A manager was called prior to one person at the money center. Standing here for over 20mins Jewels came over and said ok what do you want to do . And walked away what kind of manager is this? Not knowing what to do ? Not being polite? Where is the manager standing prior to this. Jewels is rude , no customer service out of her none. She needs to go back to training and staff here needs to know how to do customer service. This is why robots š¤ taking their position in the world . Get it together!

Purchased a vacuum for 150$ it would not charge. I brought it back and they refused to let me return it because I didn't have the bar code from the original box. Manager was very very rude would not tell me his name when I asked he told me don't worry about it. He then proceeded to call security to have me escorted out. I will never shop here again. The man next to the door in the picture.

Update: a little over a month later and things are still bad. In fact they don't know how to keep an eye on inventory and check shelves. I found bleach left on a shelf behind flour. Who knows how long it had been there. I would not trust this place to buy your groceries.The workers do not know how to properly stock here, with items they need to be restocked with being neglected because they place random items in those items places. They speak incredibly rude to customers over the speaker and in person. They will also roll their eyes at you when you ask a simple clarifying question. They don't pay attention to their surroundings. I was nearly run into by the workers numerous times tonight. The store management information is not placed in the areas its supposed to be, like in the bathrooms. Having worked in customer service I know it's not an easy field. However, the workers here need to shape up or ship out cause they refuse to do their work properly and put on the customer service faces.

I donāt care if people steal from self-checkout. Either eat the losses and keep it open or hire enough cashiers. Not interested in waiting 20 minutes to checkout with 7 items. I very much debated leaving my cart in the line and dipping.Last two times I was in a regular line here, the person in front of me struggled to pay. I speedrun the checkout process and you have me waiting behind people who need to swipe a card for 5 minutes straight? Not an exaggeration!After, I had to ask 3 employees about the current self-checkout rules. First two were clueless. Third had to check with another employee (one self-checkout area is open). Tell your employees and customers how the store works!!!

much more helpful and friendly than the alternative store on Union in Tacoma. I've literally left the Union Ave one and went all the way to Bridgeport to have all the nose and we can't and it's against policies turn into managers going out of their way to find a way to help me solve a problem in the Bridgeport one opposed to the Union Ave one

Learn from my mistake- go to Discount Tire.Unreal- Purchased tires online through their site- purchased the roadside assistance and came to a store today becuase I have a flat tire. The location doesnāt have my tire, told me that I have to replace 3 tires since only one needs to be replaced since my car is all wheel drive⦠Walmart reduced the price of the 3 tires but unbelievable I had to buy new tires to uphold their warranty.Just bought the 3 new tires and I wonāt be going back- Iāll wear them down and go to Discount Tire. They actually warranty their products.

Only four checkers with long lines. But the worst part was a checker named Liberty who did not smile or say thank you or youāre welcome to any of the people in front of me who said thank you to her.. rude.Itās not the customers fault if youāre having a bad day.

Shutting down the Self Checkout lanes is a big mistake. I inquired about it and was told, "it was for more customer engagement". All it has really done is take away people time, as every lane is 10+ people deep. Especially bad when you have 3 items, and the 9 people in front of you have full carts!

This place is doo doo itās understaffed like frick, thereās 2 out of like TEN self checkout machines working, which donāt take cash for whatever reason, the lines are overly long which is expected considering they have 2 lanes out of like 20 open, the workers move slowly, everythingās unorganized, and I just donāt understand why somebody whoās buying 2 items has to wait 40 minutes in 2 different lines because thereās no signs saying self checkout doesnāt accept cash so you just wait in line to find out when youāre gonna pay oh I canāt pay. Smh either hire more employees or go bankrupt those are your only good options at this point.

I just found out that they are quick to take your money, but if something is wrong with the merchandise they are slow to refund. I stayed in the store and talked to the lady for almost 2 hours trying to get my money back. She had all the information that I purchased it right there in her face. She said she would give me a gift card or put it back on an expired debit card. After 2 hours of going back and forth with them I asked her why would I want a gift card to purchase something else from you and something is wrong with that then I'll be right back in the same situation I'm in now. That was over a week ago and I still haven't got my money.

A truly disturbing adventure the manager i encountered whoās eyes could not seem to focus on me looked sideways i couldnāt resolve my complaint because somehow his eyes went left and right and could not focus to provided me the correct information or support i wonder if this sideway view he has is the reason for so many one star ratings i couldnāt get his name but he isnāt hard to miss as he feels he doesnāt need to wear the appropriate identifying attire orLenses to support his vision cyclops mindset

I get that Walmart is losing money because of theft, and their solution to close self-checkout. So instead of getting 8 people through the line at a time at self-checkout, they have a total of 4 check stands open. They have, what? 23 check stands? and they can only open 4? I spent almost 20 minutes in line yesterday. No thank you.

Worst management I've ever seen. I sat in the pickup bay for over an hour waiting for my order to be delivered. Every stall full, cars lined up waiting for a stall, and only one guy working. Where's the managers? Where's the support? Pick up time was 4pm. It's 5:23 PM! I feel like an freaking idiot sitting here waiting for nothing? I hate this Walmart!

So I'm trying to understand how during two individual trips I walked away from my shopping basket and twice my shopping basket disappeared. Is it that someone didn't approve of what I had chosen? Is it that someone gets a moment of joy in having me start over in getting what I need or maybe don't need but that's what free will and working from 9yo to 49yo I thought granted me. That's what I get for thinking...your right Walmart really doesn't need me to stay in business but weirdo stuff like that is what keeps Walmart in free you tube advertising.

