We're spent a week here at the end of their season. We had the opportunity to enjoy the original restaurant as it was to be torn down and rebuilt for next season. The cabin was decent, and the location was right on the water. There's much to enjoy at the resort from horse shoes, basketball, corn hole, boat rentals, and on and on. The staff was very friendly. Overall, it was an enjoyable time, and I hope to do it again soon.

I loved this resort. We tried to go here on July 3rd at 3 pm, but they were full. We booked day passes online for the next day and came the next day at 10:30am. The beach like shore is so clear and warm and kid friendly. I recommend getting there before 11 am for a good spot! The store has good food and cute souvenirs as well as a few things you might have forgotten. We will visit here again in the future!

It's a warm weekend so we decided to take the kids out to Granite Point resort for a nice day in the water. Our kids always have fun at this resort. They have paddleboards, pedal boats, canoe and kayaks available to rent. They have a nice sandy area for little kids to play in the shallow water and for adults to sit down and just hang out. They also have bench tables around that your party can use for eating if you are planning for a picnic . Clean, quite and relaxing view. Definitely one of our family's favorite spot.

If you enjoy getting bent over this is the place for you, i will never be back. I came to launch my Jet ski with my girlfriend and they tried charging me $45, just to launch. 15 per person, + a $15 resort fee when i wasn’t even going to be at granite point after launching. Imagine coming with 4 people and your boat, You’d be looking at $75 to launch. What an absolute rip off, i don’t know how they sleep at night. I’ll be launching at shore acres from now on.

We had dinner at the restaurant, outside on the deck overlooking the lake. The food, Teriyaki Bowl, was very good...delicious! The salted caramel ice cream cone was fabulous. I want to visit again soon.Nearby activities: The Loon Lake Festival, August 19, was just up the road, 5 minutes north. It was an enjoyable place to spend our Saturday. Lots of vendor booths to look at and good food to purchase. Live music all day.

We can't say enough great things about Granite Point! We had our wedding there and it could not have turned out better! Not only is the location absolutely gorgeous but it was also so convenient that our out-of-town guests could rent out cabins or bring their RVs. The team at the resort was so incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process and the entire weekend too. We're forever grateful for all of their help in making our day absolutely perfect. Our guests still haven't stopped raving about how much fun they had and how wonderful the resort was too! 10/10 would recommend and we can't wait to come back and visit in the future!

Had a blt for lunch that was very good, server was very attentive and did a good job. Prices were reasonable and the view was great. It's a walk to the restroom, but no big deal.Nearby activities: Beach on Loon LakeFood & drinks: Everything was enjoyableNoteworthy details: If you are just there to eat in the restaurant tell them and parking is free.

Lots of sand to spread out and not feel crowded. Kids loved playing in water. They enjoyed jumping off the dock into the water. Only negative was on the dock, they had to watch where they walked as it was extremely full of bird poop. This made wanting to jump off dock not very enjoyable. But rest of facility and accommodations for a day pass was great

Wedding photography takes me to many unique venues + gorgeous views... exactly what Granite Point provided for a wedding I shot there in June 2022!! My clients chose to get married on the shores of the lake they grew up visiting, and the venue certainly didn't let us down. Their wedding ceremony was right on the private beach, and the reception was held on the lawn across the beach from gorgeous boat docks, perfect water, and mountain sunset views.I highly recommend Granite Point to any other couples looking for the perfect Inland Northwest getaway for their wedding celebration.

**My review is solely for the beach because that's all I came for**If you're wondering which resort to visit on loon lake, this is it! You won't regret it.Access was good, with both a ramp and stairs. Relatively mellow atmosphere, very clear water, and the dock is in good condition. There's a diving board on the deep end of the dock as well. There is plenty of seating and changing rooms right at the beach. I loved that the sand slopes evenly into the lake, there's no crazy dropoff, mushy ground, or seaweed underfoot in the main swimming area. My only issue was how far away the restrooms are- all the way up the hill and not exactly convenient when you've got little kids. If you want a beach that feels like California, this is it.

