Elli was a great help from start to finish. It has been a long while since being an aquarest and there was a lot I just couldn't get answers to my questions at other "chain" stores. Elli was happy to answer the question give me expert advice and suggestions as well as make me feel there's no rush. The cost of the hobby has definitely gone up, although with it to stores like this so has the info for people that just need get first hand information. Left with 2 new pets and going back this week for the mate to a pair. I really appreciate the time and knowledge you shared with me Aquarium Paradise

I bought a 90 gallon Aquarium Masters tank and stand here which they loaded into my truck for me. I returned a few weeks later for fish and other supplies. Dominic, Elly, and Lindsay have all been incredibly nice and patient working through decisions sharing their knowledge, thoughts, insights, and opinions. Elly and Lindsay even stayed past closing on a Saturday helping my wife and I pick our school of fish. They never once made us feel rushed or pressured to get out the door. That is so appreciated as we will have these fish for years to come. I can tell they enjoy what they do and it shows in their great service and well cared for fish stock. I absolutely will make the 30 mile drive south again and again.

Very Knowledgeable Shop! After a long life my Betta Fish passed away, I knew I couldnt replace him, I wanted to try something new, a less solitary fish, a school of guppies. They gave plenty advice, and told me if there were any issues I could call and they'd help me out. Very friendly staff. All Fish are very energetic and lively, They have a amazing selection! I did end up having issues with grouping male guppies together and they offered to replace them with females. Great customer service. Thank you, Aquarium Paradise!

Very helpful staff. I’ve been slowly setting up a tank for a month and they’ve pointed me in the right direction multiple times. I bought 6 corydoras from them today and they’re very healthy. Not a bad price either. Nice clean family owned shop

Can't say anything else but thank you to Natalie and her husband. The absolute pride they have in the store as a whole, the passion they both share is fantastic. Yes the below "some" is true. I did have an ornament break in the move, HOWEVER take a look at the updated pictures, they didn't just make it right, they helped elevate my tanks overall appearance. Truly 5stars. It's easy to get a good review when everything goes right, but Aquarium paradise went far beyond what I could have hoped for in making this a good experience. I will absolutely be back to show my support to this amazing local business!UPDATE: So first I have to admit a terrible wrong on my part. As I have had tons of sales people etc call us do to the new move, So my fault my VM was full. So Natalie did in fact call me back.Also after speaking with Natalie today some of the issues like the cloudy water is due to the new substrate as she mentioned, I typically go with a different substrate so this is new to me, also a bad assessment on my part.Still did have some concerns on the wire maintenance and the broken pirate ship, But Natalie is going to make that right and help me not just replace the ship, but help me figure out a new aquascape that I was already considering. Sooooo after everything and above everything I value companies that are willing to have these types of conversations and push through some of the missed communication even when it's the customers fault, AFTER ALL, I DO BELIEVE THAT SOMETIMES THE CUSTOMER ISNT ALWAYS RIGHT, And this was one of those times. Natalie truly thank you for the call and communication!Well unfortunately I have to give a 1 star... The only positive thing from this encounter was my fish were moved and survived. And that's where the positive ends.With timing I moved while out of town, so I was in a rush to have someone move my 90gallon tank with about 20fish. All fish survived. However my ornaments arrived broken, and everything was literally just thrown back into the tank, my plants were just floating at the top some have become so tangled I might not be able to save them. The exterior of my tank was extremely dirty from the new substrate I asked for them to put in. And I'm not a professional but still know to rinse the Flourite substrate before putting into the tank. That was obviously not done. And this last week I gave 3 opportunities for the company to make something right. Called 3 times with no call back from the person that set this up. The guys here are super nice and good people, so I am honestly not sure what happened here...Just 100% not ok with this service... Even with this review no response from the store.

My favorite fish and all things aquarium related retailer hands down. Amazing fish and hard to find species of cichlids in stock. They have fish and aquarium related stuff for anyone who has or is interested in starting out with fish aquariums. Know and helpful staff. They have fish tanks for sale in sizes small to huge and prices are unbeatable.