My experiences at this particular Walmart has been excellent. I'm not a consistent shopper here but visit often for grilling supplies and seasonings I can't find at other stores. I even came across the limited edition of Goldfish crackers with Old Bay Seasoningš when no one else had them. This resulted in me coming a few times to see what else they carried that I wouldn't expect. Overall, the running jokes and horrible stories heard about Walmart shoppers and staff will not be experienced at this one. Only good vibes, great bargains, and surprising finds.

Pickup takes forever to bring anything out to your call. The app is broken, and no one answers the pickup order phone.The store is always dirty, and the aisles always crowded with things they haven't stocked yet.Random garbage is found on shelves throughout the entire store every time we go there.Staff is generally rude and unhelpful when you ask them questions or for help finding something.Waited over 15 minutes once for someone to come unlock the electric toothbrush cabinet after asking if I could get assistance before giving up.

As a disabled person Iām telling other disabled people not to shop here. Not only do they never have enough motorized carts but they have closed down the self checkout on the grocery side, which forces disabled grocery shoppers to have to walk around more and stand in very long lines. I have reported this store to the ADA for a hostile disability environment as well as to Jesse Jones on Kiro 7. To top it off every time I am in here their online personal shoppers get irritated with my inability to move like everyone else and cuss me under what they think is their breath but due to their earbuds/airpods you can hear them very audibly. This was the only place I could shop due to being on disability. But Iād rather eat less and pay more for my food! Iād give negative stars if I could

Ordered online for pick up at Walmart.I forgot to bring any reusable bags, and apparently Walmart cannot afford to bag any of the groceries⦠I mean the billionaire company might lose out on a few pennies God forbid. I am sure all the money they are saving on bags is going into employee raises, right Walmart? I could get on board with the irritating inconvenience of trunk full of loose groceries if it was going to the staff. But we both know thatās not the case. And yet somehow the staff still smiles and does a good job. Until they get a better job that is.

Worst experience with the tire center at this location. They stated that they donāt do TPMS service when you purchase tires here but on Walmartās Website it states that they do.You get more attitude that service.Walmart HQ should send the audit team to this site and audit their sales, service and customer care.

Some of the people who bring out the groceries at the grocery pick up are so damn rude! I avoid it but every once in awhile I go backhoping it's a better experience but I'm so disappointed. I only have this experience at the Lakwood location. So effing rude!!!! Do better!

Too unorganized, unless I am just use to my Spanaway store?This Walmart seems larger. It has more selection yet fewer items, if that makes sense...Just as with every Walmart I have been in(6 to date)unless you are going to Electronics, Pharmacy, Vision, or thru checkout you can forget about finding assistance from anyone interested in customer assistance, IMO...Oh, forgot about the Customer Service. Not sure about this location cuz I did not go to there yet. It is probably just as helpful as Spanaway. I am pretty sure it is understaffed as Spanaway and as long, or longer, of a wait. Will update when/if I need to go there. Kinda hope not...Jim

Have tried grocery delivery and every time I am disappointed by the person shopping for me. Most recently I ordered 2 fresh 16-20lb turkeys but they delivered 2 less than 5lb frozen turkeys and they wonāt return non-perishable foods. Whoever is picking the groceries out at this store has zero concept of equivalency. Iām not sure how a 16lb turkey equates to a 5lb turkey and now Iām stuck with it. Get your staff some common sense training and if the people donāt show signs of common sense then they shouldnāt be responsible for picking out other peopleās groceries.

First, I was getting used to the no bag thing, but now there's only 2 cashiers available and they got the self checkouts closed off. After this, I definitely won't be shopping at Walmarts.

Tires were fixed in a reasonable time. Customers listening to YouTube videos without headphones in the waiting area of the tire shop was annoying. Worth it if you need to do some shopping as well.

Went to a register right at 8pm with a cart full of groceries, it's likely the young girl at the register was ready to clock out based on the hour just changing and how she sighed and rolled her eyes at that moment as I took a turn and headed to her lane. She scanned aggressively and slammed every item on the scanner and threw things in the bag and crushed the eggs and bread. She kept looking behind her at the door body language hinting she was supposed to leave maybe? She kept sighing the whole time then barked at me when I politely said she double scanned an item. The result was she snapped saying "okay? Then hand me back the box" as she needed it back in order to rescan and delete it. Mind you I was polite I said how are you, no response,and sat there quietly until I mentioned the double scanned item and after when she snapped at me demanding the item she scanned twice back. At that point I told her she could be a little nicer. She piled as much of my groceries in one bag and slammed the receipt down at me. I'm poor, rarely have a chance to go out and buy food. I was so happy to have a full cart of groceries for once, but walmart has employees that could care less how they treat others, my happy day ended up being saddened after beingttreated like a dog by a walmart employee. It just wasnt in me to find a manager but I was so upset and thought I was the bad guy just coming a long with food in my cart. Using self check out from now on. Walmart employees cant be thankful enough to be employed I guess.

I rarely shop at Walmart, but I shopped there this week and needed to return something on Saturday night, but the employee wouldn't let me in the door at 10:55pm. Pretty disappointed because we drove quite a ways to get here. I'll be going to a different Walmart to return these things. Oh, and they don't answer their phone or have a way to leave a voice message.I feel like Walmart has gone way downhill in the last year or so. They no longer carry plastic bags at all. You have to buy their cloth bags, which are so small that you need to buy multiples of them. They don't have tap to pay either. I feel like they are way behind the times.
