They have a wonderful array of sausages that aren't too salty. The Field Roast vegetarian option is my favorite. It's great to sit outside under heaters and people watch.Vegetarian options: Field Roast is the best there is!Dietary restrictions: They have signs for gluten free on the sauce areaKid-friendliness: Everyone is welcome

The berry and lemon flavor beers were very tasty. There were many sauce choices to go with the sausages. Bratwurst & Wenatchee dogs $9.5 each, Pretzel $6.5, bear $7.5 each glass. The sitting area is more roomy than the similar restaurant across the street. Lunch time was too busy and the wait time was about 40 minutes. It would be nice to walk from here to Whistlepunk ice cream, same side and about 500 feet walking distance. 2023/7

Food was great although it's a little expensive. A brat is $9.50. German potato salad is delicious but its so small for $5. A pint of beer was almost $8.It's outdoor seating only but its covered so rain or snow shouldnt be a problem. They have a condiment bar with toppings for your brat. The sauerkraut is fantastic.

Expected to get a Bavarian pretzel but instead got a small regular soft pretzel that you can get at a high school football game. The cheese was delicious and was the real winner. I think the pretzels taste better and fresher from the places in the mall which is pretty bad if I’m in Leavenworth and paying the prices that I did. Unfortunately we won’t be getting “Bavarian” pretzels here again. The service and atmosphere was great.

I always go to the Sausage Garten for hot dogs. It's quite a drive from Seattle to Leavenworth just for the restaurant's homemade sausages, but I go there for that and visit the little shops and river. I give the restaurant a five-star for the taste of the links and the friendly people that work there. Thanks to the staff for allowing me to video record and post a review on my YouTube channel under LEE THOEUN + Best Homemade Sausages.I suggest the Spicy Italian and Polish sausages with cold Apple cider. It tastes amazing! The condiments used to be an extra charge, but it's on the table for you, which is how it should be and perfect for the customers. Price-wise, you can expect to pay $20 to $30 per person, depending on your order.Sausage Garten can sometimes get crowded if you're going there on weekends or holidays. If you're in Leavenworth, give this place a try, and I hope you like it.

This is a nice stop for lunch. You order at the window. They give you a number then prep your drinks. They bring the food to you. Seating is covered outdoors.I got the currywurst. My kids got a bacon bratwurst and a beef frank. They have an area with sauces and fixings. The curry wurst isn't prepared like they do in Germany, but it was still very good.

Love the Sausage Garten! The best one in Leavenworth (including, ahem . . . the one across the street . . .) Great atmosphere. Great sausage. Great beer. And great mustards/sauces. We go our first night every time we go to Leavenworth, and then we stock up on sausages at Cured to tide us through the rest of the year. Can't recommend highly enough!

YUMMM BUT BRRRRCan’t go wrong with a bratwurst. I’ve had most of their menu options and they do not disappoint. LOTS of sauce options and toppings to choose from. The sauerkraut is ready to join your brat. Limited beer options but nonetheless beer is served on tap. I always visit in the winter and outdoor seating is all they have with heaters above the tables and patio heaters.. need a few beers to get warm.

Outdoor seating that is covered and heated make it a good year round stop. Sausages are good, and the topping bar is complete. For me, the highlight is that they serve beer in 1 litre jugs like God intended.Vegetarian options: There is a Veggiewurst for the Non-meat eaters!

Love that I can get vegetarian sausage in town! It was premade, so not specialty sausage like the animal meat ones, but nice to have to option. It was all tasty and love the local brews too

Order at the counter, then go to the assigned table. The food comes out quickly, portions are good, food is hot. You can keep an open tab if you want additional drinks or food. Dining is outside, or inside.

Typically in town we visit MH across the street, including this trip, but yesterday we stopped here at LSG and we're glad we did. All 4 of us enjoyed the brats here more. We liked these buns better too. Plenty of condiments (the jalapeno bacon mustard was good) Free refill on fountain drinks. We shared a pretzel/cheese and it was the second best of the four places we tried (behind only the legendary ones at Cider House) Prices are in line with other food in town. Fast friendly service. Highly recommend visiting.

I got Kielbasa and it was good. The wait in line was about 40 minutes and another 20 minutes for food. People sit around after done eating and don't leave for the next customers, so it was a struggle to find seats. I would recommend this place for a one-time experience in Leavenworth.

Very good. Wanted to try something different while in Leavenworth. This place was it. The food was good. I ordered the German potato salad, kielbasa dog and water; with tax is was $14. When my lunch arrived, it was plain. I had to add all my toppings to my kielbasa dog and some spicy mustard to the potato salad. Once I doctored everything it was very tasty.

They have so many varieties of sausages, including vegan specialties. The Italian sausage was to die for! My daughter enjoyed a vegan sausage. There are nearly as many varieties of mustards, sauerkraut, relish, etc, at the topping bar. They've got great beers, too, as well as a free glass of water if you're on a budget. The staff are very polite and accommodating. There are bathroom facilities onsite, and my daughter was able to bring her dog (on a leash) inside the covered seating area. On a busy day, you'll need to find parking across the street, either at the public lot or the library parking lot. Either way, the price is reasonable. Of course you'll want to stay as long as you can at this Bavarian village. Leavenworth is unique, unless you are in Bavaria proper!Features: Masks are not required, nor are any other COVID restrictions in place.

This place, located on Leavenworth’s main area street, offers German style sausages and traditional German beer. The sausage I tried tasted fine even if a little different and spicier than its version I have multiple times in Germany. The prices were a little high but not unreasonable considering the location of this establishment. The staff at the ordering station was a little short with me but it could be due to the non stopping amount of customers. On the other hand, the busboys were extremely nice and attentive to my party.

Great family friendly sausage and beer stop on the Leavenworth "main strip". It's counter style, with a mustard bar + sides (sauerkraut, etc). Orders come fast and are taken to your table.Great for groups - it's actually meant for it, very popular, so expect lines and don't be surprised to share your table!Inexpensive, so if you're in after a hike, a 2 sausage meal goes down nicely 😁 Alas, parking is an issue - it's a small town with a lot of visitors. Street and paid lots are available, and given its a small area, shouldn't be more than a couple of city sized blocks to walk anywhere.

Sausage Garten was busy but delicious. The bratwurst is locally made and very good. They also have a large topping station with a variety of dressings and sauerkraut. I also highly recommend having a pretzel with the locally made cheese sauce! The beer is expensive but you get a large amount so it seems worth it!

Excellent. Try the chicken pear sausage, delicious! Fantastic soup, too. The wait staff are consistently picking up after customers so there are clean places to sit (it's outside but part of the area is covered.) Lots more sauces to choose than just ketchup or mustard! And look at this fantastic view!!

The service was fast, and the hot dogs are awesome. The beer on Octoberfest is the best! Absolute perfection on the pretzel. The picture doesn’t do it justice. Buttery soft salted pretzel with creamy white dipping sauce. Perfect combo, worth it for sure