Love coming here for all fishy needs. Great selections. Both fresh and salt. The tanks are clean and fish seem well taken care of. It's fun to come in even just to look. They even have a lot of live rock and coral for saltwater and plants for fresh water. Lots of accessories, tanks and decor. The staff are very knowledgeable and egar to help. Highly recommend this shop.

Over all a good experience. The people that work there are so nice, eager to help and knowledgeable. They have a good selection of fish and accessories I have not seen at other stores. A bit of a drive but worth the trip.

As an experience fish owner it’s always nice to have a go to place that will have what I need. Everyone is helpful and nice but not pushy and I love that about this place. Prices are reasonable and their cichlids are impressive.

I am going to say this once… save the axolotls. This place has a bunch of employees that literally have no idea what they’re talking about as far as axolotls. Granted we went in without knowing anything about them but felt confident that we were on the right track with our little guy with all the “knowledge” they were pushing on us… although we walked away feeling like idiots and as if the employees were being condescending…A little baby axolotl who was in a BARE tank with nothing but an obnoxious blue light, a pump, no substrate whatsoever and a plant. We were told that he should be fed every 2-3 days (as a baby?!) and that we shouldn’t put sand at the bottom of his aquarium, oh and we were also told a 3.5L tank would be fine for him. Well, we’ve had this baby for three months now and his growth has been CRAZY stunted. After going to another pet store “The Pet Works” in Olympia (HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE) we were told we were doing it completely wrong. Babies need to be fed DAILY. 2x DAILY. They should have hiding places, especially with ours being leucistic, the aquarium he’s in should be DARK no fancy lights… dark and in cool places.Oh, plus, we weren’t told any other food besides blood worms… thankfully we did do our own research as we weren’t seeing him grow. Now, he’s in a 20L tank with fine substrate and aquatic plants… getting fed two times a day and living his absolute best life.YOU SHOULD NOT BE SELLING ANIMALS YOUR EMPLOYEES KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. It’s unfair to the animals and it gives owners an unfair chance at giving a loving home to them.**picture of our baby to spread happiness**

healthiest fish i’ve ever seen! bought some snails and they look gorgeous. they have so many healthy breeds of fish and coral and plants, and they are so affordable! they helped so much and were really knowledgeable about everything. helped us choose and when i went to petco they didn’t even know the gender of fish! super helpful and never going to a chain petco again.

What a great place. I live in the UP and did not realize it was at one end of Bridgeport. Great selection, great customer service and excellent prices. I was blown away by the variety of corals they had. Healthy samples say a lot about the professional nature of an establishment. To see baby corals that I loved seeing when I was diving in Thailand brought back fond memories.

I was excited to come to this fish store because it’s the only LFS within like 30+ minutes of my house. One of the employees, a young girl, told a customer that she should get a “betta bowl” and that she didn’t have to do water changes because the water would evaporate. They also have “betta kits” that are 2.5 gallons with no heater or filter for $89.99. I can get a 10 gallon with a hud, filter, gravel, fake plants for $40. Bettas need their water to be 75 to 85 degrees and just like ALL aquatic animals they need a filter so ammonia doesn’t build up in the tank. (I inserted my betta aquarium, and how beautiful my betta is, which is over the top and you do not need as large or extravagant of a set up as mine) but you do NEED a heater and filter and an aquarium big enough to compensate for said heater and filter which this store does not provide a good representation of how a betta should live. The bettas in this store also looked sicker than the ones in cups at petco. How do you achieve that! Honestly all the other fish care seemed good but their betta care was so bad that it just ruined the whole experience.

The owner was so nice and well educated in all things aquarium! Never hesitates to answer questions and is super helpful. From a beautiful choices of wood, rocks, and more to all the essentials needed for even the rarest of fish:) it made me happy learning about this place and seeing all the interesting fish and corals. Somehow this betta, Squirt, stole my heart and has been the best addition to my planted aquarium! Must visit !!
