Recently stayed here for our anniversary getaway, we will definitely be back! The room was beautiful, the jacuzzi tub was amazing, comfortable bed, and literally within walking distance of everything! The girls at the front desk were very sweet and helpful. The coffee/tea bar in the lobby was a great plus! The only thing I would have liked to see in our room is a microwave! Highly recommended!Walkability: Close to local shops and food.

We absolutely fell in love with the Channel Lodge, the room was super clean and comfortable, not to mention being beautiful. A small balcony looks out over the channel with all the boats and sail boats and the Rainbow Bridge, which was gorgeous in the sunrise. It is close to shopping (be sure and check out all the streets, not just the main street.) Our grown daughter was with us, and she had a separate bedroom with her own bathroom and shower, and it worked out perfectly! There is a large area to sit outside by the channel, and there was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had, with a really pretty balcony surrounded by flowers to sit on to eat it. I would recommend this to anyone, and we do plan on returning!

I love that you can open your windows to let the cool breeze in. A view of the water boats, and Indian Reservation is fantastic. The room was cozy with wood windows and regular blinds and felt like home. Super comfortable with nice breakfast and outdoor tables and chairs. The coffee was excellent. Very relaxing. Enjoyed shops, bookstore and eateries. We want to come back!Rooms: Smells like fresh air. Comfy bed and sitting chairs.Nearby activities: You can book a tour of nearby islands n ports.Walkability: Interesting shops to walk to. A grocery store is within walking distance and if you like wine there are nice tasting rooms.Food & drinks: Walking to nearby restaurants is easy. I love not having to get back in the car.

Great location and the room/breakfast will make you think this is a 3+ star hotel. The service for breakfast was amazing - the team working the breakfast was so hard working. The staff at the front desk though was not polite at all.My family stayed for whole week and not once did anyone at the front desk say a greeting (good morning, hello, good evening). NOTHING. Very surprising but if you don't the lack of warmness - the hotel is a good for location, cleanliness and breakfast staff. We saw porpoise, seals, bald eagles all from our balcony overlooking the channel.Walkability: Easy to all restaurants/cafes/bars/shops

We loved our stay at La Conner Channel Lodge. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and nice. Located on the street where all the stores and restaurants are made it easy to walk around. The patio on the water front is relaxing with the views and watching the boats. We will certainly stay here again in our next visit to the area.Rooms: The room, while on the small size, was comfortable, clean, and included everything we needed.Safety: Quiet with feeling safe at all hours.Walkability: Easy walk to restaurants and shopping.Noteworthy details: Staff were friendly, efficient, courteous, and accomodating.

The PERFECT place to stay in Skagit Valley! In fact, there’s nothing that can compare. We were traveling with a baby and stayed in the Admiral’s Suite which has a separate bedroom area we put her in. That extra room doesn’t have doors, but it does have heavy curtains that separate it from the main room and bathroom. It was the perfect way to have space that we could enjoy all evening once the baby was down!We weren’t able to get a waterfront room, but enjoyed walking along the pier down to all the shops and restaurants, so we felt like we got the waterfront experience even though we weren’t in a waterfront room.La Conner has so much charm and is a small, cozy, artsy town that’s entirely walkable, versus Mount Vernon that feels busy and lacks La Conner’s waterfront vibe. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Book really early if you want to go to the Tulip Festival!Walkability: You can walk anywhere you’d want to go in La Conner in 10 minutes or less from here! It’s at the north end of the pier leading down past all the shops and restaurants.

This is a ver charming hotel in the heart of their historic downtown. The room was clean and charming. It had a small TV with basic cable, fireplace, jetted tub, & a kitchen small fridge. The windows were covered with blinds so the room we had near the south side of the hotel had lights from the parking lot shine through all night. There was a cute fireplace and we chose a room with a jetted tub which was relaxing. The room was little overpriced when considering location, and very basic amenities. Other than that it was a nice place to unwind.

The hotel was clean and charming. We had a lovely view of the channel. I especially LOVED the pianist from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. I was disappointed with the customer service. Please teach your staff about the importance of client experience. Their book can wait. Our experience was diminished because of this.

