, brushing her teeth, and cleaning her ears! Petco grooming employees always ask me what I need and give good advice for caring for my pet. They are so kind and take pride in their work. I will always come here for anything pet-related! 🐕

Came in for Tiki Cat products and left disappointed. I understand there was a promotion but you would think that would actually create a need to order more, not just let it deplete all out. Looking at other brands and shelves around the store though, it didn't seem like this was actually the problem - there were empty areas everywhere. It also wouldn't hurt to strip and mop the floors. It just looks dingy in there. Staff was friendly. Prices are always better if you can get on repeat delivery.

I will never come back to do the grooming for my dog anymore. I came to pick up my dog and ring the bell once, no one showed up. I ringed the bell again after five minutes wait, still nobody showed up. Then I pressed the button twice. A guy showed up finally and yelled at me and told me to be respectful??? I told him I have been waiting for a long time. He said he doesn’t care. Never came across someone being so rude.

I have gone to this Petco for years, but today an employee was incredibly rude to us. An employee was filling crickets, and we asked for 36. He refused to get us any until we paid. ( never happened before) even though the check out line was long and we had more shopping to do. We often have to wait for Cricket services, so to have an employee talk down to us like that was quite surprising and a bit shocking. I asked if it was a new policy and he said that it isn’t “normally enforced” What a pain, not worth our trouble. We will be going to PetSmart for our five spoiled animals instead.

So beyond upset and frustrated with the groomers today. Brought my doodle in for an appointment (that had already been pushed back), and less than an hour later I get a call to come pick him up. The groomer said he was crying whenever she touched his paw (didn’t say which one), and that he wouldn’t be able to stand on the table all day. She said she had already shaved him, so the shampoo would get all the way to the skin, and that she would even it out before I got there. I hope this isn’t her idea of an even shave. When I got there someone else handed him off to me without saying anything, and just moved on. I want to know what happened, so he explains they go off the dog’s comfortability, and had to stop based on that. The lady who was grooming him never came out to talk with me, and after touching all of his paws right there, he is completely fine! He’s now a mess and they’ve lost a customer. I am livid. The worst to me, is he fact that she never came to speak with me, who does that?

WE HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH THIS GROOMER!The staff is disorganized and in certain circumstances unreliable. They cancel appointments often because their staff call out from work. They reschedule your appointments without as much as a phone call to verify if the adjusted time will work with your schedule. We were made aware of the most recent scheduling adjustment via text message.On the visit before our most recent grooming appointment our groomer left the store to go home for the day and called the wrong phone number. This happened after asking them multiple times to update the phone number in their system. With the exception of the actual grooming of the dog he was kept in a cage almost all day.

UPDATE: I took my dog to a different Petco wondering if that would help. He refused to go with the groomer and tried jumping the fence to get out. Compared to the whole year of eagerly going. So something happened to him and completely changed my dog At Lynnwood Petco. He won't go in to any of Petcos groomers now. HE WAS TRAUMATIZED BY SOMETHING And suddenly changed after a year of cooperating previously. They suggested a muzzle. Everyone at Petco knows and loved my dog. He never needed a muzzle. What traumatized him? My GSD is a, baby, children and cat friendly large dog and has gone to petco for over a year. He used to be excited to go but Something changed that. If someone accidentally cut his nails too short which caused him to react now, they should have just let me know. Also I took him to Vetco tonight and some blue haired person traumatized us. The person came running out and started accusing him of having a shock collar on. That person was very Over reactive and accusatory. I had to explain it was a automatic dog door collar. Needless to say my dog didn't like the trauma either. Then the same person talked down to me after that and claimed my dog was over reactive and made us put a muzzle on him.That person is obviously afraid of large breeds and was so dramatic she traumatized me and my dog. Also do they need 3, 4 or more people to surround a dog at the door? How would you feel? My dog has a kind demeanor and has been around children, cats and a lot of petco personal including their trainer. The last two trips there my dog has definitely displayed he no longer wants to be there. The Vetco gentleman that checked us in was nice and so was the cashier. Something obviously happened while my dog was there maybe it was accidentally but being forthright would have allowed me to figure out how to help my dog better. He doesn't want to even be in that particular store now.

Two stars since the staff is nice but the grooming is terrible. One star for that. Dog had serious razor burn and directions for his trim were not followed. Trim was uneven. Dog had to be coned for a week after. He did smell very nice after his bath.

I normally buy all my pets food from Petco and as I know Petco always match chewy prices or their Petco online prices. My partner went to the store to buy birds food which is at chewy website it’s for $7.99 and at the Petco online they have it also $7.99 and at the store they have it for $12.49. So I was on the phone with my partner telling him ask the sales associate to match chewy price or petco website price. The sales associate said we don’t match chewy prices and we don’t match Petco online prices at the store. In fact every time I go to Petco they match chewy or Petco online prices. I called the store and spoke with the associate her name is Nikki and I asked her if they match chewy prices or their online prices and she said no we don’t match chewy prices or Petco online prices at the store so I said ok since when ? She said it’s always like that. I’m very disappointed I will just go Straight to chewy and order my pets food from them bad customer service.

