One of three groceries on the island, this one is the least pretentious.Petrol is ridiculously priced but you're trapped on the island.Shopping here will remind you that shopping off the island is like having a permanent 50% off sale.The staff is fantastic, humorous, tie-dyed and lovable; there is one who isn't. You'll know her when you see her admonishing customers and staff alike (this makes for really interesting loudspeaker announcements).🙄The deli is hit or miss. If you stand in line at the counter and don't get a smile don't be surprised; you're not a local or they think you're not a local so don't worry about it. The burgers are great. The pizzas are not. They have pint and growler refills but that causes a panic amongst the staff about how (or who) exactly to pour a pint.If you're coming to visit Lopez Island then shop before you come. Financing is not available at Customer Service.

It's the only grocery store on the island, Blossom is more of a health food store and really is in its ownBut then there's also the food bank on Wednesdays, and that has become much more popular over the last couple years.

Wish we would have found this store our first day on the island not the day before we left! Larger selection than most. Some things were a bit pricy but not more than to be expected. Had a decent mix of ingredients and prepared/frozen foods. Our rental didn’t have trashbag, luckily the village market had reasonably priced household things Overall very thankful to have stopped by!

We picked up excellent sandwiches at the deli two days in a row for our hikes around the islands (one at Iceberg Point and the next at Turtleback Mountain). Fresh ingredients and well made we loved them both. The service was great as well - even though we were early in the morning and the deli wasn't even fully set up yet. Thanks Misti!

The market has most anything you need for your stay on Island. Expect to pay more.than off island. The deli selection is pretty good, try a whole pizza or burger & fries, which are made fresh. Both were really tasty. There is a nice variety of fresh baked goods as well, try the giant cookies in the bakery cabinet... delicious!

Very nice medium-small grocery. Definitely smaller than a Safeway, but not tiny. Nice selection of products. Seemed very clean and pretty well laid out. Had a nice hot foods counter as well. Accepts Android Pay. Would shop there again next time I visit.

I frequent this market for all my fruit juices, meats, cheese, yogurt and great sandwiches! They have a great staff and a little bit of every essential item we love to buy. Good Pizza too as well as meatloaf!

If you’re on Lopez you definitely need to try the Lopez Village market it literally is a happening spot the entire town I think it’s the hub of Lopez. There are so many people and everybody was visiting, everyone was nice,food was great, selection was good and cashiers were awesome

Lopez is a magical place, this grosery store is equally magical. After 10 years in the industry of I am quite impressed in the overall quality of this store. Considering how far away they are from actual America, they manage to be quite clever at keeping up on food trends with prices well under what you would pay in seattle. I feel like alot of little buisness here are worth peeking into, but this place has a wonderful deli with a great staff.

In the past 2 months, I have visited the Lopez Village Market 5 times. In all but one, I have seen customers without masks on. More disturbingly, on three of my visits, I have seen employees not wearing any face coverings whatsoever. This indicates a trend of neglecting state public health guidelines. Based on my experience, I am scared to go back to the Lopez Village Market. It feels like their lack of enforcement of public health guidelines, especially among employees, is highly dangerous.

One of the most pleasant supermarkets I've visited and well-stocked, especially for a small island. Unexpected, to be sure, and would return on every visit to Lopez. It was a highlight.

Employees at Lopez Village Market are not complying with state and county business requirements to wear a mask inside public places. They do have posters on both doors: Masks Required For Entry, but the cashiers think they are exempt.  Kaycee, the young woman who served me at checkout, was two feet from my face when I ran my card, and there was no plexiglass between us. When I asked why she wasn't wearing a mask, she said it wasn't required. I told her it is required in buinesses by state and county mandates, but she didn't care. Another male cashier was also serving customers without a mask. Lopez Village Market has been  careless about public safety during Covid-19 all summer, with crowded aisles littered with empty boxes, stockers handling product without gloves or masks, and close interaction from employees not practicing social distancing. I was hoping the new business requirement for masks would make a difference. It hasn't.It is profoundly irresponsible, anti-social behavior by grocery employees to dismiss a requirement of their own business, and jeopardize the health of their customers when asymptomatic carriers are spreading Covid-19 the most. It is safer to take the ferry to Anacortes and shop at Safeway, where all employees comply with mask requirement and also have one-way aisles, than to risk shopping at the only central market on Lopez Island. They simply don't care about the community, the law, and public safety.

If you are looking for the tastiest burger, look no further. Bonnie's inside LVM is the tastiest spot to satisfy your cravings. Thanks to all their super staff that make it the spot it is!
