Been awhile since I visited this Safeway, and boy, was I in for a surprise. They changed everything around. This Safeway was already a nice place to shop. But now they have rearranged things around, and it looks awesome. Still clean, spacious, and somehow looks bigger. The staff was, as always, polite, friendly, and helpful. It's a great place to find just about anything dealing with food, and Starbucks is still there. 👌 Great job. Thanks

Every time i come in i see a health code violation or food safety violation. Hot food should only be heated for up to 4 hours i believe. This was one hour before store closing.

They ignore the checkout lines and you will be waiting a very long time. Not to mention how dirty the place usually is. Safeway continues hiring the kind of employees that make you regret going there. Don't try to buy anything that can't be scanned or requires id, the last cashier literally couldn't read. It's worth it to drive somewhere else, just about any other store has better prices too.

It was crowded. Cashiers had 5 plus people in line and self check out works in a very odd manner. After a minute awaiting a clerk to clear an item, I simply moved to a new terminal to checkout. Frustrated and annoyed at the lack of efficiency. Organization was crazy. But the employees not directly associated with check out were, friendly and personable. It's not the individuals but whatever corporate directives initiated for whatever reasoning.

Typically I like shopping at Safeway. However, I sent my 16-year-old daughter to get some fruit and she bought the buy two get one free and forgot to grab the get one free. I understand this is her error. However the checkout agent should’ve caught this and told her to grab another one. With that said, I went in two days later and asked if I could have the third bowl of fruit that my daughter forgot to pick up and the cashier said that I would have to pay for it. Costco doesn’t ask any questions. They just serve the customer. I will not be shopping at this Safeway any longer.

I swear these pharmacists need to find another line of work. Completely and totally incompetent. I called in a prescription refill two weeks ago and the pharmacy techs are to lazy, or lack the ability to get on the phone and get stuff fixes between them and the insurance company.Today was the last time I will ever use the Safeway pharmacy the rude woman behind the counter was the last straw. I want to give this negative stars. My advice is avoid Safeway and use express scripts. It's time to put these lazy people out of work.

I've been a regular customer at Safeway for years due to its convenient location near my house. However, my recent experiences have been disheartening. The fresh bread section is consistently empty, and the quality of vegetables leaves much to be desired.The customer service department is a mixed bag. While a tall young man provides friendly and professional service, there is a lady who is consistently rude and unprofessional not only to myself, to other guests as well. She has her own favorite customers that she provides better customer service and the rest are not welcomed by her. Despite being a loyal customer, I was taken aback when she abruptly demanded my ID for a lotto ticket purchase, contrary to the years of simply providing my year of birth.The lack of a consistent ID policy raises questions about past practices. Was this a sudden change or an oversight? Regardless, the unfriendly encounter left a sour taste. Not even a basic greeting was offered. It's disheartening when a routine grocery trip becomes a hassle due to inconsistent policies and unprofessional behavior.I hope Safeway takes these concerns seriously to improve the overall shopping experience for loyal customers.

Picked up a grocery order in some frustrating circumstances completely unrelated to Safeway. The Safeway employees were patient, courteous and professional even though I was impatient and somewhat rude. I apologize for my behavior and thank you for treating me with courtesy and professionalism in spite of it.

For years, their plastic bags have reeked of cigarette smoke. It is absolutely disgusting to pull out your fresh produce and only be hit by that lingering smell. Obviously tied to long-time employees, and I suspect management itself, because only chronic smokers would miss that smell.

Safeway is open later than most stores and they always have a good variety. Their associates are always friendly and helpfull. Always mylate night go to store.

I went here to get Paxlovid after testing positive for Covid. I tried calling 3 times to see if the prescription was filled so I could avoid going into public with Covid for no reason. Unfortunately, neither of the 3 people working there would talk on the phone. The first two calls were picked up and promptly hung up without a word. The third time in rang and rang and said no one was available to answer the call.Upon arriving and standing in line, it turns out they don't even have the medication, nor could they find my prescription. Very bad experience.

