Five stars aren’t enough for the wonderful and compassionate team at All About Cats! I’m so thankful Sydney is a patient there— even if Sydney isn’t! Dr Lester always ensures all my questions/concerns are answered. And all the Vet Techs are fabulous. I’ve had the most interactions with Kelsey LVT and she is simply amazing; very knowledgeable and caring. The receptionists are also great; always patient and helpful. Thank you AAC team!

I first brought my fur baby Nala to All About Cats back in January of 2019. I had gone to many other vets before that treated dogs and cats too but none seem to care as much as All About Cats do for cats well being. I love all the receptionists here, they're so caring and lovely to talk to, always made me feel welcomed. And when I would call for a question or appointments they were soo patient and would inform me of any and everything they could. Sadly, my cat got incurable oral squamous cell carcinoma and as hard as this was for both me and my cat, All About Cats made it possible to let my cat live his last 3 months of life without pain and lots of love. They tried everything they could to accommodate me with appointments when I needed them early on. In the end, I had to bring my cat to All About Cats one last time and we said goodbye to him. He was about 12/13 years old on December 27, 2022 when I last saw his beautiful face. They offered to send him to a cremation service, a box for his ashes and his paw print. They were so nice to me and my cat till his last breath. If I hadn't moved so far away I would bring all my cats to All About Cats. After a few weeks of my cat passing, they sent me a card with all of the staff signing it, it really warmed my heart made me smile and brought so many happy tears. Thank you, All About Cats for everything.

Dr Lester and his staff have given outstanding care to my cats over the years. When he moved from Seattle to Kirkland I felt compelled to make the trek thru 405 and I-5 traffic. As my cats have become older their care is no longer routine. As a now retired physician I am a pretty critical cat Mom. Dr Lester’s exam, and clinical judgment are excellent and nicely balanced by quality of life issues and the concerns of the cat owner. I am always amazed by the amount of time he spends with us. His staff are always pleasant, smiling, efficient and a source of reliable information . Excellent follow though.Hard to imagine a better clinic to take my kitties.

I’ve been taking my cats to Dr Lester for a few years now and I won’t trust any other clinic with any of my current or future cats. I’ve never had a bad experience with them. When it was time to send our Mainecoon over the rainbow bridge they were accommodating and understanding during a difficult time. Highly highly recommend.

This place is great. Dr. Lester is super knowledgeable and welcoming, also, this clinic has some of the most attentive and polite receptionists I've seen. Unfortunately, we moved and had to switch to a closer place, but I highly recommend this business.

We have been seeing Dr. Lester for my two senior cats since 2020. We switched to All About Cats based on an acquaintance's recommendation, because our vet clinic at the time was struggling to handle one of my cats who was in need of bloodwork. He still doesn't love vet visits, but the team at All About Cats are great at handling him even through his grumpiness :)In the last three years, both of my cats have developed serious health issues, so we are VERY frequently visiting and in touch with the clinic. Dr. Lester truly cares about the wellbeing of my cats, and I'm constantly surprised by how much time he dedicates to explaining all issues and talking me through possible options, always keeping the cat's quality of life as a priority. Not to mention checking in regularly when we have an ongoing issue (which is pretty much all the time, lately!).Also, a big shout out to the whole team, who are always responsive and patient even when I call a lot or send a lot of emails. Sharon and Kelsey have been spending a lot of time answering my questions recently. THANK YOU!

After going to a vet that was consistently giving me issues, I took both my kitties here and had a great experience getting a second opinion on both of them. The vet talked to me about a variety of my concerns for the entire duration of the appointment and the vet techs/front office were wonderful as well. So happy to have switched!

I brought my cat, Kayako, in for her annual exam and for further evaluation of her environmental allergies. She was seen by Dr. Stern, who was absolutely fabulous. She was extremely knowledgeable and informative. She listened to my concerns and input and she was able to create a treatment plan that I am very happy with. Kayako can be a bit spicy, but I was told she did very well for her exam. I found them as they were recommended by the American Association of Feline Practitioners as a cat friendly practice. It is the time of Covid right now. I found their curbside practice to be very smooth and efficient.

Another veterinarian recommended Dr. Lester to me because she thought he would be the best person to treat my cat's particular condition, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. My cat recently had a surgical procedure done for a non-life threatening condition. Rather than having her come for several appointments for testing and then the procedure, they boarded her overnight without charge, which I'm pretty sure was for my own convenience because she was stable. Every staff member I talked to and personable and friendly. Dr. Lester in particular was very communicative and willing to answer questions, and I can tell he cares because he educated both my partner and me separately about aftercare, since I had to stay at work while my partner went to get her. He called me to make sure I had all the information I needed. This was also a procedure in which we had a good idea of what would happen but wouldn't know the exact details until x-rays were taken the day of the procedure, and he communicated with both of us to keep us updated. There were no complications, and my kitty is happy and healthy. Furthermore, the cost for everything was below what was estimated. Looking over my invoice, I noticed there were a couple things they could have charged us for but didn't. Kathy at the front desk is great as well. I had quite a few questions regarding payment and paying remotely, and she never once made me feel like I was being an inconvenience. It seemed like she genuinely enjoyed being helpful. I sincerely doubt you would regret choosing this hospital.

