Well stocked with a lot of options, had everything we needed before headed out to our cabin. The prices seem higher than any other grocery stores, but this is pretty much your only option in Leavenworth. Last thing, the sell by date on the sandwich I bought was the day before I bought it, didn't catch it until I got to the cabin.

The store is designed in traditional Bavarian style like all other buildings in town. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. I found gas prices a bit cheaper at Safeway gas station that makes the grocery store is even attractive.

Cleanest Safeway I've been in. I could actually smell the departments.. Flower Dept smelled lovely, of fresh flowers. Butcher area DIDN'T stink of stale fish. Bakery smelled of fresh bread, Deli aroma like dinner. Everything is here you'd expect in a super store. Pharmacy, cards, wines, DVD rental. wide aisles.

Love this Safeway absolutely dislike the Starbucks short hours lol when they are closed you have to go to the one in town and you may be waiting for literally hours there some days. So Safeway 5 stars lol Starbucks 4 stars cause we need longer hours lol

Just got home from my drive up & go pick up. None of my substitution reviews were honored. I approved about half of them on the so called Safeway App...which is freaking horrible. However, I was unpleasantly surprised that all the substitutions made it home with me even though I didn't approve them. Who substitutes Romano for Mozzarella?!! The order pick up used to be nice, but it's gone down hill drastically. Always late or behind even if I order 12 + hrs. in advance, sometimes they forget bags and I have to drive another 40 minutes round trip to retrieve items. Today, the guy who brought out my groceries didn't want to input my ID himself, so he handed me the device and asked me to do it. The lack of customer service is crazy. I'd rather pay higher prices from Martin's than give Leavenworth Safeway any more of my money.

This is a nice Safeway. You don't find them this clean usually. The service is excellent they take pride in their job. And that makes the difference. And the employees are eager to help you in any way. I give this store a 4.75 Stars. And that is the best rating I'll give a store like that. The only problem I have with these stores these days. Are the prices are going Sky High. I know it's not the stores fault. But hurts my pocket book ...

Stopped in in the middle of the day to grab some sandwiches but the grab and go shelves were nearly bare. Decided to have some deli meat cut instead to make our own but we’re ignored at the counter. When someone finally acknowledged us, she wasn’t able to actually do anything and asked us to wait for someone else.

The root vegetables were in surprising good condition considering the local market for them. And they had some lovely orchids. Selections on different Asian sauces was a little on weak side but to be expected in a Bavarian themed town.

Just got into town last night and needed toothbrushes that our boys forgot. Store wasn’t crowded but there were employees stocking on the aisle we needed, I felt I was politely trying to wait and get what I needed and get out of the way. I was met with total rudeness, and a big dramatic eye roll for trying to shop. I was so annoyed leaving this store that I do not plan to return. That just isn’t how you treat a customer.

Hot food section needs a new manager. Every time I come in there is an excuse as to why they can’t make a fresh sandwich. Tonight’s was “they are closed.” Yesterday’s breakfast excuse was “they don’t have the staff” while 5 of them were behind the counter. Do better Safeway.

They guy in the deli refused to make me a FRESH BURRIOT for breakfast even though the menu said fresh and to pick out what we want. and just walked away from us. I've worked in the deli at safeway and that's not okay. Wasn't busy or anything. Totally rude. Not happy at all. Get it together

Deli selection was horrible at 5:45 pm. When else do people eat dinner? I guess the rest of the store was fine. I mean, it's a Safeway. Pretty much like any other Safeway. To clarify re: Safeway response, deli was not closed, but it might as well have been. There was some fried chicken, but the oriental combo section had scraping left that looked like they'd been there for hours, and sandwich fixins looked about the same. I was in town for the weekend, so it was a one and done. I don't need to contact Safeway for a resolution.

It's very nice having a old familiar face in Leavenworth to buy groceries to stock up your hotel room while you are on vacation. I've been to this Safeway many many times and you get a Safeway experience each and every time and that's a good thing.

We often stop here when in Leavenworth. There's a Safeway gas station out front, and the restrooms are pretty well kept. We almost always find what we're looking for in the store.

Consistently dirty floors and restrooms, produce is bad on the shelves or goes bad in 2 days, often out of staples like milk and eggs, higher prices than Fred Meyer and other comparable grocery stores (especially meat). The three times we got milk here, it went bad weeks before the expiration date even though we live 5 minutes away and go through milk rather quickly. But the staff seem friendly and hard working.

We visited this store multiple times on our vacation to Leavenworth. Helpful and cheerful staff. Clean store with everything you could need and more. Except for eggs, but that wasn't their fault. They somehow became more precious than diamonds in Washington State.

This Safeway is always super clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If you are local, avoid Friday after 2 and all day Saturday! Long lines of tourists lead to overwhelmed employees (not their fault!) 😀

This store does NOT “jack up” prices just because they are in a tourist location. Gas and groceries were a great price. We always get something from the deli when we are camping so we have one less meal to cook. They have a wide variety and we have been able to buy items we forgot at home.

Even the Safeway is Bavarian themed! Great chain grocery here in Leavenworth. Lots of fresh produce, organics and everything you'll need.

I've stopped at this Safeway pretty much every other time I get to get out of the Puget Sound area over the years.Much better than the Safeway stores on the west side of the mountains. Quality of produce is better along with most of the prices I saw. Employees and shoppers nice and courteous :)

I think this is one of the nicer Safeway stores I've been in. Very clean, didn't seem to be many out-of-stock items, not too busy.

Very good customer service! They always ask if they can find something for me. Which is awesome, because the layout of this store is new to me. Well I guess, actually it's me that is new, not the store. When I get to Leavenworth, it's my first stop now. Fruits and vegetables are in great shape! Also the deli and most importantly the bakery is really good! When I visit my family in the area, I follow the family tradition, that I bring cookies. I try not to bring the same ones all the time. So we have tried a few flavors. Some of them would have been so, much better, if they did not have so many, many sprinkles. The red velvet and white chocolate cookies were a hit. The chocolate candies in the cookies are also a favorite. We ordered a red velvet cake for Moms Birthday party and it went quick too! Cream cheese frosting was an interesting choice, for red velvet cake. Mom was really happy with it, so thank you Safeway bakery crew!