The store is more upscale and a bit more expensive than the neighbor QFC and Walmart grocery stores. However they have a much different, and in many cases better, selection. It is has a wonderful deli section.

Used to really love this Safeway. Unfortunately it has become a pattern that the employees of the store line up at Starbucks every morning and make it hard for any customers coming in to get coffee and get to work on time. There was several just getting waters the other day and I feel bad for the lady trying to set the pastries out and help the employees and then help the customers who come in. Seems employees are more worried about their coffee then customers.

So frustrated with this location. The deli never is stocked, how is a grocery store constantly out of chipotle sauce, sausage, tortillas, bread or other main ingredients!! You sell deli items so wouldn’t it be a great idea to order in advance popular items so regular customers don’t repeatedly get turned off by being told 10 plus visits an item it out? Plus there’s never anything posted about the unavailable products, so bait and switch it is after you’ve started your order. Please go fill it or pull the sauce off the shelf, better yet STOCK the freaking Deli and anticipate the number of sales you get. When people come to your store with limited time and they wait longer to be served than it takes to be served, only to find after waiting and your order is started, you don’t have the item they come for pretty regularly is incredibly frustrating. We find the items we come for absent more often than not, that’s pretty bad for a grocery store, when the item is on the damn self in another area of the store. If we had other sandwich / breakfast delis near our location we wouldn’t continue this nonsense with Safe Way, great delicious deli items but what’s the damn point if we can’t get what we came for??

Closer Safeway to my home. And yes! Worse Safeway around. Specially pharmacy, pharmacy in this Safeway absolutely terrible- not professional and slow service. My recommendation- use any another option.

Covid-flu vaccines. Made online appointment. Showed up to sign in but they didn't have me in their systemThey fit me in anyway. Told I didn't have to sign in but to wait in the waiting room.However, they ran out of vaccines and had someone go to another store to get more, putting the appointment back 35 min. When the vaccines arrived, was told I had to sign in. Took another few minutes. At 11:00, I had to leave for another commitment. At 11:05 received a call it was my turn. But, they offered to get me in that afternoon. Already had plans. They really tried, but it was just a collection of unfortunate events...:)

Good overall, not the nicest in town. Premade food is overpriced. However this seems to be the only Safeway in town without druggies or homeless loitering around. Absolutely love free EV charging while I shop. Go here over qfc specifically for this!

Went their for flowers. Know they have a Starbucks but did not go through the store to see what items they stock. Was back again today. Visited the Starbucks and checked out the Deli Section. Also went to Customer Service. Everyone was nice and accommodating. Wheelchair accessible and handicapped parking.

Taking advantage of those with food stamps is not ok. Fix your self checkout machines. The store isn't allowed to charge for bags of food stamps is used. First of all, I was originally told over the phone that the store is allowed to charge and when I corrected them they backtracked and said we have to wait for a cashier because the store doesn't know how to fix that, but every other store has it done. The business is taking advantage of those that do not know this and don't have time to wait to be the 5th person to help while the only cashier for the area is walking all over the store for others. It is disgusting and it should stop. Plus, got charged taxes on the bag fees as well. Shame.

Editing my review. Safeway is a pretty good grocery store. It is our go to store for groceries. But they were part of the lobby to open up liquor sales, and they suck at it. You push the button and wait for 10 to 15 minutes for someone to help you by unlocking the cabinet. Then they put it in the customer service area and can't find it 10 minutes later. It pisses me off that they wanted part of the liquor sales then can't even make a simple sale. Go across the highway and shop there.

Went in for my Starbucks yumminess, and then had to grab a few things.. I am never on this side of town anymore, and so it's been quite a long time since I have actually came into this Safeway to shop. The employees were very friendly and helpful 🙂 overall, it's been a good experience and will be coming to this one more often!!

Love this store. Amply, easy parking. Free charging for my ev while I shop. Neat and clean store with friendly and helpful staff. Easily found my selections. Tasty hot food at take-out deli. No wait at self- checkout.

The deals are often great, but they haven't had good produce lately. We stopped doing online ordering because of the produce we'd get. Even shopping ourselves though, produce is just not good.
