He'll remain a client as well as my dog will become a client as well. Dodger looked so incredible when he came home.

I am absolutely so upset right now. I have had my shihtzu Bella for 9 years since she was 6wks old and have NEVER had an issue with a groomer taking it upon themselves to shave off my baby's hair completely because it was matted. I have always had them call and ask first or charge a little extra to brush it out. My baby goes to the groomers every month to every other month since she was a pup. I wouldn't be so upset if the cut was good, but they left my girl choppy and uneven. We will not be going here anymore. I had liked this place because they really listened and we never had any issues before but this is just messed up. She doesnt even look like herself anymore. Horrible horrible job at communication and what kind of choppy cut is this. How disappointing. I give it a 2 because we havent had issues up until today. I just cant wrap my head around the fact that they really just decided to cut her hair like this without even communicating to us beforehand. We just welcomed our child a couple of weeks ago so we decided to wait another 3 wks to get her groomed so yes she was matted- but she is ALWAYS matted every time she goes to the groomers. This makes me so sad.

Orisa has only went to this establishment a handful of times throughout her puppyhood. During my first few visits I did ‘happy visits’ and they were willing to share advice. Following her appointments, I found that she had quickly developed positive associations with grooming. And even when I visited long after they remembered her. This is an amazing establishment. And the groomers here are experienced and lovely. And I’ll be bringing my next poodle puppy to them as well. I almost wished they charged more considering how amazing their services are!

I absolutely love this place Brianna is the G.O.A.T every staff member I've interacted with was really nice. The place is always very clean and have great prices! My guy Banditt has extreme anxiety and he won't let no one touch him but he loves Bri and I 100% satisfied. If your looking for grooming I really suggest them .

Our kids have gone there since birth. 9 years running now. Amanda and the girls are amazing.Update... were amazing. Apparently poor grooming ability takes presidents over a happy customer. Thanks for the eye opener. I remember when we used to get good haircuts. Those were the days. Good luck

I have been taking all of my dogs which are four shih tzus, to be groomed here for the past 10 years! They are amazing always. I recently adopted a husky girl, who is very shy at 10 months old. I brought her to be groomed and Bri went above and beyond to make sure she took very good care of my girl! I truly truly am a fan of the Paw Spa! You won't be disappointed, Love Them, especially the Owner Amanda ❤️

My dog is an older chihuahua that usually has problems getting groomed. I had seen a pair of Poms and loved their grooming so I asked who did it. They told me Paw Spa, so I wanted to try my dog there. The dogs owner bragged about the groomers there, and I admit I was a bit sceptical. However, Sara did an outstanding job on my dog. She was very sensitive to my concerns and made me feel at ease leaving my dog. I am beyond happy with my dogs clip. I also couldn't believe my dog didn't nip at all..great job..I will go back and recommend.

I am a first time Australian Shepherd owner. He is show quality. After a year of grooming appointments (at another salon), I was becoming more and more disillusioned! I take my dog to the groomers, because I, myself, am not qualified to know how to carry out this task. Obviously, the reputable, well known grooming Salon that I chose, doesn’t either! Each time I picked my dog up, I wondered if they truly did anything at all! So... I made an appointment with the Paw Spa, where I had taken my Border Collie years ago. The ONLY place in town my Collie ever felt at ease! I live so far away, but the drive was well worth it!! The Paw Spa made him look like he just came off the the runway winning first place! They did an amazingly professional job!!!!DANG!! And they’re cheaper!! Worth the extra gas and time to get there! I am now back to being proud of my b-e-a-u-ti-ful Aussie! THANK YOU AMANDA!!! Uncertain what anyone means when they say the “staff” is great as there is 1 person that works here. She is wonderful with animals but is rarely on time and tends to keep your pet all day because she’s overbooked or showed up late. I enjoy her incredibly but she just isn’t the fit for my pups anymore. She could absolutely work for your pups so give her a try!

I have been bringing my dogs here for years, they are wonderful with them. They can almost always fit me in as a walk in so we are in and out quickly. They don't charge extra to dremmel the nails after trimming like most groomers and they have the best prices in town.

Amazing! My dogs are very anxious and terrified of getting groomed. They both needed their nails cut desperately. They took them back and had them out in less than 5 minutes. Amanda was so patient with Izzi, even after she freaked out when we handed her to Amanda. We will not be going anywhere else for dog grooming. Thank you so much for doing a wonderful job!