Edit: Addition:We have been using the grooming service for about a year now. And I can’t rave enough about JD. He is absolutely amazing with our pups. Always does a very thorough job. And also does a great job at making our dogs feel comfortable. He is worth every penny. And you can tell that he is truly passionate about what he does. Thanks JD!I had so much anxiety leaving my pup for her first grooming appointment. (Bathing service) My pup was also whining as I left her with the groomer. “Don’t leave me mom”Our groomer was Sara. She estimated 1.5 hours which was exactly right. And when I got my pup back, she smelled AMAZING, was super soft and looked beautiful! She showed NO signs of stress… she just gave me a look of “hey, what’s up mom?!”The Nails and hair between paw pads were cut like I requested, and teeth looked great too. We will be coming back!Thank you for taking care of my girl!

Everytime I come in, there’s no one to help me get crickets. I ended up quitting but today I came in for worms with my sister and I notice a temp gauge taped on the OUTSIDE of their ball python enclosure. Please do better. It clearly looks like you can put it back in properly if you took a few seconds to do it.

Turned my 5 pound dog away because he nipped while getting blow dried. Here’s the kicker, if you give you dog anxiety meds, so they don’t do that. They will refuse to work on your dog. It’s against petco policy to take any dog that’s under any sort of sedation. Joke of a company for grooming. Joke of a grooming staff. Take your dog anywhere else.

i went into the lynnwood PetCo. And as i’m walking through the fish section i come across a tank full of at least 7 dead fish. There were some sitting on the bottom decaying while other fish were eating it, and on the top there was another 5 maybe more just sucked into the filtration. When i brought this to the employees attention they brought up how they “don’t have enough staff to take out every fish when they die” as i’m standing next to a maybe 2 year old child who shouldn’t have to whiteness that.

Trisha F in the grooming department is a superhero. She's been grooming my Yorkie mix on a 8-10 week schedule for the last year. On this most recent groom I told her I was planning to get some holiday photos done with my dog and she even gave him a Christmas tree bandana. The communication is always spot and I appreciate that she clearly reads previous grooming notes, the cut is always consistent! My dog always comes back as cute as can be and bouncing off the walls. A stress free haircut is so important for both groomers and dogs, I'm glad she clearly takes such good care of him.

We just had the best nail trim experience with groomer Abby H - normally we go to the vet to get this done, but after Abby did our dog's nails we won't go anywhere else. Service was so fast and she did such a great job! Plus it was only $10, vet normally charges $20. Our dog was calm the whole time too. Great experience!

I drove all the way from West Seattle for a grooming appointment. When I arrived a woman came out and pet my dog. She then interrupted me and said she would come right back. She came back with the “Assistant Manager” who told me they would not accept my dog because of matting. Isn’t that what grooming is for? She was a little matted on her underbelly but most of her had no mats. I will never shop at PETCO again. If you cannot accommodate all grooming, then don’t offer it or put your restrictions on your website. Wasted 90 minutes of my life on this. PETCO is terrible

My 7 month old puppy had a great first dog training class and after I had hoped to have her nails clipped. As a walk-in I wasn't certain there would be time for someone to clip/trim her nails, but the stylist was available and did a great job. I was so please I have a return appointment for another nail trim and am looking forward to the ongoing dog training classes. Oh, purchased a couple toys and the associate was caring and friendly as well as the dog training instructor and stylist. Couldn't ask for much more than great assistance all the way around!

I went to Petco the other day to buy some crickets and some other things for my animals. Was looking around at all the animals; couldn't find an associate at all to help with ferrets (as I wanted to look at them closer). I didn't appreciate the snares and glares I got from the manager named Allen - he was rather rude, I say!Also; please give a positive shoutout to the cashier Esme, as she was excellent in her job performance and she deserves a raise for all the hard work she does! This review may be a 3 star, but she deserves a 5 star- No, 100 star review for her excellence, kindness, and overall positivity!So to all that shop at Petco, always request Esme because she is the best at her performance and will not rest until a customer is happy! Happiness and customer satisfactory is important. I know I really miss working here, but it was fun while it lasted... I'm still disappointed in the upper management, because they don't know what they did on letting someone (who's a hard worker) like me go.Sad but true...

I recently went to this Petco in Lynnwood to pick out a hamster for my daughter. However; I thought I was getting a female, when a week went by, and I realized it was a male! The person that helped me at the time, his name was Ian, he said it was a female; as it was also located on the tank's label as well. However, I'm not going to return the hamster - as this hamster has taken to me and my family.When it comes to small animals, birds, and or reptiles, please always make sure to double check an animal's sex before you tell the customers whether or not if it's male or female. And or change the labels on the tanks so you are not misinforming the customers.P.S. We originally named the hamster Ellie, but we changed it to Elliot - due to finding out its actual gender. But, me and my daughter are happy that our new hamster is taking to its new home!

‼️DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS TO PETCO GROOMERS‼️The grooming services here are so unprofessional and quite rude to their animals. We had an appointment booked for our senior dog AND had noted “have the most experienced groomer on her because she’s sensitive.” We’ve been going to this location for about a year prior, unfortunately our regular groomer had moved.When I arrived they were handling her so aggressively, and it almost looked like our dog was choking in the harness. I started to take a video and the employees tried to cover their work, they turned to look away and all of a sudden she’s hanging off the table!I was so surprised by the way they were treating my dog, we did bring it up-to management. We did get comped the grooming service but it was followed with “banning” our dog from their groomers as if it was her fault?!Please don’t take your animal here if you care for their well-being
