Cute gifts, stocking stuffers, clothes (very well made high quality), cards, espresso, bakery deliciousness, toys, and of course hardware.And my favorite of any store, the clearance area 😆🤣!

This is "The Place" in Plain! It was hopping on Saturday morning with the Farmer's Market outside. The hardware part of the store has whatever you need for around the house but the front has some great merchandise and a coffee and snack bar. They're friendly too. Awesome stop!

The main reason why I came in here was to get coffee. This is an amazing store. There is a ton of stuff inside and the coffee is really good! Baked items are good too, staff was very friendly.

2023: it great to have a fully functioning hardware store near by. You just need to work thru the coffee crowds and tourist gifts to get into the rear.

I was doing an upholstery job at one of the Love Leavenworth cabins and realized I needed something I didn't have. I was afraid that maybe I was going to have to drive all the way back to Wenatchee but fortunately Plain Hardware had exactly what I needed.I wasn't sure when I first walked in if I was in the right place, there is so much going on in that building.Fortunately someone who works there saw me looking around and asked if there was anything they could help me with. It didn't take long before I was on my way to finish my job.Thank you Plain Hardware

GREAT store! Wonderful and friendly staff. We were looking for XC ski equipment and the Madshus Factory Rep told us that Plain Hardware would have everything in stock. We're thinking a 'hardware store would have ski equipment?' First impressions - very cool nice tourist destination/store with strong local ties to the community and a hardware/lumber store (and not seeing any ski equipment). Little did we know that the store transforms in the winter. The owner (Rob) asked if we needed any help, so we asked the 'do you have any XC ski equipment?' The smile on his face was HUGE. It was a HOT 90+ degree day in July and we wanted ski equipment. He brought us to the storage areas and showed us EVERYTHING! We couldn't find ANY of it online, so it was like kids in a candy store - but we didn't have any restrictions and could feel/try stuff on. He spent a couple hours with us, introduced us to his staff. Let's just say we came home with almost everything we needed to start racing this winter (boots/skis/poles/all sorts of clothing). Rob also has some of the BEST looking clothing. The cafe has some great food/desserts and coffee. Definitely worth a visit!

We love this shop! ❤️ every time I visit the area I always stop in for a coffee, treat and to check out all the cute stuff they have to sell! I love the atmosphere and the people are so helpful and friendly. I also love the farmers market, even if there are only a few vendors, they are totally worth the stop. Also check out any events or activities they have going on, so fun to be a part of the community when we are around.

Plain Hardware is much more than a lumber yard or place to grab a coffee. It caters to all things fun. Gear to float the river in the summertime and cross country skiing and snow shoeing in the wintertime.The clothing and merchandise in the store is high quality and unique.This store is a place people gather and chat as well as to meet and make new acquaintances.The owners and employees have become friends of ours.As a business man I admire any business who employs local people and keeps them employed with constant work.This is a great place to visit for fun and at the same time help the community of Plain.

This quaint shop is so unique. From hardware to gifts, clothing, ski rentals and superb espresso/drinks. It's a one stop shop! Such a gem. The employees are super nice and helpful. The owner is extremely helpful and very personable. Absolutely love this shop!

Wonderful coffee, great chili, amazing gifts, and exceptional employees. With ski trails in the winter and hot food year round... What more could be asked? Oh hardware, well they have plenty of that and more, really is an all around great establishment. Helpful every time, and I always get what I need.

One of my favorite shops! We never miss a visit when in the area. Love their selection of high quality gifts and home decor, and they have excellent specialty drinks. Try their Italian sodas! I hear they have a great selection of tools and hardware - but as a tourist that's not my reason for visiting!

This is the best coffee I've had traveling the Eastern side of the Cascade mountains for the past 2 weeks. The store is adorable as well and contains not just a selection of hardware but a variety of other things a person and a small town might need.

Highly recommended for cross-country skiing lessons!! Starting from the phone-call to make arrangements to the point where we returned our gear.. their service was exceptional!! Our instructor was patient and fun to talk to! They went above and beyond to make special arrangements for me and my husband. The owner lady is so kind, she kept checking on us, and did not rush us. Overall a wonderful experience and such delightful and knowledgeable people!!

Great little country store. They have a big selection for the area. The hardware store is in the back and the front area is a gift shop and coffee bar. There are a whole bunch of pretty interesting gifts like coffee mugs, stickers and even some hiking clothing.

They got some hardware. Also cross-country ski gear to buy and rent. Gloves, hats, glasses, sweaters (wife says very nice ones), and more. Not a huge selection but quite a bit to choose from. They also serve espresso and pastries. Souvenirs too!

I had a great experience last Thursday at Plain Hardware out getting some materials for my cabin and I came across a gentleman named Gus he was fairly new there but very knowledgeable and very helpful about building materials . I highly recommend Gus and recommend this small establishment. They had quite a bit of inventory with friendly happy staff! I will return thank you steve

Absolutely LOVE this store! Every time I visit I have to check out all the great clothing and gift items. FAR better choices than I found in nearby Leavenworth. If you’re anywhere near here, I’d recommend this store!! Warning...you will probably spend more than you wanted! There’s just so many unique items!!!
