My girl dog has anxiety and cannot stand to go most places.She goes here just fine.She gets her nails trimmed, and they also trim the hair between her paw for an extra $10, which is nice.The groomers do a great job for bathing and de-shedding.My dog was aggressive towards another big dog, and got listed to keep separate from other dogs.Good management of bad dogs.At least she's not blacklisted....Good space to separate small dogs from big dogs.

We have always taken our dog here for the past 2 years, but recently had a bad experience where the groomer Lorie gave her a bad haircut on her ears, as they were uneven and Lorie had an attitude about it.We took our 🐕 back to have her fix it. And it was worse. Will no longer go here again, so I'm not happy.Good thing we have another choice that our neighbors recommendedafter seeing her haircut.

I have been bringing my two Australian Shepherds to see Lorie for years! We have followed her from a previous grooming location & have been with Lorie as our groomer for 10 years. She is fabulous with our Aussies. One is deaf, old, & grumpy & Lorie’s caring demeanor makes it an easy grooming trip for him! She does a perfect job every time. She always knows what they need- whether it’s a touch up trim, de-matting, or a fuller haircut. We will always recommend Dog Day Afternoon!

They may be ok for short haired dogs, but they do NOT know what they are doing when it comes to long haired dogs. My dog had some matting when I took him in. I'm not upset about anything they did (or didn't do) in regards to the mats. I'm upset about him being wet all over (not just in the matted areas) when I picked him up; shaver burned his privates, very lopsided trim on his face (!), no nail trim, no ear clean, and quite expensive for the service. After I got home, I discovered he still had shampoo in his hair! The blue gray color is shampoo left in his hair. His snout was matted, however, there is no excuse for this terrible cut. They don't crate the dogs, which I at first thought - oh, grooming and play date....But, there can be consequences with loose, unfamiliar dogs co-mingling; which I didn't really consider. However, no issues arose for us. I do appreciate that L called me to say she was concerned she couldn't brush him out and asked what I would like her to do. I said, stop trimming, and she did, which I am thankful for. Again, probably ok for short haired animals.

Kayla is the best I love this groomer. All the groomers are wonderful. My dogs love going here and are always happy when I pick them up. They take great care with my babies. Highly recommend this groomer. I have tried a few others. This place is A+. Pics of both dogs after and one B4.

I wouldn't recommend this place for self-serve dog washing. It's a great price but they don't have all the extras and their shampoo and conditioner is watered down. I couldn't even get a lather and my dog has lots of fur being a Siberian Husky.

Wow. That's all I can say when I look at my Peggy Sue! Lynne is such a talented groomer! Peggy has a history of being snippy when you touch her face and I haven't been able to find a groomer that can get her bangs short enough since she won't let anyone near them. Like most Shih Tzus Peggy has a history of eye problems so short bangs is an absolute must. I was shocked when I picked her up today! She looks amazing! I'm so impressed!

They take very good care of our old dog. Several months ago they noticed he wasn't himself before we did. Took him to the vet. After medication and time he got better. Might have had a different outcome if they hadn't spoken up. Really appreciate these people.

We used the self wash for both of our very large dogs. The set-up is convenient and the cost was super reasonable.Our dogs are loud and messy but the staff was so very nice about it.We tipped generously because of the barking and the mess we made.We will absolutely be back!

Brought my dog in for her first nail trim. She was very nervous, but the staff was so patient and gentle. They took the time to help her calm down so she wasn’t traumatized by the experience. I will definitely use them for all my grooming needs in the future.

My former groomer lost her business during COVID so I tried another groomer but my dog didn't like her. Yesterday, I took him to Dog Day Afternoon ... BEST decision ever! The groomer, Lynne, did a superior job and followed all my instruction about the cut I wanted - he looks so handsome. Besides that, he was happy & the employees fell in love with him & thought he was sweet. Without a doubt, his next grooming will be at Dog Day Afternoon. 🐕

I took my dog for a drop in nail clipping here, as I’m afraid to do it myself and cut too short. The person working, who I don’t think was even a groomer, cut not one, but TWO of my dog’s nails so short that she bled the entire drive home and bled all over the house. My sister also took her dog here a few months ago for grooming and they burned her neck with a razor. Definitely would NOT recommend.

Love this place. I can take my puppy there for grooming or just to hang out for the day and very reasonably priced. If I’m going to be gone for the day I will drop my puppy off for socialization so she isn’t home alone. Worth it! This is her fresh bath and trim, she is so pretty! Wonderful place

Absolutely disgusting business. Called to make an appointment for 2 dogs, was told the pricing was "kind of wonky" then given a "small/medium" price and "medium/large" price. Schedule 2 dogs for 5pm. Arrived at 4:45, were greeted and taken to the back wash room. The place smelled like dog poop. There was not a clean spot in the facility. We were asked to share a tub. Told they were "pretty much out of all shampoos except the cucumber wash." There was hair everywhere, balls of hair, like a dog or three had just been shaved but it was inside and outside the facility. There was hair all over the cleaning station, in the scrub brush, on the rack where the "dry towels" were. Just gross. This was a one and done experience.

This place was a very professional. They have a great system set up for getting your pets in for the beauty needs (Cause Covid). I brought my pupp Macy in for a nail trim, it was quick and easy. Made payment over the phone and was very satisfied with everything.

Found this place after the groomer i was going to abruptly closed the doors without notice. This place is great! They call and text with a reminder and will preset your next appointment when you leave. Rates are reasonable and they do a great job. The best part is they don't crate the dogs while they are waiting to be picked up, they all socialize together and can freely roam the salon. All good experiences so far!

Reasonably priced for the services provided and always excited to see my dogs when they walk in, which makes me feel great about leaving them there. Love this place!

I took my 5 month old American Alsatian to be groomed here for the first time. She’s about 65-70lbs currently. The gal I talked to on the phone was up front regarding fees. She was nice, professional, and found a day/time that worked for my schedule. My dog came out of there looking and smelling so good! I was told she had a great time and was well behaved. The price was spot on for how large my dog is. I will definitely be scheduling again. Great place. Thanks ladies for taking great care of Maya. :)

I love this place! I brought my puppy for a nail trim. It was walk-in, no appointment needed. The groomer trimmed my girl's nails quickly while I held her. A couple of weeks later, my adult dog got a full wash & cut. I've been impressed with the quality, the staff, how easy it is to get an appointment and the overall 'ease' of getting my dogs groomed here. We will be regulars!

Took my dog in there in December of last year For grooming nail trim did.a good job on that, but ended up with$600.00 vet bill for ear infections, they didn't bother drying out my dogs ears, ear infections still on going. It only takes common sense to put cotton balls in their ears and after bathing to dry them out. Looking for new groomers BTW don't know what happened but I cant get near my dog with scissors or the electric shears !!!!!!!!!!!

This was the second time i have taken my dog to get his nails trimmed because it is much easier on both of us for someone else to do it. Our first trip there was very wonderful, the staff was great and the service was super quick. This last time was not great. The tech performing the service was clearly getting frustrated because he was nervous and not sitting still and the walls inside are very paper thin. I could hear him whining and her getting angry and frustrated at him which I don’t think was making it any easier on either of them. I was tempted to ask if they needed my help because it was so awkward being able to hear them struggle and the tech seeming so annoyed by my anxious dog. I don’t think we will be going back for a third time.