My 13 years old boy became sick recently, for the first time. He couldn't be moved or transported safely. Dr. Lester is the only vet he's ever seen. I live across the street from All About Cats and have run into Kathy Lester a few times, and called her once during their Covid closure to ask a couple questions about my cat.I called the office and asked to speak to Kathy the morning it was clear my cat was in trouble. She wouldn't take my call. I was told she was there but "busy" after she was told I was calling. The receptionist referred me to a mobile vet, who thankfully helped very much. She sent a prescription to All About Cats. When I attempted to refill the medication, I got a call from Dr Lester's vet tech. Informing me that this would be the last medication they would provide. That they had only filled this as a courtesy because they were "concerned" about my cat and I would have to talk to his vet with any further questions. Arrogant and condescending. Clearly Dr Lester was no longer my cat's vet.I am learning to walk again, after medical issues and, after eye surgery, beginning to see well enough to know that my boy has tolose a few pounds. If he survives.I can now see well enough to let Kathy Lester know that I and my therapist watched her dodge and weave around me today and actually break into a light jog to distance yourself from me, while I was doing my walk therapy. Your "concern" for your former patient was so very clear. Not a quick "how is he?", just an urgent attempt to go by me. We were almost side by side and you looked directly at me.I'm guessing my therapist will also write a review. I can only encourage readers and clients to carefully consider the possibilities if your cat is not a consistent visitor to this clinic. In my case, no one would take my call for questions about his condition, which I would have of course been willing to pay for.Response to Kathy:That you seem suddenly open to discussing this further, is of no benefit to my sweet boy. I can only imagine that you and your staff simply shrug and say or think, 'We can't please everyone'. You and Dr Lester and your tech aren't auto mechanics who can pick and choose the easiest and most profitable jobs to accept. You make life and death decisions for those we love, when you are willing to be involved and the condition is very serious. In my case, none of you were willing. Or kind. Or even interested in doing what your profession involves and promises to those of us who trust you. Or, sadly in this case, trusted you previously.

This is a very caring and knowledgeable office. When I called to check out different vets for getting my cat fixed, this was the only place that listened to my concerns and spoke to me until all of my questions were answered. They gave me all the details and costs for the exams and surgery and the breakdown for vaccines. They were also the least expensive, so extra bonus.

I have always had nothing less than a fantastic experience with All About Cats. Their staff is friendly, helpful, and they provide excellent resources beyond their office walls. The staff takes the time to answer all my questions and make sure my cat is as comfortable as possible throughout the entire appointment. Service and response time is super quick. They give me honest guidance, and I trust their recommendations and advice that they aren't trying to just charge me as much as possible for unnecessary items. I would recommend them 100x over!

So we’ve taken all three of our cats here. Great and through service helping keep our meows healthy and happy. Definitely not the most inexpensive but that’s the norm for a great vet.I’ve always been able to get the help needed. Even after moving, they helped us stay on top of what needs to be done.

This is one of the best vet practices I have ever been to. I started going here in 2017 when I adopted a special needs kitten because I wanted a vet that knew cats very well. Every visit I had was thorough, concise and everyone was polite and kind. When the pandemic hit and we needed to get our other cats into a vet when nobody else was accepting new patients these wonderful folks graciously said they’d also see my other 2 cats in addition to our special little guy. During covid when they weren’t allowing people inside the visits over the phone were also thorough. I really, really like this place and would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone with a cat. I can’t imagine having a negative experience here, everyone is just so kind. They also communicate via email which I greatly appreciate because I tend to have phone anxiety.

My Yuki has a trustworthy vet now for life. She has been seen by other vets nearby, but they don't compare to the level of compassion and care this clinic offers. She was seen by both Dr. Stern and Dr. Echentile and I was so impressed by the care she got from both of them. They don't push for unnecessary exams and always give me the best possible options before starting diagnosis and treatments. You will not get the standard "all pets are the same way" response here. Additionally, the vets here are not opposed to raw diet for cats here (they may not push for it, but they are certainly not against it like other clinics are). After ingesting something a few weeks back, they were able to get her in the next day after her ER visit for follow-up. You may not get in the same day but if you have an emergency, they will do their best to accommodate you and not tell you to take your cat in to another clinic unless it's a true ER situation. Also - it's been WEEKS and they still follow-up by calling to see how she's doing (a total of 4 times!). AMAZING!

We've been coming here for over year since we first adopted our kitten. The staff is wonderful. So friendly and always eager to help or answer questions. Dr Lester is very good. His wife Kathy who runs the front is seriously the sweetest lady! The techs and assistants are all great too! I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a kitty doctor!

