Went in and there was nobody else inside, two employees there and didn’t get acknowledged even though they both looked directly at me then continued about their business. Tried to buy gloves but nobody ever came up to assist me.

We needed hiking shoes desperately. Once we were able to get someone to come upstairs to help us with sizes, it was a great experience. Friendly staff and very good quality shoes, even though they were a bit pricey for me. Lots of cool things to look at.

This store gets 10 stars. Amazing and legitimately helpful staff. Very honest and knowledgeable about gear and the area. Highly recommend going here for rentals and shopping.

The staff is VERY knowledgeable here. They are EXTREMELY helpful and helped me pick out the appropriate item's needed for my situation at a decent cost. Shout out to Randy and the young men (cashier number 3 and cashier number 7 on 6-26-19 receipt) for staying professional during a debit card issue! I love my items as they have kept me extremely warm during my visit here and recommend a visit to this store soley on the fair prices and the customer service.

This a great store for travelers that may need something at least minute. We needed a good pair of socks to wear with hiking boots and they had great selection in stock. There was a lot of tools and supplies for campers, hikers, and many outdoor activities.

I love going here when I’m in town. Today we just window shopped for hiking boots/shoes. They we low on sizes but summers almost over and it’s probably to be expected, so no big deal. Usually I find good deals on a hiking shirt or light weight jackets, shorts etc… worth a stop if you like hiking camping gear, but from a cool mom and pop store and not Amazon or REI.

While at Leavenworth, we stopped by at this store looking to purchase a pocket knife. I would like to recognize Randall, who took the time and helped me figure out what exactly I was looking for. Additionally, I would like to recognize his ethics - when the store did not have a particular model, that he recommended, in stock, he didn't push me to purchase something else, but rather explained what my best options are! Great job! I would come back again and do business here next time.

Wonderful customer service here, they'll go out of their way to help you. While in store to purchase a fishing license, I accidentally left my ID in store - the employees were very gracious to go out of their way to mail it out to me since I wouldn't be able to get back there for some time. Will definitely be back for outdoor supplies during my next trip to Leavenworth.

Used Der Sportsmann to rent 2 sets of snow shoes. They advertise that they open at 9, but when I arrived at 9 the doors were locked and lights were off. I called and waited until about 9:15 and there was still no one around. Finally by 9:40 someone answered the phone. Rentals were super easy to arrange, minus the fact that hey didn't have any poles available. I believe the rentals were $18 each and lasted for about 6 hours. Very convenient access downtown.

Great people and service! My wife's bike jumped out of the bike rack behind our RV. Destroyed the tire, wheel, and the seat and stem were lost. Simon fixed her bike and had her back on the road. He adapted parts to her E-Bike that work great. Parts and all were barely $200I would recommend this store to everyone!

Loved this place! Best sports store I’ve ever been too. The two gentlemen working guided me and my girlfriend to the perfect gear we needed to hike colchuck in the spring. Highly recommend for any and all outdoor purchases and rentals!

From out of town and remembered I needed a small spring for my project bike quick release. They took the time to dig through their spare parts and found one. Didn't even charge for it! Excellent service!

Generally, this store is my favorite. Went in, two guys behind desk chatting with an employee. No greetings and I needed it. Lost a big sale on boots. I'm a local and it is a shame. Went to Wenatchee and Stand Merry Mart got the 490.00 sale.

Overall if you're a sporty person you'll be able to find a lot of what you're looking for here. Backpacks, swimsuits, pants, knives, fishing line, bikes, hunting, ammo, river floats, pants, shirts, ski and snowboarding stuff. The only thing is that a few times I've been there some of the staff are in a "funk" and don't seem the friendliest, hence the 4 star. However, I get it, its retail in a tourist town, there's a lot to deal with. I reccomend.

recently upgraded their climbing product stock - much more available nowadays than in previous months. I can rent crash pads if I don't have enough for a reasonable price (no hourly rates though), I can pick up the kind of chalk I like to use, tape, etc. Mad decent selection on the clothing sale rack upstairs, items on the rack seemed to rotate quite a bit too. Excellent little gear shop at fair prices. Sold me my fishing license too- way faster than other spots in town. No upcharge either like some have mistakenly thought (I used cash, they explained there IS an upcharge for using a credit card to pay for DFW licenses since it is a service they are not profiting on. This is the only item in the store that this upcharge for CC exists). Vandel is the man!

Poor customer service. Rude people that just wanna hang out with their friends and play on their phones. The guy also handed us a box of dirty socks that he says that haven't gotten around to cleaning. Spend 150 dollars somewhere else for your boots!

Anything you need outdoors Leavenworth, you can get it a DER! Fantastic local knowledge shared by a team of local experts who know and enjoy all that the area has to offer. I am an avid cyclist and cross country skier and they always help me with 5 star service and expert advice. And as a bonus, they invest heavily in the the Leavenworth Community, youth, trail sustainability and all outdoor recreation.

Staff is super friendly and always have helpful information on hikes or biking and they always have fun stuff to look at! Anything from sun glasses to bikes, knives, shoes, and clothing. They even have climbing gear if that's your cup of tea. Really fun place.

This is a wonderful small outdoor sporting goods store. They have a little bit of everything and for being the only place of its kind the prices on their products are not as bad as what they could be. Wonderful customer service always super friendly to everyone that walks in the door.

Today we rented two ebikes and two regular mountain bikes from Der Sportsmann. Great service. clean newish bikes. Reasonable price. We had a good family fun day.
