We were looking for a pet rabbit and I trust Denny's pet world because they've been around a long time. I'm glad that the girl working there took her job very serious and she actually had us wait a couple of days to really decide if we wanted to get our rabbit or not. She didn't just toss us the rabbit and say bye! I can tell she really cares about them and doesn't want them to go to a bad home. We love our new little furry friend and appreciate all the help Denny's gave us!

Great selection, staff is extremely helpful. I went there to get some feeder goldfish, for the kids to keep as pets in their playroom. They I wanted dark dark orange, but Denny’s only had two available but told me to come back on Friday afternoon because they get their shipment then. They did have tons, I mean the tank was loaded full of silver, light orange and spotted ones. I highly recommend Denny’s Pet World, 5 stars and I’ll be back.

Amazing store, professional and knowledgeable staff, thoughtful selection and variety of supplies for any types of pets!They have rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, fish, parakeets for adoption!It is allowed to pet their rabbits!Highly recommend for parents of kids with special needs who seek a pet for their emotional support! It is the right place!

Denny's is always a wonderful experience, staff is very knowledgeable on their departments and they know specials like the back of their hand. We've adopted several hamsters from Denny's over the past few years and they've all been sociable and healthy. Their breeders are all local (they do not disclose names for privacy) and I find the animals have a much better nature and health than corporate pet stores. They also provide a lot of safer products for small animals, and ensure people are aware of human housing requirements. 10/10 pet store, we always come for our pet supplies be it for our dog, cats, or smaller babies.

Thomas and Stella helped my son and me set up a shrimp tank. They were both extremely helpful and patient during the process. I had a lot of questions and concerns since this is my first tank. They were very knowledgeable and shared really great tips. The entire staff are very welcoming. I will definitely go back to Dennys for any future purchases.

Denny Pet World has it all! No matter what kind of pet you have, you’ll find everything you need to care for it here. A family owned Kirkland establishment since 1974, this community leader has proven time and again their dedication to our pets! We love the self serve dog wash and so does Oscar. It is always sparkling clean and there are many shampoos to choose from as well as grooming tools and fresh clean towels. Their selection of pet food is extraordinary! Whether you are looking for dry, canned or fresh frozen, you’ll find it here. Oscar especially liked the treat aisle and of course, a trip through the aquarium so he could see the fish. They always have bunnies, birds and reptiles too. I love that they frequently have adoption events and annual pet food sales. The friendly and knowledgeable staff is another plus. Friendly service and nice vibe but for sure, pricier than most places I go. As a snake and gecko breeder, I'm usually spending $110 a week at my usual place. The same items were almost $200 here. But I had no choice, so I made the exception. Thry hsve amazing fish though and this is my biggest reason for being there. Overall if you need something in a pinch it's a good place to go but there's other places for better savings.

The best pet supply store!! Huge selection for cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, fish and small animals! Food as well as toys, enrichment, and enclosures/tanks. They even have house plants.They also have some pets on site, usually birds, small animals like rabbits, hamsters, etc. and reptiles. All of them seem clean, well cared for and with good hiding places so they can feel safe as possible in a temporary store location.Employees are well informed and happy to help you with recommendations as well as to help you handle any animals you are considering buying.

I used to absolutely love Denny’s Pet World and their top quality selection, but recently have had a few poor experiences here.A few months back I purchased a rabbit from them, as I assumed they purchased from reputable, ethical breeders that perform their due diligence, such as regularly testing their animals. However a few months later during a vet check-up, my bunny tested positive for both roundworms and E. Cuniculi- an extremely contagious, incurable, and potentially fatal disease. She has NEVER been outside (other than in a carrier) or come in contact with any other animals. There is literally no other way she could’ve contracted it. When I spoke to the store to share my concerns, the “rabbit manager” told me that was impossible, and blatantly dismissed me as some ignorant first time rabbit owner. Ultimately, they did refund me for the cost of my rabbit, but basically told me that it was not on them and that they would not be informing their breeders. So as a warning to everyone else- DO NOT BUY RABBITS (or other small mammals for that matter) FROM THEM.On another occasion, the fish room manager told me that he would pay $6 per fish for corydoras I was selling. However, it wasn’t until AFTER he had already taken them and added them to their tank that he told me he would only pay $2 per fish due to their size. If I had the time in that moment, I honestly would have made him net every single one of them and taken them back.I used to think this store was one of the few locally owned, responsible, ethical pet stores left that truly cared about their customers and animals- doesn’t seem that way anymore. Huge disappointment because I LOVED this store and would always to others.They still get two stars because they carry some quality products (albeit overpriced), and some of the employees working the floor are very knowledgeable and passionate about animals.

