I went in, knowing that Petco is not the greatest place for fish. The conditions of their tanks are horrible. Most of their tanks are so full of crud on the glass. You can’t see in them, you got dead fish floating around with other ones eating on them.

Jordyn did an absolutely amazing job on grooming my dog Rosy, who is a shorthaired Chihuahua. Rosy smells amazing. Jordyn did a great job filing down her nails, and my dog left much happier than when she went in :)

It took a very long time for them to help me in the fish section I was told I would be helped in a couple minutes after waiting about 15 minutes and seeing a employee walk to the reptile section and going back and forth over there I finally had to walk over to her and ask for help in the fish section she then helped me and was very helpful, friendly, fast and efficient it just kinda sucked having to wait so long after I was told I would be helped very shortly

Our experience at Petco was great we purchased a pet Parakeet bird and one of the floor techs ..Wayne..was amazing and very professional by providing us with the best customer service we've experienced..I'd definitely recommend this place for purchases and pets!

The groomers did a great cut on Dawg (Poodle mix) and a shampoo and comb out (ton of hair!!) on Daisy (Shepard).And they both smell amazing and SO soft!! ❤️❤️❤️

I had a difficult time finding reusable dog diapers for my puppy that just started her heat cycle. The employee that I ask assistance from seemed bother by me disrupting him although he did take t=me to the appropriate aisle.

Friendly service ! Not always the fastest but for the most part friendly. Their computer system needs upgraded , the wait at the register due to the computer is and can be very frustrating to everyone.Knowledgeable about their products , have an awesomeness return program ( for most things, if it’s something that needs an approval from their Manager good luck , I’ve waited almost a year now… First 6 months he was gone on vacation multiple times and is never available when he is in the store and if by chance you get to speak to him he doesn’t seem to be very happy… I finally gave up and am stuck with a broken light fixture for my reptile…

Love that you can bring your dog in the store. They basically can pick there own toy and try the snack bar to see if your dog even likes it. A little spendy, but aren't they all.

Wow, this store needs a lot of work. The employees were fine, no complaints there, it's just that they were so low in stock on everything I was looking for. I needed basic puppy supplies for a short haired dog, so that included looking for sweatshirts or coats and there was so little to choose from. It was totally not worth going. This is my second time in this store and it was the same the first time which is why I finally decided to go ahead and write a review because it's just ridiculous. They had plenty of food options for dogs, but all other accessories were lacking. You're much better off just buying online unless you need something. Absolutely that day, and then you just better hope they have it because most likely they won't unless it's food.

I needed litter box mats and had been looking for a sturdy cat tree off and on for a couple months. A cat tree that met my needs in my preferred color was on display, along with a shorter one I had been looking for as well. I bought the taller tree and it is 100% approved by my cat family.

Shop online and pick it up in the store. Super friendly associates were extremely helpful when we came to pick up our items. They had alternate ideas and let us add stuff to our check out. My most handsome got a new scratching post.

Love this place! Employees are super helpful; selection is almost always plentiful and well displayed. Went in there once to get dog food that was pretty scarce during a shortage, and an employee literally dug to the bottom of a pallet in the back room for me and brought out their last bag. I'll say it again, I love this place!

Employees like to follow you as if you're going to steal from a Petco. (I don't doubt that some people do).But it's beyond annoying watching the same employee pace back and forth down both aisles staring down your aisle.Especially annoying when your only in the dog food aisles also.

The employees are nice. They took time to answer questions and suggest good products. We did the self groom for our dog. For $10 they provide you space, apron, brush, towels, conditioner, and dryer.

Marked down because manager Ashley was disrespectful, raised her voice, and told me I was being "whiny and rude" for asking her to honor a promotion that was clearly marked as "available in store".Store manager Wayne was very helpful and did make things better when my husband called later. He was kind and respectful and willing to hear our story. Some of the staff here does need better training, but it's good to know that someone higher up does care enough to make things right.

What is wrong with the people who work here?!?!! OMG, they need to be charged with animal abuse/ neglect! I will never go there again! Shut this place DOWN!!Pet rats were eating each other, reptiles are FREEZING, they don't have the correct lighting, half of the beta dishes were DEAD!And the kitties up front, I know they aren't a part of Petco, but if Petco is showing them, they DO have some responsibility. #1. They are Sick #2. Nobody knows anything about them, get your employees some info!! Why are they inside YOUR STORE, but you know nothing about them, and whoever DOES KNOW, won't answer/ call back. They need better care! Who looks into this? Humane society? Business bureau? Someone needs to be informed. If you read this, don't shop there until they get it cleaned up. A great example of a Petco is in Warrenton, OR. Clean, healthy pets! Great store, knowledgeable employees, a real day vs night compared to Longview Wa store

If you ask to buy some fish they get the sickly ones for you (ones swimming sideways or laying on the bottom), even if you are standing right next to them. You have to ask them to replace them with healthier ones (ones swimming mid-water or the ones swimming at the top, ones being active). They also often have fish graveyards such as these. I took this pic while I was there.

Whenever I need help with finding something because the items are moved around in the store, they are always willing to help. I've been shopping here for 20 years, so they know me and always greet me with a hello! They're friendly and helpful.
