These folks were amazing with my “nervous Normans” of pups.My dogs are anxious and had never been to a groomer. They were kind and caring. And still managed to get my boys squeaky clean!!On top of all that, I was amazed at what reasonable prices they have.Thank you for a great experience

This is such a great place! My puppy really enjoyed her time there. The staff is so nice and understanding (I called numerous times to check on my baby and they were pleasant and understanding evertime) we will definitely be using them more often!

Super glad I found this place! They have treated my pup so amazingly. They squeezed us in when I showed up on the wrong day, already had a relationship with my adopted dog which made her coming in way less stressful and the vibe is super dope. If I ever had to doggy day care I definitely feel like she would be completely safe and happy. I also LOVE whatever they add after she is bathed, it just makes me wanna take her home and cuddle her all night. Thank you all for being so awesome!

So far so good, this was my first time at this groomer, both my dogs did well with the staff, reception was pleasant, friendly and informative, gave me hours of operation and wrote everything down for me. Nail clipping was finished quickly. My dogs were happy and fine after, not like another place I tried that left my dogs scared to return for future nail trimmings. I will go back here to see how future services go.

Have only used them for grooming. Clean. Very kind. Have been happy with the grooming they did. Our dog was nervous going the first time but has never had a problem since.

Not new to this business so they know me and my dogs - been taking dogs there for over 10 years. Not sure what has changed but I'm consistently put on hold and no call back when I leave message. They've got more than they can handle. Sad to see businesses buckle under and fail to provide service. Other options out there.

Service was good and they had very nice store with clean kennel area and dog runs. Lucy only had a wash and nail trim. I asked for de shedding but all she got was brushed. I guessed I didn’t communicate what I needed very well. Over all is was nice. Be sure to bring copy of vaccination.

This was my second time here.I didn’t love the first haircut my dog received, butI decided to give a second try - as I know we all have off days.I was not impressed again.To start, it was really upsetting that I had to call sometime after 3:30 pm (10:30am drop off) to see if they’d forgotten to call me. They said my dog had ready to go for over an hour and my phone kept going to voicemail when they called... but no one left a voicemail. (& my phone never rang!)Then, I was told that my dog had high anxiety and they couldn’t do her nails. I asked them to use the drummel & I offered to drive down and assist them. Between myself and 2 employees, they were able to clip her nails (they didn’t drummel as requested!) & It was a very traumatic time for my 14 year old dog.We were frazzled and ready to get out of there.Got home and got to really look at her haircut and was really disappointed. It looks like whoever took care of my dog was in a hurry because even though I specifically asked for a tidy up (feet feathers, butt tufts & other long random hairs) she is still straggly. Her butt tufts don’t even look like they got touched and her feet feathers are still pretty wild.The reason I’m so upset is because after all that — I got charged $60 (highest price I’ve ever paid to get my 33# collie bathed and tidied up) And it’s a mediocre job at best.I am not normally one to complain - but after giving a second shot and being completely let down, I feel the need to share my experience. The staff should/could have educated me that the prices raised before hand. Instead of leaving me blindsided assuming it was the same as the first time. I understand they’re busy, but in 14 years of getting my dog groomed, I’ve never had to assist with her nails like I did yesterday. It was not a good experience. I’m disappointed because this place is a part of our community and really close to my home, but I don’t feel like I am heard when I express my dogs needs..I do not see any reason to keep frequenting this establishment.

I work with these guys in multiple different ways. 1) I am a client. My dogs board here when we are on vacations, they've had baths and nail trims and we also use the daycare option from time to time. WE LOVE THEM. Our dogs are always well taken care of, happy and healthy when we pick them up. I can count on one hand the number of people I'd leave my pets this. HH is one of them.2) I am a local, professional dog trainer. Many of my clients are also clients of Healthy Hound. I've gotten tons of great feedback from my clients about their experience at Healthy Hound. I also love that anytime there's an issue at HH with one of our shared client dogs (because dogs are dogs and things happen) the staff contacts me about it immediately so I can do what I can to help address it. Sometimes that even means that they bring me in to see firsthand what's going on and if possible, I am able to intervene and work with the dog right there on the spot. This of course is only if the dog in question is already a client of mine as well and after I have contacted the owner on my end.The staff is friendly, thorough and professional. This is the only daycare/boarding facility in Cowlitz County that I recommend.

I'm a bit confused about the process when you make an appointment 8 weeks out to gey my dog groomed and my dog is groomed last??? I think better decision could be made. I'm disappointed about that but other than that it is a great place to do business with.

My Daughter took one of our Saint Bernards, Kona in after she was turned down at several other places due to her size and extreme anxiety about being groomed. She had a traumatic experience at a different groomers when she was a puppy causing her to be extremely afraid of being groomed. We have tried everything!!! This was our last effort before having to have her IV sedated as she was getting mats behind her ears and on her rear. If she even saw a brush or a pair of scissors she would run away from you. It took her going to Healthy Hound three times before she would finally allow them to groom her. They were so patient and so kind to my sweet Saint. I highly recommend them and I have already told everyone I know how amazing they are. Our sweet Kona will now be a customer for life. Money wasn’t a huge concern as we would have paid pretty much anything at this point to have her groomed but honestly the prices were more than fair as well. Thank you!

We lodged our lab “Jack” overnight last month and were very satisfied with his stay. The staff were attentive and friendly. I was more than satisfied with his bath and nail trimming. Great experience!

We have only used their grooming service but they are so helpful and sweet to my pup, I’m sure I’ll eventually kennel her there too. Gipsy (hopefully I’m spelling that right) is really great, I have yet to see a little cut on my dog and that shows patience and care.

I have been taking my pup there since March (he was 5 months old). He is always excited to go.However, we decided to stop taking him. For the last month he comes home, and he is scared of us (not like him at all) and has been puking more in the car on the way home (we’ve had him driving around in the car with us since he was 8 weeks old and he has never got car sick).At first we thought that maybe he was tired and didn’t immediately stop taking him. But when he but he continued to come home acting scared of us. Not his usual tired from playing around with other dogs. It takes us days to get our happy, energetic puppy back, from the scared one we have been getting home.
