The absolute best store in Longvew. Andrew was the check out guy when I bought my groceries on Wednesday. He was professional, polite, and amazing. I love our OB Safeway store. I don't shop anywhere else.

Safeway...is expensive and understaffed but deliberate and my experience is always good......they also have very fast wifi that covers their entire property. It is appreciated.You know , I find myself shopping at Safeway more and more and I think its because the produce is great and the staff are great and the bakery is sweet but the seedless grapes are always good.

I love to stop in between work shifts to grab a bite for lunch. I love the French bread. Thank you for keeping the restrooms open. The Safeway on 15th street has installed a keypad. I no longer give that store my business

I prefer 15th ave. Here's why; Ocean beach is horrible. It smells bad often, like bad fish. Poor quality. I even Took pictures of their produce. I brought it to the store managers attention. He said ever since Albertsons bought out safeway hours cut, store downhill! Oh brother! RIP OFF!

I hit up a lot of Safeways in a lot of different towns and so far this has, by far, the friendliest staff! If I didn't live 90 minutes away I'd do my grocery runs here!

I ordered a Thanksgiving meal here this year. Upon going in everyone in store including the customers seem to be very polite and happy considering it was extremely busy. Lots of people at the deli counter , but everyone was helped quickly. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Thank you Safeway deli staff. You made my Thanksgiving day much easier.

Just there tonight about 615pm....one cashier for a store full of customers. I waited patiently in line for about 20 minutes and finally got fed up when I saw the manager helping bag groceries instead of opening another register. Not all of us can physically do self check out. I finally yelled out..why don't you open another register? He yelled back that he didn't have enough people and he had to let the cashier leave. So..because i guess I upset him for speaking up, he moved really slow and then miraculously found a cashier to take his place when it was my turn. I didn't continue complaining after he yelled back to me.... I just waited another 25 minutes before he slinked away. I gave a 2 star review because it's not the cashiers fault that he had her working during a busy time all by herself. I spend lots of money at Safeway and don't usually comment, but his behavior was ridiculous and unprofessional. He saw us all waiting and could have made a comment to all of us in the long line.

For some reason, I'd have to say I like this Safeway the best. Between the Longview/Kelso ones, the staff here have been friendlier and more willing to help. I had to wait for about 3-4 minutes while the person in the meat department was on the phone, but she was super nice, and I apologized for my wait when she was done. At one of the other Safeways, I ended up not getting what I wanted while 2 workers stood there and chatted. Thanks Safeway on OB for your dedication to good service.With the holidays here this place is so busy. The staff have been awesome at asking if I'm finding what I need.

The Ocean Beach Safeway is a very nice store.The store is clean, orderly and well stocked with general merchandise and a lot of specialty items.We visited the Deli, with an unusual request, and the staff was very accommodating. They went above & beyond our expectations, and because of that, we'll be going back more often. Their customer service was exemplary.Thank you, to the early morning Deli staff! You made our day!Oh, and their Fried Chicken is addicting, juicy and delicious!To the store manager, I say, please recognize and acknowledge your hard working & dedicated employees for the assets they are. It'll go a long way and will make their day!

This is a good grocery store. I appreciate Safeway for its good service and good products, including store brand items. I especially like the deli. The salads, chicken strips, jojoes, and Chinese food are among the best in Longview and at the best prices, especially on Fridays (sales day).

This is uncalled for and rude. Me and my brother were casually shopping when we're heard a security check noise play. We didn't think twice of it and continued to shop. Then another one, security check to the back of the store. Again, keep shopping. Then we got to the front and we were planning to sit down and wait for school to open, but we were meeted by a security guard who told us to leave without any explanation as to why. We didn't shoplift, we didn't solicit, we weren't bothering anyone. We were just escorted out.

I purchased 2 packages of chicken on the just4u offer of 0.87 per pound. One package gave me the offer, the other didn't. I am sick and tired to the point of stores not following through with their advertised ad, that I am going to forgo mentioning it to the store and just report it to the state. With three stores in the Longview area, the amount lost by consumers has to be in the tens of thousands of dollars over the course of the week. Keep in mind that this is the company that says it will benefit the consumer by Albertsons and Kroger merging! I am also going to forward my complaint to politicians and consumer activists of my complaint.

One particular cashier is extremely rude and insensitive to customers, intentionally being loud and making a scene about them using FOOD STAMPS when a customer couldn't pay for everything and asked for it to be suspended so they could adjust the items they wanted to put back. Larger man, i won't be going to his register ever again if that's how he treats customers on low income.

I realize everywhere is stretched thin from employees to merchandise to inflation and so on, the deli always comes thru and never fails to have a good quality of food but also really great employees. Wth why is there never stuff on the shelves raised prices and have to buy 4 or 5 of 1 thing to get coupon!!!

Safeways ALWAYS have a sign for much cheaper gas price than what they actually charge you even if you pay with their rewards card and this one was no different. This is fraud and is illegal but somehow they continue to get away with it. They are banking for people being blind and too lazy to pay attention and it works. But they are evil for robbing people.

I really like ordering my grocery pickup orders here because you have a range of hours for pickup vs. an hour time slot. With that being said, some of their "personal" shoppers don't make good selections on produce and would rather say things are unavailable vs substituting. Also review your electronic receipt before pickup to ensure that you get sale prices. I have had to call and have them correct several times on meat (which was a big difference). It's easier for them to correct before you get there and you can confirm.

Great service, cordial, and fast. Everything I did was at customer service and the experience was great! She (as always) was excellent and helpful. I was doing 5 western union transactions, and she always makes it pretty painless. I've been helped by many others, but never does it go as smooth!

Defiantly do not like shopping here they are understaffed. While some stores carry that shopping is a necessity they make it harder by cramming every together so it takes twice the time ie. People that shop for natural foods have to sift Through all food to good items. Very frustrating 😕

The employers and their friendly staff give you respect while shopping in their store where the shelves are always stacked fully and organized in their clean environment. I love how their produce has the freshest produce and how they have a pharmacy easily ready to help their customer out. Last bit not least they have a gas station and plenty of secure parking. I love Safeway with their down to earth be style it makes shopping feel like a part of home.

My boyfriend went to Safeway on Ocean Beach to get ice cream, grapes, and milk the minute he walked into the store one of the employees called security over the loudspeaker, and then after a couple of minutes the security lady was following him around the store so much that he checked out before he was doneAfter checking out and buying two scratch tickets he noticed that the same security lady was following him out of the store.after the way, he was treated Matthew will never shop at that Safeway again how rude!! Shame on you Safeway. I hope you don't treat all your customers like that.

Ok, my mind is blown! This Safeway was probably the worst Safeway ever!!! I’m 45 years old with a broken back I walk slow and move even slower. They had a guy follow me around the store. Not once asking me if I needed help. But just watching me. Then when I got to the register Ranee my clerk was the braking point. She didn’t greet me. Instead the only words she said to me was “paper or plastic?”and “Do you want the pie in a bag?” Then I had to ask my total and when I got my change back she shoved it into my hands. She talked gossip to the other cashiers she even talked to the customer after me ! But she did not even say have a good evening! It’s no wonder why this store is alway empty!!!