The beach was beautiful and the amenities were great, but the price was a bit much ($40 for 2 adults and 1 child) and the staff was rude (the tall blond specifically). We paid for our passes and went to see our friends that were camping in an RV. When we were entering the parking area she flagged us down like we had breached a government facility. She says, matter of fact and rudely, "I check people in and I didn't check you in!" I politely said we did check in earlier today and our sticker was very noticeable mind you, but she swears she didn't see it. Yes we drive an older car, but yes we can afford to go to the lake. We are good honest people and she made my husband feel super uncomfortable. Otherwise, our son had a great time, the water was nice and overall it was a pleasant day.

The staff at the Cafe were excellent and friendly. The food was delicious. Was visiting from Texas. Will return. One recommendation is to update the pedal boats. It was difficult to maneuver. Everything else was great!!

Booked an RV spot a couple days before Memorial Day weekend. One of the last spots available. Customer service was great, friendly interactive staff. The RV spots were packed in close together, but I kind of expected that. There was also limited maneuvering room to get in and out of the space. Not impossible, but it was tight. Great beach access and lawn areas. All our kids are grown up, but we noted that this would be the perfect place to bring children. A large spacious swimming area protected from boat traffic, playground, basket ball court, etc. Options to rent paddle boats and small fishing boats with oars, plus a fishing dock. There is a boat ramp and slips available for people with boats (for day use customers and people staying in cabins). There is food available for purchase, a store, and adult beverages. It was a great getaway weekend.

Lovely park, lots of cabins but plenty of space. We saw abundant wildlife, birds and water creatures, there's a neat little park for the kids and lots of sandy beaches with gently sloping swim areas. Everything is clean and tidy and evenings are calm and quiet.

My family of 5 came here every year and loved it. Now that it took on new ownership the prices are just sick! Have not been back and will not ever... have since found much Much cheeper places to enjoy the water. It's unfortunate that this once wanderful nostalgic place has been taken over by money hungry owners.

Super expensive. $15 per adult for a daily picnic fee on the weekends. Bathrooms are up a very long, fairly steep path from the beach. Unless you rent a cabin, which is also pretty expensive, it isn't a great place for working class large families. Be better if they charged $15 per car, 3 people or less. And the website isn't accurate or updated. Its $12 per adult during the week.

It's quite pricey to get in but it's worth the manicured beaches and lack of giant crowds. Be aware you're going to have to trek to use any bathroom as it's up a pretty steep hill and to the back. Otherwise it's a fun day spot.

Fantastic resort for the entire family! There's a combination of residents and day guests at this fun lakeside destination with cabins to rent. It reminds me of the many resorts that existed in the fifties and sixties that you only see in the movies now. Lots of sandy beach to play in and buy ice cream at the resort store. Love this place. I bring my family every summer!

A magical place for making memories with family and friends. Where the stresses and concerns of daily life melt away leaving I my what matters: being happy and healthy. Come play for a day or noon a week for your family. You will be very glad you did !!

Lake front is nice. Kid enjoyed the diving pier. Had a pretty bad problem with gnats. Would bring a candle with you to keep bugs away. Rentals are affordable. Fishing was pretty good as well. I suggest showing up early because they get pretty busy.

Was over priced as a wedding venue ,I believe! They provide nothing other than thier space! Must provide even lighting apparently as they didn't come on and only after the guest decided to leave did they finally offer " oh we have to turn them on!" They should have known they were needed as it was an evening wedding and people dancing. Also not per friendly at all and we had to clean entire cabins ( must rent in addition too not part of package) the cabins were old fashion not modern but lots of beds. It was average not dirty or awful. Just not worth what is paid for usage esp. Day use!!

It is a nice resort/lodge/campground with a nice beach that has fine sand with little to no rocks, which make it a favorite for the kids to go swimming. It has a boat launch and 3 docks as well, 2 for boats and one for fishing. The only downsides are that it can get really busy because its the only place people can come and swim semi-publicly (it costs 10$ per adult and 5 per kid under 13 because the lake isnt public). The fishing is fantastic as well, Large fish, tons of bites, the water is rarely ever calm during the day, so for good fishing rent a cabin and get at the good fishing hours before and after people are out on the water.
