I actually mean 0 stars....I was having a problem getting a perscription filled the pharmacy said my insurance denied the med. So I call my insurance & an agent comes on says it is covered. So he does a three way call, me, him and safeway pharmacy manager. The manager was so rude to my agent and wouldn't cooperate so I could get my prescription that I desperately needed, saying she didn't have time to make a call she wasn't gonna do it. So I am pulling all my scripts and taking them to a different pharmacy.

They are so slow it’s actually amazing. I mean one employee will hold up the line for like 20 minutes for one customer in a state of confusion. It’s almost like they don’t hire people with customer service inexperience or with a lack of understand that being hung up with one customer while there are 15 people in line shouldn’t happen. The incompetence is remarkable. Currently in line for 10 minutes and they’re still working with the very first customer. WOW!

Extremely rude people in the pharmacy. Not customer oriented at all. I will be moving mine and my family's prescriptions another pharmacy ASAP, even if it means driving way out of town.

They are showing up to work to fill our prescriptions! Thank you. 5 stars for the employees, 1 star for corporate management. Why isn’t Safeway providing gloves and masks for their employees (pharmacists and checkers)? Is it even possible that none of the employees will catch the virus without protective covering with all the people going through the store? Leavenworth has many visitors from foreign countries and Seattle; this virus is extremely contagious. And if Safeway is not taking care of their employees, they aren’t taking care of their customers.Fyi, the pharmacy phone order system isn’t working (3 times the system validated our order and the pharmacy had no record of it), so now we just speak to a pharmacist. When the phone system validates the order, even going so far as telling us the date it will be ready, obviously everything on our end was completed and it's being received somewhere in the Safeway pharmacy system. It's not Localtel telling us the date our prescription will be ready. I would prefer not to bother them, but easy enough to speak to a pharmacist.

If I could give a lower review I absolutely would. My family switched to Leavenworth safeway pharmacy simply for the convenience of where we live (we hugely regret it). The women behind the counter are rude and consistently seem annoyed that we are even there. They are snappy, insensitive. On numerous occasions we have had important medications that we have showed up for that were supposed to be ready, they said they have no clue about it. We would call the prescribing doctor or ER and they would tell us a different story, so we would call the pharmacy back and suddenly the story has changed and they now suddenly have whatever it was that we needed. absolutely the worst pharmacy ever. Something needs to change.

Not sure if I'm missing something but why aren’t the Safeway pharmacists in Leavenworth wearing masks? Aren’t they pretty likely, due to their line of work, to encounter ill and immunocompromised people all day every day? Regardless of their personal beliefs, aren’t masks kinda standard nowadays for healthcare workers?

The pharmacy staff is consistently rude to both myself and my girlfriend, while trying to pick up a medication that I desperately need I was sent to the Wenatchee Safeway which in itself is okay, however when I arrived at the Wenatchee Safeway I was told a different story than what the Leavenworth Safeway told me. The Wenatchee pharmacy was out of the prescription I went there to pick up, so I had to wait 2 days to find out that the Leavenworth Safeway didn't have the prescription that they told me they would have and I would have to wait another day (from experience now I'm guessing it will be longer), to pick it up. My girlfriend is treated rudely here as well, on many separate occasions, we will be switching to Village Pharmacy downtown...

Dear God the women who work here are rude and try to be as unhelpful as possible. I am consistently surprised that they are allowed to treat the people of Leavenworth so poorly. I'm guessing it starts at the top and filters down to all of the workers. Someone needs to oversee this department and make some changes.

They do not call the doctor or patient with any problems. The assistant flat out lied about their policy regarding meds not covered by insurance. Medication not in stock is not reported untill you physically try and pick up.

I've been using the pharmacy app to order my medications and I've been charged three times for the same order and this is the third time this is happened so I called the app technical support and they told me the pharmacy processes the orders and payment and now I have to wait until tomorrow when a manager is in after my account was overdrawn by $90 cuz they're holding extra money for the same order I'm going to get my prescriptions somewhere else this is ridiculous