Love this pet store. I have been coming here since 1998. It was Tiki that kept bringing me back in at first. I would stop in after school and say hi to her.Over the years I have bought a variety of fish, all of them were healthy and ick free. I've bought cat and dog products, all fairly priced. They even have live feeder rodents in various sizes.Staff is always friendly. Not pushy, and very knowledgeable. The place is always clean and well organized and stocked.They use to have a kitty adoption room, but have turned it into a live plant room. So I don't believe they have kitty adoption days anymore. Also you use to be able to pet the bunnies and guinea pigs, but that too has changed as they now have wire lids on all the cages.Love their indoor pond, they have some huge mystery snails in the pond that i am so jealous over!!! And a variety of fish and aquatic frogs swimming around in the pond as well.This is definitely my go to pet store for 26 years now. (Sadly Tiki passed away a few years ago, but they still have her corner up to honor her)

Have 10-15% pets and the rest is items for sale. Fishes look healthy as well as other pets. Love to visit this place and check out. Would be nice to see bigger variety of pets.

I have been buying fish from here for about a year now and I have been very appreciative of all the help I have received from all the fish employees they are always willing to take time to help me and answer my questions and never are annoyed if it takes up a lot of their time. I also want to say Jason who works there is awesome, he has so much knowledge about fish and truly cares about them. I would not have successfully been able to keep some of the fish in my tanks if it wasn’t for him. He is always extremely nice and I will 100% be back to get more fish from him.

Great selection of fish and shrimp.Staff is super helpful. I think the guys name was Brandon ? But he was super helpful in helping me determine the best course of ich treatment in my mixed tank of Tetras (with ich) and Neocaridina shrimp. The product I wanted was not in stock since their supplier was stocked out. He went the extra mile to tell me what products to avoid which would be harmful to shrimp and even suggested the nearest store that would have the product since it was an emergency. Overall pleasant experience. I plan on making this my go to shop in the area despite it being 20-30 mins from my home.

They have Hikari frozen bloodworms in the larger slab pack. It's also fun to look at the animals. The aquarium folks are knowledgeable. Some of the aquarium supplies can be found cheaper online for the same item. I like that they have a pretty broad selection of misc products, despite the store itself not being very large. They allow pets to come in, so sometimes I take my dog "shopping" and let him smell things.

i adopted my 3 white's tree frogs from here, they are all very healthy. the animals seem well cared for especially by pet store standards (I'm looking at you pet smart). the staff are extremely helpful and kind. this is my favourite pet store.

Helpful, patient and knowledgeable - well I felt like a bit of a noob coming in with a fish tank project that I’d almost finished but didn’t have any equipment spaced out for it, but Jonathan was a legend! He helped me find filters that would work and walked me through all the basics of Aquariums and how to clean and take care of them! Safe to say my 4 year old little boy is stoked with his new fish tank!

Back in early February, my friend and I decided to make a trip to Denny's Pet World all the way from Silverdale just to take a look at what all was available. The store is very nice and well put together. All of the birds, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and reptiles looked very healthy and active.Little did I know that after having spent almost an hour contemplating buying a snake, I would end up going home with one! I've had my corn snake for roughly 3 months now and I'm happy to report that she's doing great. The staff was extremely knowledgeable at answering all of my questions. I would most definitely recommend Denny's 👌🏼

We are purchasing a black capped conure from Denny’s Pet World. The entire staff does a phenomenal job hand raising their baby birds. The store is always clean and well staffed with knowledgeable and kind people.Once you have paid a deposit on your bird they encourage you to come visit often during the time they stay in the store before being weaned. I have come by 3-4 days a week to bond with baby Inky so when he comes home it will be less stressful for him.Everyone who works there dotes on these birds and it shows. The birds are healthy, happy, and playful. The cage setup is the best I’ve seen at any pet store and allows for lots of comical interactions with the birds while also keeping them safe.I can’t wait to bring our little Inky home to join our flock. I’ll never buy a bird anywhere else.

I discovered this place shortly after moving here and never shopped anywhere else since. This place makes petsmart look like Walmart. Animals and employees look happy and all the enclosures are clean. Store aquariums look like they're set up by experts.
