Stopped on my way through La Conner on a bike ride early on a Saturday morning. Fantastic Americano and was able to fill my water bottles. All sorts of awesome indigenous artwork, stickers, ceramic mugs, books, all in the coolest little cafe, I was in a bit of a rush to get back on the road so I didn’t get a chance to check everything out and didn’t have the means to take anything with me but will definitely be stopping by next time I’m in town.

Awesome little coffee hut a couple of blocks off the main shoping drag in La Conner. Great native vibe with a cute selection of artisan gifts and crafts, plus superb locally-roasted coffee. Super-friendly owner. Wish they had more pastries, but the service and coffee more than made up for it. And they're dog-friendly! Indoor and outdoor seating available.

With Swinomish and Tlingit tribal backing and focused on the combination of great coffee and community spirit this is a very different coffee shop compared to more corporate enterprises.Expect lots of great Northwest tribal art along with the great coffee, made with love.

We discovered the coffee shop because it said there were local baked goods. Sadly, there were none. But after talking to the owner we decided to try a cup of coffee. She assured us it was wonderful and they roast the beans themselves. Well she was right. I had the best Coffee. She also had great referrals of places to go for baked goods and or breakfast.

Came here while on vacation visiting my mother-in-law and this coffee shop is the epitome of cozy, little town, coffee shop. There’s a gift shop that had quite the selection and the barista was amazing. I think she could tell I was a tourist because she asked me if I wanted Starbucks style macchiato or if I was okay with how she makes them, which I thought was considerate and I told her just make it for me how she would normally and it put Starbucks to shame. Definitely will have to come back.

OMG!!!! Love this cozy cafe!!!! My Mocha was made to perfection! Michele/Molly the owner of the coffee shop, was absolutely divine! She welcomed me with such warmth and love!! I appreciate her and her generosity! Looking forward to going back there to this delightful woman owned , native owned business!!!Parking: Great Parking!!!

This is a fantastic coffee shop here in La Conner. They roast their own coffee, which is great, and have a zero-waste refill program. The art they curate for sale in the shop is also beautiful and highlights talented indigenous artists. The product and service are wonderful, I always have a nice visit when I go in and I'm grateful to have them in our community!

Such a cozy, comfortable place to enjoy a hot (or iced if you're like me!) beverage. I had the London Fog tea drink today...Earl Grey Tea, Lavender Syrup, vanilla and milk. SO YUMMY! My husband got his hot and loved it. In addition to all the coffee and tea drinks, there's baked goodies and take home bags of their freshly roasted coffees. I was also able to pick up a few gifts from their unique collection Native made puzzles, notecards, calendars, ornaments, and much more!Update: 8/6/2023 Somehow this review above didn't post originally a year and a half, but I was there again today and had the best Iced Wildberry Macchiato!! And bought some awesome earrings!

Great local spot with the best people! I stopped in on a great day to check the place out and came away smiling. They have a wonderful selection of Native jewelry, art, gifts, and decor. Plus, my mocha was delicious! There's a couple of off street parking spots but plentiful street parking around the back. Just across from the new library!

Every serious coffee drinker has a favorite "brand" or flavor of the brew, medium, light, dark and robust. City dwellers in the PNW certainly know which brew they choose from their personal local Strbkks. After moving to a small community I prefer to buy local for most needs and coffee is certainly one of those needs. All that to say I found my favorite flavor in La Conner's Beaver Tails Coffee Shop! Love this town and this coffee that Michelle and Tony deliver! Excellent choices and customer service! 🤓

Full disclosure, I have known co-owner Michelle for over 20 years. She is a force of nature (in a POSITIVE way).This “just over a year old” business is the physical manifestation of her underlying kindness and openness, and highlights her continuing endeavors to be an instrument of good in the world.The fresh roasted coffee is GREAT! Seriously!! You may order it through the website, and co-owner Tony roasts it up and gets it out to you. If you have a chance to get to La Conner to visit the shop, be prepared to meet interesting people, and hang out for a few.

Absolutely divine beans here. Their espresso is dark, delicious, and full of robust flavor. My drink is made to order every time, and the syrups are high quality. If you have a sweet tooth they have a local bakery, Water Tank Bakery, providing healthy flavorful baked cookies, breads, and biscotti that taste so good its like your grandma made them. Try the ginger cookies. Get the holiday gift box for someone that loves tea time, my favorite is the lemon cookies. The atmosphere is cozy with a fire, lots of art, and a great place to sit and chat with a new or an old friend.Dietary restrictions: I love substituting with Oat milk, there is many non dairy options for your dietary needsKid-friendliness: very kid friendly, my kids love the hot chocolates and ginger cookies, my son likes the london fogs.

Very cool and fun coffee place. My wife and I loved it. We will definitely go back everytime that we're in La Conner. I cant say enough nice things about how delicious their coffee is. The owner said that they roast the beans themselves. Based on how smooth and delicious it was, I can believe it. Owner was also very kind and seems to have a passion for her shop. Definitely recommend!