I love how they always call a few days before appointments to remind you that one is coming up! My cat is 14 years old and they treat her with so much care. They do not shy away from telling you exactly how much each treatment option is and also direct you to other resources, which is greatly appreciated. We've seen Dr. Stern, she's very gentle with our cat. She's has provided us with in depth and prompt information from test results (etc) which has been amazing in both furthering our understanding on pet health and helping us pick treatment options for Muffin's kidney disease. All of the staff there are lovely, highly recommend.

We've been bringing my cats here for several years now and are always impressed with the knowledge of the staff and the quality of care provided. We recently trusted them to perform surgery on one of them and the whole thing went very smoothly. They always call to check up on how they're doing after any kind of procedure or if they're experiencing any issues, and even offered a free check-up appointment in our case. They also encourage you to call them to address any questions/concerns. We've referred our friend to bring his cat (who unfortunately has myriad health issues) here and he was also extremely happy with his treatment. In short, these people are friendly, competent professionals who really care about the animals and aren't just trying to make a buck. If you have cats, this is the vet you want to go to.

This place really is great!! They took such great care of my cat who is experiencing urinary crystals. They gave her a comprehensive exam and some great advice/suggestions about how to proceed, while keeping my budget and preferences in mind. I will continue to bring my cat here for routine care; I really couldn’t ask for better!!

After hearing about this place through word of mouth, my partner and I have been bringing our two cats here for their vet needs. The staff is friendly and professional, and the practice is very proactive about following up on appointments and checking in with any concerns over time. They're great about breaking down costs plainly so you can see what you're paying for and why. And this is a full service place, too-- they'll do a lot of things, from blood work to dental surgery to yearly exams.Cannot say enough how glad we are to have them.

I love this vet and all the technicians that work there. They have always been very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had about my cats health, even when it wasn't during a scheduled appointment. Before covid I was very impressed with the appointment rooms where they allow your kitty to adjust before exams began.

We had had a poor experience with a vet in Redmond after we adopted our cat. I found All About Cats and went there to get an ear problem fixed. Super friendly staff, easy access, and they took great care of our cat, getting her all better. Serving just cats, it makes for a lot less stressful environment for pets and owners both.

It's a good sign when your vet gets down on the ground with your pet and does the same "talking to a cat" voice that you do, and obliges when your cat asks for a kiss on the head. These people are all cat people and it shows. I don't want to bring my cats anywhere else, and they really have their social distancing procedures down pat. I appreciate all their planning ahead and honesty with necessary procedures! Thanks All About Cats!

My 18 year old kitty is in great health, under the expert care of Dr Lester and his staff. He really cares about my cats and the fact that they are so healthy after so many years is a testament to his excellent skills. All About Cats is the only place I trust with my senior cats.

Dr. Lester is a veterinarian's veterinarian. If your cat has a condition other vets couldn't figure out, I'd highly recommend going to him. He is the most knowledgeable, experienced, and thorough vet I've ever known; a true expert. He cares about your cat's health as much as you do. He takes his time to answer your questions and offers all of the options for your cat; AND he doesn't try to steer you into the most expensive one. I left his office with absolute certainty, this is one of the best vets you could ever take your cat to.

Friendly personable staff. Exams are very thorough. Provided options for conservative treatment and aggressive treatment. Cat only vet. My kitty seemed less stressed than other vets we've seen. Convenient hours, free parking. Good location if you live in Kirkland, WA, a bit of a drive and in a small strip mall if you aren't local. Next door to The Whole Cat and Kaboodle, which is worth a visit too.

There isn't a better team or facility to take your bestie. Our senior tuxedo has been seen by Dr. Lester for more than six years, when he was at the Shoreline cats exclusive vet. He and the team worked around the clock to keep from losing her to hepatic libidosis, and we've had five more years with her which we are so thankful for.We were surprised to hear Dr. Lester had moved to a different facility, so when Saffron started up with strange symptoms again, we called them. They took us same day and again everything worked out really well. The facility is brand new and top notch, there's still a pet store next door, coming from Everett actually the drive was better than going to Shoreline, very nice easy location. And of course it's really the team of experts that make the biggest difference. We found out that the other location was just too busy for him to feel like he was getting enough time to care for each patient, which is why he started up All About Cats. The support team is also extremely helpful and caring. Our old girl is going to keep seeing him for as long as she can. If there were more than five stars, I'd give them more!

The best place for your furry friend! From the initial phone call to the time and care that Dr Lester provided, our experience was excellent. The environment is clean and quiet, perfect for a nervous kitty. From the very beginning, they were very straightforward about costs and options.

I called to get infomed on the cost, treatments and timing for my 7 week old kitten. The woman on the phone sounded like someone who was answering the phone for an actual person who worked there. She didn't know how old the cat should be to get spayed, the reason for a $70 consult cost for a particualar vaccine of which I didn't understand what that was...and hemmed and hawed to which is sounded like guesses on treatments. Completely unprofessional. I did NOT feel like this person even liked cats! I hung up in disgust. no thank you.
