Was a nice cozy place to be. I went two times, one for a birthday and one for fun. The staff were nice and helped with the party. The reason why I'm giving four stars is because when I got there it smelled of litter quite a bit and had to open the door I'm hoping that they will add some ventilation. Also they had some very cute kitties!

The place is very cute and and the staff are very friendly. The cats are absolutely adorable. However the whole cat cafe experience was very underwhelming. You have to pay for a reservation to see the cats, which is fine and I am sure is a great way to provide funds for the cats, but there were too many people in such a small space and a lot of kids and parents who were very rude and inconsiderate of others people's chances at interacting with the cats and would just barge in and interrupt your time with the cats. It wouldn't be as bad if you didn't have to pay for the experience, and again I understand why they do. But maybe they should limit the number of reservations. The cats are fairly shy and stay in their kennels and their kennels are in a very small room so it brings the whole crowd of people into a small area and not able to use the larger entertaining space.

This place is fantastic. My 13 year old step daughter had her birthday party here last weekend and everything exceeded our expectations. The owner was incredibly attentive, making sure we were satisfied with everything from start to finish. The cats are very well taken care of and interactive and the staff is great. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful time at the cat cafe today! The people are very friendly, and most importantly, the kitties are all well cared for and absolutely adorable. I would have adopted these two today if I didn’t already have three of my own.Im so happy that they’ve moved to Kirkland. My girls eat Tiki Cat, Northwest Naturals, and Almo … and they carry all of these here, so that’s very convenient.We picked up a few cat toys today and a human gift. The shop is very cute.If I ever needed to board my cats, this is the only place I would feel comfortable doing so. They also offer grooming, and it’s very reasonably priced.

Amazing place! We had a great time visiting the Cat Cafe. It is a super cute spacious space with tons of adorable adoptable kitties hanging out! Highly recommend it if you’d like to go play with some cats or are looking to adopt! So fun. And then there is a great little store also with tons of cat food, toys, supplies and cute cat themed items. They also do boarding and grooming. The whole place is really bright and clean and the employees were nice!

Nancy and her team are the most caring and wonderful individuals! They explain everything there is to know about cats and are very sweet and gentle with them. The cat cafe is really relaxing and fun to be in!If you need don’t have a cat, want a cat, or need something for your cat the Whole Cat and Kaboodle is your stop!

We saw the cafe signs while in the area for the British Pantry and had to check it out. The storefront has a huge variety of fresh, canned, and dried cat food and treats with multiple displays of toys and enrichment. One of the shopkeepers asked about our house cat and sent us with a couple of treat samples he'd enjoy.After that we inquired about the cat cafe, reserved a half hour slot, and came back an hour later.The cat room itself was very enjoyable. Adoptable kittens and cats of various ages have full reign of the room filled with lounging areas for both felines and people. In the entryway is a mini coffee and tea bar with a variety of bagged teas and coffee pods.Keep an eye out for Cheerio the shop cat when you visit!

I took my cat here to be groomed and was extremely impressed not only with the price but also the service. Typically I have spent way more on grooming for the exact same service. They were so quick and I was confident she was in good hands!

The place is well established and maintained, the staff is very accommodating and friendly, cats are cats. My biggest concern that the place seem being run by cats. At least how else would you explain this?* they have parking spots clearly labeled as reserved for The Whole Cat and Kaboodle, but neither stuff nor visitors are allowed to park there. Clearly that's for cats!* they have online booking, but you can book for one person only, as if this is a lonely heart club, not a family friendly establishment. Only a cat would treat humans like this!* finally, the only way to get receipt at their shop is by email which does not work, presumably because of the spotty internet around the place. I don't know how exactly, but cats seem be involved here too.

