I ordered the 1000+ colony from Ken about a 2 weeks or so ago. Great communication on what to expect and instructions during shipping, considering it was during the Arctic temps we had in Tennessee at the time. He waited until a good time to ship to keep the beetles alive, well and warm. Upon arrival they went straight into my enclosure and seemed to be thriving. I followed Ken’s instructions on the enclosure, substrate and prep meal. First skull went in and the beetles are working hard and as expected. In all aspects Ken is easy to work with great communication and so far a fabulous beetle product as described and expected.

Everything about my order was great. Shipping was fast. I made a mistake with my shipping address and Ken was quick to reply to my email and fixed the issue right away. When the beetles arrived they where very active and healthy looking. After a brief exploration of their new home they went right to work on their first job, a small gar fish skull. Ken ran into some issues with his phone and there was a delay in response. I basically thought I had been scammed. After he got his phone squared away the explanation cleared things up. Service turned out to be excellent! He even was watching the weather in the area I live to ensure the beetles would survive the shipping. Thanks! He sent me a good selection of beetles in the various different life stages from adults to eggs. First off thank you Ken for the beetles! I was more than please with my shipment.Anyone looking to purchase Beetles from Ken should feel confident in doing so. When I ordered my Beatles Back in late March they arrived healthy and on time. I definitely received a generous amount of Beetles I assume a hard count of Beetles is hard to do To fulfill orders especially when your ordering in the thousands. I believe I got more beetles than I paid for and was able to start cleaning small game skulls within weeks. The guide that Ken provided with my order is a bible for beetle care. You won’t find detailed information like this throughout your searches online. This guide that was provided for free! saved me a ton of time which also saved me money! Huge perk to the order!**Make sure to do your homework prior to your order**Have all your supplies and beetle housing set up prior to ordering. Be prepared for your beetles when they arrive. After that they are very easy to care for and require really low maintenance in my opinion. ( you wouldn’t want to scramble looking for items after they have arrived)Pull the trigger and purchase with confidence!Thanks again Ken!! I purchased 1500 beetles from ken. I must say that his service and help was extremely genuine and exceptional. The bugs arrived promptly and the colony has been hard at work. Unfortunately i have struggled to get hold of ken with follow up help. This is something in which he said was included with the purchase of a colony however my emails and phone messages have not been returned. Before the purchase his help was wonderful but since then it has been different. Other then that, im happy with the colony.
