As they say - 'Ace Is The Place' through the years, I've become very fond of shopping at Ace Hardware - not only do they usually have what I need, I always discover new items there as well. Staff are friendly and helpful, the stores are always clean and well organized - they do a great job serving their customers, what's not to like about that?

Red head worker talked about his truck the whole time and was no help to me. He was asking me a lot of questions about if he can turbo a carburetor engine even though I was looking for paint. He was 0 help in finding anything I don’t know if I should be more disappointed in the staff who hired him or himself.

Recently went for my kids bedroom set hardware, employees very helpful and knowledgeable,sent me to right direction to my needs, found the location and then requested further assistance,which he was very helpful I would have been there quite a while trying to find right size nuts and bolts but with the great help i got what I needed and was on my way? If you are only needing basic hardware, the store is okay. If you need any services dealing with automotive (i.e. keys, key fobs, etc) I would suggest going somewhere else as they do not have a clue as to what they are doing, will give you the runaround for weeks if you need to order something (if you do order something and don't call to see if it is in you will never hear from them again). All I can say is it seems like it is a very poorly managed store. The old owners/managers were more on the ball than the current staff. Not worth the headaches.

Gotta love this place. The employees are helpful and attentive to customers needs. They were rather busy the day I went but several employees asked if I needed assistance and pointed me in the right direction. Made me a couple spare keys that worked perfect. A bit pricier than a big box store, but I'll take the great customer service over slight discounts any day.

Bought a ‘heavy duty’ 2 wheeled wheelbarrow from here. First load was some yard waste (pine cones and some small branches). Second load was a small load of chopped wood. After I dumped it, I saw a large hole in the bottom of the wheelbarrow. Rather than apologize for the inconvenience and accept my return. The employee decided to talk down to me and tell me I shouldn’t move wood in the heavy duty, two wheeled wheelbarrow. And then had the audacity to ask if I wanted to buy a different one from him. No thanks! Service matters!

Exceptional customer service! They go above and beyond! They have everything for fix it jobs and maintenance stuff all at very comparable prices to big box stores where the staff is not so helpful and kind. Ace staff is super freindly and will walk you through whatever you may need! Hadn't been there in a while, just because I don't go out much why he boys, but we will be back soon!

Fantastic source of everything you might need for the house, yard or shop, and they absolutely excel at customer service.All of the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and SHOW you what you're looking for, instead of just pointing off into the distance! (👉grr..😠)My favorite thing to do here, is to walk in with just a vague idea of some little project I want to accomplish, and walk out with all the little pieces I need to complete it, as well as clear instructions, a few minutes later..Try THAT at one of the big box stores in Bellingham! 😊

My go to for hardware, lawn and Garden, and paint in Lynden. The staff is friendly and will point you in the right direction every time. Doesn’t matter what you are looking for, they know where it is. Pretty decent prices and I can avoid a trip to Home Depot in Bellingham. Plus my kids love saying hi to “typo” the cat next door at the computer place.

Good service but NOT the place to go for tools... everything is marked up 400% to 600%. Go to Tractor Supply. Example...the bare bones wooden smallest hammer they sell is $9.99..the same thing you can get at Dollar Tree for $1.00

Ace is the "Only" place that would order Charlotte foam core 2" pvc for me. Thank You Ace. I also mold my own fishing jig heads , and am a Blackpowder enthusiast and make my own round balls & conical bullets for my Blackpowder guns. With the help of Ace , they order for me 5lb pure plumbers lead ingots another item that not every store carries or wants to order for you, thanks again Ace. Jim

Now for Ace hardware this is one of those places that I go when it's a certain part that I need that maybe home Depot might not carry that they will so Ace hardware does have its benefits for those reasons I might not go there all the time but I still will give that store a five star because the employees there they are amazing if you ever need help and you're in the Lynden area and you need to stop into their store they're always willing to assist you to help find what you need