We visited the cat cafe for my son's 10th birthday. I love having a cafe on the Eastside (vs Seattle or Bellingham) and that this place is rescue based. The cats were well cared for (those in the boarding area looked particularly comfortable). The staff was kind. Everything was clean. And although we could see litter boxes in the room it was obvious the staff kept up on this because you could not smell them (nor were they covered up with chemical air fresheners). We loved that we could give the cats a treat during our visit if they wanted. Aside from other guests and occasional grooming sounds the entire place is very quiet!The only things preventing me from 5 stars was the cafe experience itself, in comparison with other cafes. Although we had a good time and will return I am leaving some constructive feed back as someone with professional cat experience.I appreciated that the snacks and drinks were included in the reasonable ticket price but sugary soda or hot coffee left us lacking on a hot day. Iced coffee or lower sugar fridge drinks besides water would be wonderful, as would some more cafe type foods or healthier snacks (banana bread, packs of nuts, protein bars, apple slices, etc).& While there is a staff member in proximity in the cafe room behind a partial wall (who did check in on us) we were there the same time as a family with younger kids who weren't well parented on how to interact with cats. Maybe asking when children attend what their experience level with cats is or keeping a closer eye out during first time visits would help this. Their presence made the cats nervous enough that my son and I didn't get much interaction until they left (luckily they did not stay the whole session so we did still end up with a few cuddles - Callie was our favorite once she was comfortable!). In other cafes there is a bit more staff presence to assure everyone knows how to keep the cats happy. Someone to gently show kids how to hold cats or remind them of good practices would be great.The other difference with other local area cafes is that there is usually a more comfortable and aesthetic cat play room. Although looks aren't everything this did contribute to being crammed in with the active toddler and preschool kids. Other cafes have places where cats have kitty doors to escape to other areas with litter boxes and such instead of having their kennel in the room where kids are as well as comfy seating on the floor or large bench type seating (Neko is a great example of this!). As I said, we couldn't smell the litter boxes but I do also worry with kids having access to that area or being able to disturb cats while they use it. The smaller wicker chairs at whole cat and kaboodle made less room for kitties to come to us on their terms. Some floor pillows tucked under the tables or a cozy corner floor area could help! Or maybe tucking away an area where the kennels are or in the office for kitties who need a break.

I went here today to groom and bathe my cat Mallie. She was badly matted and I wanted to find a place where it can be groomed and bathed ASAP. I called yesterday to schedule and it is surprising that there’s availability on the very next day!The cat cafe is awesome and they let me stay there for free while waiting for my cat’s grooming session. During the grooming, they kindly discuss with me about the alternative to water bath and suggesting a shaving due to the condition of my cat fur. The price is reasonable and my cat loves the treats they offered. I can tell how much they care about cats. 100% returning if my cat needs another service!

We've taken our 2 Siberian kittens here for various grooming services on a number of occasions, and The Whole Cat and Kaboodle has been an excellent experience each time.The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and obviously all care very deeply for the animals they are working with. Plus our 2 kittens got sent home with adorable bows!

The staff here are so friendly! I come here on lunch breaks sometimes for some quick cat cuddles. Among their cat related wares and services they board cats and adopt cats here. There is a catiary where you can interact with all the adoptable kitties. Sometimes the litter smell is pretty intense, because, cats. It really depends on what age kitties they have. Definitely expect that. They have toys you can use to play with the kitties. And you can donate a few bucks on the honor system to get snacks for the furballs. They have everything cat related. They have a photo wall of the adoptable kitties and their bios. Love love love it here!

Super fun to hang out with the cats in here. Love the board they have set up with bios of each cat etc. Plenty of space now, the new location is a huge improvement.Great group activity, especially as a stop with the other nearby places in Kirkland downtown.

I’ve been taking my cat Dusty to this place for grooming for several years now, and while I do wish that they had stayed in Redmond, because that was just so much easier to get to and parking was simpler, their new location is much bigger and probably better for the cats. They do a great job, I love that they cater to cat owners.

Save your money on the cat cafe. We were in there for 10 min and pet 1 cat sleeping. There was another one but another family was petting it. Maybe other days or other times there are more cats. Just wish we didn't make the trek out there for this.

I went to the Cat Café with my friends. I love cats but don't have one of my own due to allergies, so I popped a Zyrtec and went in. It was an awesome way to get to hang out with a bunch of kitties & relax with friends and coffee! There were also options for different juices and decaffeinated drinks. I also bought a small toy for the cat I was cat-sitting this summer. All of the cats were super friendly and the atmosphere was fun & bright as well. 10/10 will be returning!

My two kitties, Mayberry and Mochi, both needed nail trims. I found out that The Whole Cat and Kaboodle offers walk in services, so I took both cats and found a parking right in front. The staff warmly greeted me and carried both carriers in and promptly started on the nail trims. By the time I had shopped the store and admired the cat cafe, they were all done! It was a wonderful first experience with a fabulous staff, fun shopping and a quick nail trim for Mayberry and Mochi. I’m a fan, and will be back with my cats for the next kitty pedi!

My long hair cat is always so happy after her grooming! She use to hide under the bed, closet for most of the time before I started taking her. Not all cats can properly groom themselves. Staff is helpful, friendly. They’ve always been wonderful with time and scheduling. Treat your cat, they may love it!