The Paw Spa is one of the best places to take your animals, the groomers there loves each dog and treats them as their own. The service and prices are excellent. The quality of their work, and their professionalism are at the top of the list. We have been taking our Brandi there for the last four years and won't go anywhere else. They are always willing to work with our schedule, we need to take a ferry to get to the mainland and I never have a problem setting up appointments. Your won't be sorry going to The Paw Spa on Gravelly Lake Road, in Lakewood, Wa.

Finally a place that actually cuts the nails down as far as the quick will allow. No one else I've gone to cuts the nails short enough. She was so great with my dogs and made them feel comfortable, even my nervous girl who hates the groomer. My dog wasn't nervous or upset to be there, but actually happy. Will definitely go again.

Have gone to several other groomers in Lakewood/Tacoma and this is the best by far. Amanda was able to groom my 2 Mini Schnauzers the next day after I called for an appointment. She did an excellent job on both dogs. They were relaxed and happy when I picked them up. My older dog usually comes home "tembly"; she didn't this time. My young dog has been groomed only twice before and she did great. I am a FAN of the Paw Spa (next to Arby's in Lakewood} and will be taking my dogs there again. I also like the shampoo they use. The dog's coats are soft and they smell wonderful as well. Thank you Paw Spa! Also the price is as low as the other groomer I have gone to for 11 years.

I've been meaning to write a review for a while now, and remind myself every time I drop my pup off, but keep forgetting by the time I get home with my clean little guy!Amanda and her team are awesome. I'm so thankful for people I can trust to leave my dog with and know he's being treated well and groomed properly. We've used other groomers in the area before and he's had consistent issues each time, including them not trimming nails short enough or cutting them too short so they bleed, improper gland expression (leaves him irritated), too perfumey, etc. At Paw Spa, I haven't experienced any of these issues. Bradley is always remembered there and he gets so excited when I pull into the parking lot. I love knowing that when I pick him up, he will come home smelling good, feeling good, and looking good. He was recently diagnosed with a serious illness that can be worsened by a number of things including stress and even minor injuries. I'm always confident that he will be safe in Amanda's care and she has been so awesome with making a few small accommodations for us. 5 stars!!

After a horrible experience at Petsmart groomers i called Paw Spa for my precious miniature Dorky. I can't say enough how thankful I am and pleased with the services, kindness, and professionalism these ladies have. I would reccomend them to anyone and will be a regular no doubt. Ladies thank you for making Baby beautiful. I tried to snap picture but she won't stay still lol.

My husband and I have tried many other grooming businesses in the area. We have a Newfoundland 8 months old and a three-year-old chiweenie. The owner and her employee Bree are amazing! They do the best job anyone has by far. They have been grooming are Newfoundland since we got her at 3 months old and they treat our pets as if they were their own. How about 2 months ago the owner called to tell us that our animals were done and it was close to closing time, we showed up to get them and they were the only two dogs left at the spa and she was playing with our pups and feeding them pretzels and peanut butter. The dogs also are not kept kennels up at all times. As long as they play nice they are able to be out of the kennel and associate with the other dogs. We WILL NEVER take our fur babies to any other groomer. As I mentioned before we have tried other rumors and we were completely dissatisfied terrible trim jobs, and all. There was one occasion where paw Spa was closed and are dogs really stunk from playing outside, we took them to a groomer across the street from Classy Chassis in Lakewood. As soon as we left the grooming business we drove next door to the bank and got a call from a family member we had an emergency. We called the groomers and told them we were going to be right back to grab or animals due to this emergency we had to leave town immediately she had no time to bathe our dogs as we were only gone between 5 and 10 minutes and she told us that she had already bathed our chiweenie. My husband went in to get our animals and are Chiweenie was damp on her chest and a couple paw still stunk and she charged my husband $50 yet did not provide a service. We had every intention of giving her at least $20 for the inconvenience. However, I don't do well with Shady businesses nor big corporations like PetSmart I like to support local businesses and PAW Spa is a business we will continue to support as I would trust leaving both of our fur babies with any of the stuff 4 a week for two if we were to take a vacation. Five stars from us and if we could weed add 10 more!

I only gave one star because you HAVE to. This place would be out of business if it weren't for the over forgiving seniors in our community. The last straw was when I had a 9am appointment, arrived at 8: 45am and waited until 10am, then i left. Funny thing is an employee arrived at the same time as me and said"I can't get in so you have to wait."Wow, ok. Prior to this b. s., I took my fur baby for a summer cut and her ears were left uncut, and the nail polish I asked to be put on her nails was all over her paws and I actually had to ask them to remove it before I left. There are several other instances that rubbed me the wrong way before finally saying"F this place". Her excuse is always that she has a lot going on in her life.I now happily go to Groomingdales in University Place.