I rented a room for a quick weekend getaway for my husband’s birthday. The Lodge itself was adorable. The town was really cute. The gal that checked us in at the front desk was so nice. We had dinner at the Oyster and Thistle per their recommendation and it was SO delicious. I would have given 5 stars for the actual experience.4 days after our visit I was charged an additional $27. I called to ask what the charge was for as I had already paid, and didn’t receive any additional receipts, invoice, a call, or an email. I was told that I stole a pillow and that I left one there in its place- which I didn’t. The person I spoke with scoffed on the phone and said “someone” would have to get back to me.I haven’t received a refund and still haven’t received any receipts for the charge, no email, no phone call. Nada. It’s only $27, but for something I didn’t do. So we will not be back as sad as that makes me.

Really enjoyed my stay. However, the bed was a little lumpy and the sheets a little thin. Pillows were great! The room furnishings were quite comfortable and appreciated. The staff were most helpful and accommodating and the Lodge itself was Northwest Style comfort! Definitely would recommend - and hope that when possible upgrades will happen.

Great location on the Swinomish channel in La Conner with views of the passing boats and occasionally eagles. The queen bed rooms are reasonably spacious with small decks overlooking the waterfront. The bed was very comfortable. The furniture and accessories are upscale. We found the staff to be engaging, capable, and informative. Breakfast was included, and very good. Highly recommend

Get a channel view room. You will not be disappointed. Just enough deck room to enjoy the sunset with someone special. Modern rooms with all the amenities. Good continental breakfast included. Hard boiled eggs, yogurt, pastries, instant oatmeal, juices and Fidalgo coffee!

My wife & I met old friends for a getaway. Weather turned out great. I would recommend the river view side of the building. Great views!! Easy walking distance to everything needed. Very enjoyable stay, Channel Lodge is 5 Star all the way!!

Disappointed. Paid a high price for the weekend and when I got to my room I was let down. I have a view of the parking lot. $650 view of the parking lot.The room has oversized chairs that dominate the room and make it next to impossible to enjoy the fire place in the room. The bathroom is small and very hot.I thought I was going to enjoy my stay but now every time I return to this room I feel as if I was tricked into paying full price for a half price room.

The hotel has a rustic charm with nice furnishings and amazing views. The staff was efficient and pleasant. The morning offerings of beverages and snacks was very nice. There's one significant drawback however...I understand that this is a non smoking establishment but given the amount of money I spent for two night's accommodations..and being an occasional smoker the are designated as the "smoking area" was a device used to extinguish cigarettes and was located next to a dumpster. How hard would it be to place a couple of chairs in an area away from the hotel??? It was uncomfortable. It really made me feel like a leper..I've stayed in some expensive and beautiful hotels and I've never been made to feel like an afterthought just because I occasionally smoke.

A little “winter” break escape! We stayed January 27-29 2020. Our room 215 was very nice and mainly quiet. The queen bed I found to be very comfortable although my wife felt the pillows could use a upgrade. Nice fireplace in room we used and was a nice warmth of a touch. I could here upstairs jacuzzi tub in AM I think. Fairly quiet though. We like the hotels no smoking policy and that includes balconies. Being off season hotel wasn’t too busy and the town was quiet too but still much to see and do. We wondered how old the lodge building was? We surmised built in early 70’s maybe. We asked and found to built 1990. Lobby has beautiful wood floors with a welcoming big fire place. I think a nice little happy hour in the lobby would be a nice touch. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

This has been a favorite of ours for many years of anniversary and birthday getaways in every season. The staff has always been wonderful, the accommodations clean, comfortable and cared for. The breakfast offered is generous and varied. They've done a great job in consideration of the CoV restrictions in 2020.We love the mini-balconies off of each room to sit in the evening to watch the water and the boats in the channel and the sunset into the quiet night. The rooms are spacious and inviting. We enjoy the fireplaces! The town is fun to explore and the people we've met there are friendly. There is truly an amazing assortment of fabulous and locally-owned eateries and shops to explore. There is a local grocery store and recreational opportunities are within minutes.
