Getting pierced by the huge overgrown cactus should have been enough to steer me away. My family and i had been staying 39 minutes down the hill where there was nothing to eat, so we were super hungry, had 3 kids with us. We went in at 655 and i didnt realize that it would be closing in 5 minutes. I asked the hostess if we could get a table and she told me they were closing at 7. I just thought it was terribly rude not to offer a table to us! They lost out on about 80 bucks and the awesome bar across the street made us a table in the back so the kids could come in and eat.

Great options and perfect portion size. Inexpensive and great customer service. The waitress make a special mix of coffee and chocolate for my husband after already making him an extra strong cup of decaf. Walking distance to the Lyle hotel.

This is a great little cafe. I've only been here for breakfast so I can't comment on the lunch, but my son says the burgers are great. Each time I've been in, the service is always friendly and prompt, the coffee is always hot and the food is always great. Sunday mornings they serve prime rib and eggs which is really tasty.

Stopped here on our way to Oregon. Just missed breakfast so had the bacon cheeseburger. The food is fast, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere felt... Like America. Will definitely be back for breakfast on our next trip.

Great atmosphere, great staff, good country feel to it. Breakfasts are all high quality, served quick, hot and fresh. Rose, Destiny and Morgan are all stellar employees that make you feel valued, and that really makes or breaks a place.Would recommend.

I think that the country cafe is a fun place to hang with friends and family. They also serve great food. From what I saw, the pancakes are pretty big. The burgers do taste good and the French fries are great. They also make great hot chocolate.

I'm not sure what I'm missing. I was hoping for better since all these reviews seemed good.First time we went, I my sandwich was nothing but meat and bread, (I believe it was the turkey melt) and the cheese was that plastic slice Kraft kind. Got food poisoning that day.And when I went to the bathroom, the toilet was plugged with poop. So....had to take my food Togo.It's clearly a town favorite. I wish it was a better in cleanliness. I won't be going back.

I always went for breakfast but I'm sure the dinners are awesome too. The service is fast even when the place is crowded and the food is top notch. I can't say enough good things about this place.

I love The Country Cafe in Lyle, WA. I've been eating there since I was a small child. Took my husband there for the first time today and he was impressed with the prices and quality of food and service. This is now our weekly treat.

They offer three types of gravy. Had the turkey gravy and my daughter dipped her fries and chicken strip in it. Yum. And I don't really like gravy, but this was great. Amazing service... as always.

Very friendly. Reasonably priced. I got the french dip. The meat was over cooked and tough but the flavor was good. Going on Sunday for prime rib.

Main reason we drove almost 2 hrs, was no mask mandate. Great conversations supporting conservatives. Excellent Fish and Chips, too. Let's see if Google approves!

Lost my appetite when seeing the sign supporting a racist, pro-Trump/pro-Putin supporter on the front of the place. Freedom of speech is one thing putting it on your business is another. Don't let his "Special Forces" background misguide you. I was in USASOC as well & remember Benedict Arnold was a soldier as well. I won't support ignorance or in Kent's case treason.

It doesn't look like much- the building could use an update. The food was good, the service friendly. No coffee after 2pm - lower mark for this because at 10c a pot, they should have made the coffee for 2 of us.
