Everyone at this store is so kind! Our dog gets so excited when she sees the store. They have so many toys and treats and always add in something free. Our dog got free ice cream on her birthday too! Probably the best pet store around and we love shopping here also the prices are great with an amazing food selection and lots of toys

The staff at this store is the absolute best! I have an elderly cat with kidney issues and a rescue dog with soundness issues as well as a rare condition that requires a specialized diet. There is always something wrong with these 2 and when it comes to diet, the vets usually steer us towards the medical grade foods which are not seeming to work for them. On more than one occasion, I have had the team at this store offer to research ingredients and manufacturers to help us get the right products. Their recommendations have helped immensely! They never balk at taking extra time with us and I am grateful. For example, I recently bought a new bag of food but my husband said it was the wrong one. He went back to exchange and they reviewed our purchase history and determine it was the right one. When he got home, he said oh it was the right one to which I replied "oh so you just went over there and wasted their time" and he said "yes" lol. Anyhoo, you get what I am saying. This is a great team and I am happy their in our neighborhood!

At the end I told casier it was my first time at this store and he gave me Welcome card, definitely will be back 🤗

The sticks of fish are $0.99 ea at Mudbay. Totally fine, except this Mudbay BROKE ALL OF THEM UP. Some into thirds, the whole basket of them.... NOT APPROPRIATE OR ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR - SHAME ON YOU!👉FOOL SOMEONE ELSE👈

Mud Bay is my dog’s favorite store! They always offer her treats and give her tons of affection as soon as we enter the store. They are very friendly and helpful with answering questions regarding animal products! I don’t mind it being a little pricey because I know it’s good quality stuff! Always leave spending more money than I intended but with a happy dog it’s always worth it!

They are super helpful. Great selection of food. And above all else the prices were so reasonable- I was shocked! They also give out a lot of samples so you can let your pup try the food before you buy a whole bag. Their return policy is amazing and any not eaten returned product gets donated to a shelter.They also have a huge selection of freeze dried treats and durable stuffed animals!My little corgi loved the compact rawhide bone they recommend for him, he's been chewing it for two hours straight!

*Request to MudBay at the bottom of review.Mud Bay is the only place that carries pate' food my cat will eat. She must have been a human in her past life because she is picky and likes fresh meat with variety.Most canned foods smell rotten, but not at MB. Except for some of the fish, they all smell like human grade foods.Plus, if you buy a dozen, you get a discount. Yes, the food costs more, but she is eating it and is not vomiting it up anymore. My once too skinny cat is now only thin and bulking up for the winter.* I am a manual wheelchair user. There is ample wheelchair parking outdoors, and the store is roomy enough to get around. I was impressed with how helpful, but not intrusive, the employees are at MB. One time, a person even carried the basket as I filled it. Not having the hard plastic digging into my legs was a relief.**My one request of the store, and all stores for this matter. I wish you supplied small push carts that could attach to wheelchairs with velcro or baskets with couchioned, smooth bottoms and straps to keep it from falling off my lap. As nice as it was to have personalized service, being able to do things for myself is preferable.Thanks for listening.

This store is AMAZING! They have tons of stuff for cats and dogs—a great selection of food, toys, treats, collars, accessories, and everything else you might need. And the employees are wonderful—knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and so passionate about their work. It was a joy to visit this store. Thank you Mud Bay!

Everyone is always so helpful at mud bay-any location and they always want to see photos of my puppy if I don't bring her in. I feel like they care for her and love that they give samples of both the treats and the kibbles.

I had the most amazing experience at Mud Bay today!! The staff was so helpful and really went above and beyond to help me and my new shy pup feel comfortable and find the right food for us! Not only did she talk us through the different options, but she also sent us home with a variety of samples to try as well. I wish I would’ve caught her name because she was AMAZING! I can’t say enough good things about this store and the staff, you just made a lifelong customer out of me. Thank you again for all of your help! Kono and I appreciate it so much!

I rarely leave negative reviews, however my experience today warrants it. And for awareness, I used to really enjoy shopping at Mud Bay.I made a purchase of several items in Jan 2021 at this location. When asked if I wanted a receipt, I asked the cashier if it was required to refund an item if it didn't fit. The cashier told me no, and that I only needed my phone number as purchases are tracked when providing the phone number during the purchase. I went in today (10 days later) to return a coat that was too small (still had the tag) and a dog carrier that was defective (it had a broken zipper when we attempted to use it for the first time). I had the broken zipper piece and tags for the dog carrier. Upon my arrival, I was asked for my phone number and was told that he couldn't locate my purchase via my phone number. Another gal came over to assist and said they can see I made the purchase, however they can't see the items that I purchased (I had bought several items that day in a single transaction). The staff then told me that their "two systems don't talk to each other and therefore can offer store credit only". When I inquired as to why the system issue is my problem, they told me all that can be offered is store credit. I told them it wasn't acceptable and I wanted my refund to my card for the two items that I was returning. They then told me to come back when their manager is back in four days. I'm appalled at the lack of service and that lack of kindness to help me further (perhaps offering to bring it to their manager's attention and will call me with an update).My recommendation to the consumer, if you choose to give this company your business, be sure to get a receipt and hope to goodness you don't need to make a return.

This place sucks to work at, you do your best to be a friendly open and honest staff member, form connections with customers, but management doesn't recognize any of it and only listens to hearsay from power-tripping leads about your character and begins chastising you relentlessly month after month with silly non-issue write-ups due to gossip and in the name of their arbitrary school of thought and ethics. I ask anyone who took any of my advice about their cat or dogs health to visit all the best or pet pros instead. You may remember me as the guy with long curly blonde hair. Remember, kindness comes from people, not corporations. I wish you all luck on the journey to keep your pets healthy and safe! And advise you all to disregard the last lengthy positive review that mentions me as I do not work there anymore.- Cheers

Mud Bay at this Kirkland location has some of the nicest people you'll ever come across working there and boy, are they passionate about their kitty cats. The guy with the curly hair (sorry I forget his name) knows the ins and outs of cat food everything. I mean he's like a walking cat encyclopedia. I always appreciate their tips on what to get if you're transitioning to a different type of diet and you can feel rest assured because most of their products are actually pretty good for your cat. Pricing is fair and the return policy is exceptional. I do wish they had a little bit more when it comes to their cat toys but you can always count on getting the basics here. I highly encourage you to stop by and take a peek. Some of my favorite brands are Farmina, Instinct, Fromm, Orijen, Nulo and FirstMate.

I work in Kirkland Urban and was so excited to have a Mud Bay so close by. My shiba has been having some issues with allergies and isn’t super thrilled about his prescription dog food. I went in looking for suggestions on products to make his food more appetizing without compromising his allergies. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable in their suggestions. They sampled me a few canned food with really great ingredients and he LOOOOOOVES it.

They have a good little selection of toys food snacks all that good stuff for your dog and cat but look elsewhere for smaller animals like bunnies. They do not carry bunny pellets.

I came to this location to have my dog seen by the mobile vet service. Their was a daschound meet up happening and was so adorable. They validated my parking in the garage. Staff seemed kind at Mud Bay.
