It’s very nice shopping here for needed projects. The employees are very friendly, extremely helpful and the cashiers are polite, friendly, courteous and appreciate me as a customer. This is the way all stores should operate. Also, 90% of the time I either find the item I need in the store. Prices are reasonable, with the current times, although I can find similar items cheaper at either a Home Depot or Lowe’s, many of the items here say made in the U.S.A. …so I’m paying more but usually getting a better quality product or tool.

I love true value in Lynden. The customer service is always super great. Very friendly and very nice. I find most of what I need in that store with decent pricing. Everyone is really helpful. I am grateful to have them so close to our house. Thank you. True value.

They have just about everything you need. They usually have a good selection of discounted items, great for pickin something up for mothers day, birthdays, Christmas etc. Great store.

Just went to this hardware store in Lynden where I usually get my paint. Had to go back home to get my phone which fell out of my pocket in my driiveway so I could show them the picture of the codes for the paint color I want since they wiped out all of their old paint codes they had on file for customers. I go all the way back home, that goodness I found my phone, over an hour drive there and back and they tell me the paint machine is broken. It’s not the first time they’ve been unreliable at this location. I’m thinking the lady at the register who helped me when I first went in didn’t want to have to mix paint because she didn’t know how to do it and had to ask for help the first time, decided to just give me a lame answer because the paint lady that helped her probably went home. Also the paint I wanted is now $72 bucks a gallon! Not only had the price gone up dramatically but I really didn’t get the help I needed or maybe a heads up before I went home and back. So I think I’ll go to Blaine True Value so I can finish up my job. And after that, no more True Value. Too unreliable and they cost me a days work.

They have so much stuff here! Fun just to look! I bought several Christmas gifts and got the hardware abd household items I came for.... Wanted lamp oil... And they had it!

No real complaints, staff is courteous and helpful, parking is accessible and they have adequate parking right out front. The only thing I wish is that they would be open on Sundays but there are not many places in Lynden that are so I don't see that happening anytime soon.

True Value feels less Trumpy than the place around the corner. I'm sure they don't like this as a review in Lynden, but this place is good non political place for professionals and people who just want to pick up tools not politics.
