I love love love this shop! We've been coming here for ammo for a few years and have purchased several firearms as well. I bought my first firearm here and the experience was perfect. I have been picky about my first purchase because I have small hands so I've done some looking here over the last few months. Leah was amazing and helped me when I struggled with a few while browsing (thank you leah!). I'm so glad I found the right one here, I would gladly support this business any day of the week!Ladies! If you are inexperienced and going to shops full of men makes you uncomfortable (as it was for me) this is your place. Melody is amazing and will make you feel welcome the moment you step in and you will feel comfortable the entire time you are there.

Howdy, I felt compelled to write up a quick but useful review for Sure Shot Guns and Pawn because of the outstanding customer service my wife and I have received. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Melody as well as Cody and Bill, who I must say are very wonderful people to talk to and do business with. If you are looking for honesty and great selection, you can count on these guys. I have reviewed previous Google reviews for Sure Shot and I must say I definitely do not agree with Josh Schilling's review because I have had multiple points of contact with this shop and I watched them interact with other customers with respect and dignity. My wife and I never felt pushed into a sale and I have personally purchased ammunition that I could not get for that low of a price in my local area.They even carry some of the harder-to-find calibers like .50cal and such. I also was able to handle many different firearms while I was there. I would like to say that Cody McDaniel's review should have left specifics that would help consumers instead of giving a business 1 star as people that want honest reviews might misinterpret poorly written reviews. Reviews are supposed to include useful information and is not a place to go when your upset. I encourage anyone into sport shooting or hunting to check out this shop. We were willing to drive an hour each way to receive the hospitality that we expected and it was well worth the trip! I would recommend Sure Shot and plan to visit their store in the near future. This is the closest gun shop to me currently and I'm really happy about it. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The prices are slightly higher than some other places but they have an amazing selection and I'd rather spend a little more to buy local. I know if I have any sort of issue they'll be able to help solve the problem.

I've been a customer for a few years now, and every visit is great. Yesterday I purchased my first suppressor with Sure Shot. Melody and Cody were there to help, and they made the process very simple and fast. The Silencer Shop kiosk at their store takes care of all the fingrprints and paperwork for you. Great customer service and great prices. I will definitely be doing business with them again.

Hands down best shop to visit. Prices are fair, customer service is excellent. Catch 'em when they're not too busy and you can handle firearms to your hearts content. The only place I've ever felt comfortable buying a handgun (two so far). Support your local gun shop!

The folks at sure shot are super helpful and very friendly. I was looking for a 1911, and they were able to get it new for cheaper than I could find it anywhere else. They ordered it, and it came in about 2 days. While most things are very competitively priced, some stuff is a tiny bit more expensive. Frankly, I am willing to pay the extra dollar or two just because they are always so friendly. I like to support small local businesses. If you have any questions, they really know their stuff, and can order just about anything you can think of.

Prices on ammunition are very high. Owner is very pushy about his merchandise. Does not make me feel very comfortable I'm getting a good deal when the owner is physically pushing a rifle in my hands and insisting I cannot find a cheaper price locally. Which is laughable. Bi-Mart in Ellensburg has cheaper ammunition and Brother In Arms is much more likely to cut you a deal.

My My My. I have never seen anyone price gouge quite like this guy. It should be a crime to charge what he charges for ammunition. And to be rude on top of it? They might have knowledge and decent inventory, but he is a straight up crook for charging his fellow Americans those outrageous prices. He should be ashamed of himself.

The folks at Sure Shot are great! Always helpful and friendly with great customer service. I stopped by the other day to pick up some targets but they were out. Melody asked me to pick them out in the catalog and they would arrive in about a week. She called THE NEXT DAY to tell me they were in!

As people have stated prices are way too high. They are crooks. Some of the worst prices around. If you’re looking for a great experience and far priced firearms look at Bi-Mart or Rehv.

I recently got accepted into the academy of a local law enforcement agency as a reserve, so I went looking for a handgun to purchase. The two workers, who I assume own the place, were very friendly and patience even though I was asking a lot of questions and didn't know much about handguns. They helped me pick a used handgun for a great deal.

As the other individual stated, staff is pushy on any sale they can convience you of. Very addaminent about their prices being cheap which is somewhat true. It's not fun to look at something and get that "used car salesperson" pressure to buy. Nice people to chat with, just be mindful about asking to look at anything.

Transferred a gun here for $25, which is now cheaper than a lot of places around. Owners are very friendly, holding the door for me and letting me handle my transfer prior to payment. Other FFLs required me to pay before even starting the 4473.

Called originally to just look at a gun I was on the fence about so they ordered it for me to look. I never went to go look at it then I found one else where and never called them to let them know. Which I didn't know was a thing. Ended up receiving multiple calls almost two months later and the lady asks if I still want it and I told her no I found it elsewhere and she goes "you didn't think of giving me a call to let me know huh that's kind of a messed up thing to do" well I told her I didn't know I had to do that when all I asked was to look at it. And she gave a terrible analogy of me going to buy batteries for her then she doesn't need them anymore. So I told her well I'll just go return those batteries. Kind of shut her up and she said this is a handshake kind of business. Well to me it's a screw the customer let's give them a call if they don't buy from us type of business and they have lost my business along with any of my friends and family. I will tell you that they are too pushy so don't even ask to look at a gun there.

I've lost count of how many times I've been in here and found an awesome deal, the people who work their are always friendly and funny. I live in Ellensburg but I always make the little drive to Kittitas to check out what they have first.
