The sweetest puppies, and the nicest folks! We got our shih-poo, Honeybee, from Dee in July 2022. The kennels where the dogs are raised are very clean, and they have access to the outdoors. They only have a few litters at a time, and the puppies stay with their mama until they are ready to go to their forever homes. They visit the vet between 6 & 8 weeks, and you can get updates from Dee on the pup you have selected. The process to hold Honeybee was easy (they take PayPal- avoid places that won't), and we paid our balance in cash at pick up, so we felt assured we weren't being scammed. Overall great experience! If I ever decide to get another puppy, I will definitely go through Howdee Kennels again!

Peaches. I got her from Howdee Kennels in Oct. 2008, and she is hands down the sweetest and healthiest little dog I've ever known. She came to me in perfect health, a "cavapoo," at the age of 12 weeks. She'd had her shots and dew claws attended to. All she has ever done is be the best companion anyone could hope for. She has always been in perfect health. No issues. None. I cannot thank Howdee enough for the gift of this dog. She has brought me more joy than any amount of money could possibly buy.

Extremely dirty kennels!! Poor little one month old puppies where so dirty I didn’t even want to pick one up! The smell in their office was so bad I nearly threw up. The dogs outside in their runs where dirty and wet and starved for attention. Too many dogs for these people to keep up with in their later year, they need to retire.

I am so happy with our little guy! He is intelligent, well behaved & was practically potty trained when we brought him home. Deanne was easy to talk to, good with updates & had no problem if we wanted to go visit our pup from time to time. She gave us a doggy bag full of goodies for our toy poodle. Very nice people!

Owners are friendly and have well run, clean kennels and beautiful dogs. Dee allowed me to hold and bond with the puppy which will come home after final vet check. Beware I visited this breeder. I was not welcome into the area were the puppies lived with thier mothers. I was welcome into the area of the real kettle area. They only let me see thier runs. All puppies not clean and begging for some love and affection!Is want I found. Beware and check it out for yourself before buying from this breed. I rated 5 stars just in hope people would read my comments.

We contacted the owner (Dee) around 6 months ago via email inquiring about buying a puppy. She replied promptly with pictures of some beautiful puppies. My wife and I decided that we just weren't ready to buy.3 months later my wife and I decided that we were ready to buy so I emailed Dee once again. Once again she replied quickly and sent over pictures of the available litter. This was a litter of Shihpoo's which we just fell in love with.I set up a time to look at the litter and drove 3 hours to meet. Dee was very friendly and informative. We picked out a puppy and put down a deposit. 4 weeks later the puppy was ready to come home. We made another appt. to pick up the puppy. Dee had everything ready and the puppy was looking awesome!She included all the paperwork, gift bag, toy, food, blanket from the litter, ect. Scooby is now part of our family and we couldn't be happier! The entire process was easy. We will definitely be recommending Howdee Kennels to all of our friends and family. Thanks Dee!

My puppies parents are supposed to be 9/11 lbs. Not sure how I have a 16+ lb puppy. We love him but were expecting a 9-11 lb puppy. Makes us question his breed as a shipoo .
