This rating is for their kid workshop. I get that not everyone loves kids… so don’t put your angry employee at the kid workshop. Don’t put the grumpy old woman that is stingy with giving us a kit for the FREE workshop. I am so thankful that Home Depot even puts this event on, it’s a great idea. But tell Kristine… I think her name was Kristine to get a new job. Seriously, just an angry old woman… Home Depot… please stop hiring old women to work at a hardware store unless they actually know what they are doing, can build and/or carry stuff. As a woman… it does not make it more inviting or less intimidating for me to go if you have an old grumpy woman there. Really.As for getting the supplies I needed to build a shelf… I had a gentleman named Jeremy help me. Great customer service. I had my two boys with me and had to get another cart to push my boys and the wood. He got the wood for me, helped me cut a piece so it could fit in my car. Hire more people like Jeremy… not Kristine. Please.Thank you.

I particularly like this location because the staff are quite friendly and helpful. I particularly like Miss Rachel, Mr. Erik, Miss Linde, and where is other folks whom I have been meeting for the past 10 years. This is the best supply place for all the remodeling needs as well as stuff for the farm to make chicken coops, cows, shelter, goat, shelter, or rabbit hutches. You can find decking material and all kinds of screws and power tools also. I needed metal sheeting for the roofing for the Cows shed, they have lumber in all sizes and dimensions

Don was incredibly helpful in trying to solve our issue with a woodpecker hole! We accidentally caught him right as he was getting off of work and he stayed to diligently help us & provide advice. Very pleasant guy to chat with & a valuable employee!!

Very unoganized customer service. They cleared out return line, 6 looked at a broken table, one left to exchange a propane tank for a lady that just walked up, while telling me to wait my turn, I was there before all but 1 return. Computers were down, the guy that helped me was nice but not sure how to do what needed done. Took me over 28 minutes to do a very simple pickup.Call and spoke to a manager and they pretty much blew me off.

Today I went to this location to purchase some plants & gardening type items. So when I entered the store, I turned left to go to the gardening department. after being in the gardening department, for about five minutes, an associate came outside to ask if I needed any assistance. I asked them where the cacti were located at and they directed me to a section near the self checkout stands. I don't think this is an ideal location for plant type items. After spending about 10-15 mins picking out the items, I went to the checkout isle. There were two people in front of me & the cashiers were swapping out. The wait time was short. Once I put my items in the counter, the cashier immediately starting speaking negatively about the company I work for. I had gone straight in after my shift and was still in work uniform. She continued to speak ill through the entirety of the transaction. I will not be returning to this location.

The team that handles the truck rentals here was Fantastic! 👏🏽 They went the extra mile and made some calls on my behalf and got me huge discount on the gas tank due to an emergency I had. They were friendly and very professional as well. The service was so good that I offered to leave a review on Google. Usually service has to be either really good or really bad for me to even think of leaving a review. They definitely deserve this recommendation! Thanks Home Depot.

Home Depot hands down beats Lowe s in service and products, their employees are friendly and don't run from you, my dad is 83 hard of hearing and the little blonde lady at the returns desk is so nice to him and helpful, the Hawks prairie home Depot is awesome for customer service

Hailey in the flooring department went above and beyond in helping me with trying to track down some older flooring. I have never received this top notch level of customer service in my life. Definitely find her if you need any help!

It would be nice if the stores had employees with some kind of home repair knowledge. Most times I can't find what I'm looking for. If you need something specific, a hardware store is your best bet.

The houseplants are always infested with gnats or mold. I can never find an employee walking around when I need one. Generally they're out of stock on alot of items, so trips here are often frustrating.

Another wasted trip to Home Depot only to find what I need online has over 5400 units and not one in store. Specialty brands with high profit margins are what HD is striving for these days not what customers need to buy now and get our work done. Again, I will be buying and shipping from Amazon as it is cheaper and faster to ship then to wait for product. The business model is broken, do you have the tools to fix it or do those need to be found on Amazon also?

I really like Home Depot. They have most of what I need from home improvement, however, some of their stuff is a bit cheapo because it's Chinese made. They need to carry more higher quality American-made items. Also their prices have become noticeably higher.

My glasses broke while I was in the store. When I got to my car, I realized I lost the temple piece. I raced back in hoping I would find something light brown and flat on the floor. I knew the area I was in, and went there. After looking for a minute, a worker came up and asked for help.i started to explain, and she said hang on, and she was right back with part in hand. Was very grateful for her quick thinking to pick it up

The employees in the painting area are dumber then a door know. I looked at three employees made eye contact and said I would like a tip for my paint gun which are locked up. And I know they heard me so I went back by the paint accessories and stood there assuming one of the three could help me since they were all just standing there. And I'm kinda in a hurry. So after about five minutes of looking at all the tips and my options walked back to the end of the isle and could see they were all still just standing there. So I took matters into my own hands. I found a paint brush handle to reach into the metal cage they have everything locked in. But clearly it defeats the point of having stuff locked up if it fits out the holes in the metal cage . I just slid the tip I needed to the end of the metal bar it was hanging on grabbed it with my fingers turned it side ways and pulled it on through. And then when I was heading up to the cou terminal one of the three employees I asked for hell was just walking towards me and asked if there was anything I needed help with. Yeah like 20 minutes ago. But don't worry I was able to get it out with out tour help and you should probably go back to talking.

I used their Penske truck return service today. Our account was a mess by the pick up location. Return location was changed at the last minute and it was a real challenge with everything. Andy was amazing. He was calm, patient and really helped us out with everything. Thanks Andy

Had to search around for someone to help me. Then they had no idea what I was talking about. I needed a screw for my lawnmower. Holds the plate where it connects to the wheel joint. Bought my beautiful shed here, which will be my "she-cave, craft room, sanctuary" once its finished. The guys that helped load it need more training on that but were pleasant. Additional items needed (not in the kit) were misquoted so had to make another trip. One more days work and she'll be ready to paint and fill!
