Honest review. This place needs more attention, it's definitely underrated, the food was wayyy better then me and my family expected it would be (no offense) the wait was not long, and the food was hot. We all ordered sandwiches, a grilled cheese, two chicken sandwiches, and two French dip sandwiches. The fries that came with the French dip sandwiches were honestly soo good. And I loved the French dip sandwiches, they were so flavorful if you need a recommendation, I recommend getting one. The other sandwiches were not mine, but my sister said her grilled cheese was one of the best, and so cheesy. The Christmas decorations made me feel at home, but my favorite part is their ice cream!! It's amazingly cheap, definitely cheaper then most places, and such huge size, we ordered ours in cups so they weren't a mess and they were delicious. Definitely can't wait for summertime when it's hot out and all you need is a 2$ ice cream. The waitress was kind as well. Love and recommend this place, thank you!

What a great place to stop. The food was delicious, excellent flavor, hot and quick to our table. Our server was excellent, making jokes and recommendations and just as important he was having fun. I ordered the double meat and bacon burger with extra onions on an onion bun along with a large fry and i was full. Then our server suggested and ice cream cone and the medium size fed two of us just fine.This is a must stop when going through kettle falls even if its just for ice cream.

Looking for a hometown diner for a quick meal. Well this is it. Friendly staff and cozy home feeling atmosphere. The food can only be described as "comfort food", at little greasy, awesome thick home style shakes. Sit down and read the local paper or one of there off the shelf books. Take a load off, come in and relax.

Locals love this burger joint. If not for the wonderful personnel, I wouldn't bother. Wait staff are consistently cheerful, welcoming, attentive to specifics of each order, quick,and tidy. Truly, the only menu item I actually like are the french fried potatoes, and those are GOOD. Everyday they were fresh out of the fryer hot and crispy, just the way I like them. I'm adding stars for atmosphere. Now that the snow has melted, the lawn with picnic tables set in shade is very inviting. The large flower baskets hanging along the front of the diner are a pleasing touch, fresh and colorful.Parking: The parking lot fronts the highway, so there's plenty of room to maneuver along with easy on-off access. Also easy to gauge from the highway how many folks are ordering, a good way to measure your wait timeKid-friendliness: The dining areas indoors and out are casual and spaciousness enough to accommodate children without crowding other patrons. Of course, it's an easy All-American menu with something for everyone.

Been going to Sandy’s since the 80’s. Always been a good place to eat. Last few visits have been less favorable. Last visit a couple days ago the workers all seemed confused as to what they were doing, order was wrong, burgers were dry not made correctly, basket of fries was only about 1/3 full & the sandwich was squished flat and to top all that off, they have gotten ridiculously expensive. It was a great place in the past but I have gone there for the last time. Food & Service is terrible.

Waited...waited...waited almost 30 minutes. Waited some more. Then left -no food. Oranges juice isn't fresh, tasted weird! Another parson came in after we arrived and got served before us. Must have to be local, I guess? How can this restaurant can fix their problems? The waitress or people better watering the flowers than customers?!?!?!

CONSISTENTLY GETS OUR ORDERS WRONG. If your're ordering for more than 2 people I'd suggest going elswhere. Backyard BBQ in Kettle is WAY more consistent.Sandy's is always getting one of our orders wrong. Today it was no lettuce on an extra lettuce order, to which instead of fixing it, maybe putting the lettuce on like they were supposed to, they gave me A CUP OF LETTUCE. Last time it was forgetting an entire order AND forgetting the lettuce AGAIN.If you want consistency look elsewhere.

We love driving to Sandy's from Spokane for a fun day trip. The staff is always so very kind and just fun to interact with. We love getting their cones! They are always fun they have monster cones that are quiet entertaining to watch the kids eat to be honest 🤣 but their milkshakes are amazing! They have a pretty good size list for flavors and I myself prefer the strawberry or the cheesecake one. My sister on the other hand loves getting the fresh banana flavor. They also make the BEST deep friend cauliflower bites! They are so tasty and thats honestly the whole reason I go to see them is for those tasty things. They have a wide variety of food selections and also offer inside and outside dinning. We usually order and pop the back end of our car open and have lunch. I definitely recommend stopping by and trying them out!Parking: Big parking lotKid-friendliness: Big menu and lots of options...the have hot dogs if all else fails 🤣Wheelchair accessibility: Flat surface

Best banana split ever. My friends and family laughed at how big it was. BUT I enjoyed every bite. Not sure but I think it had two bananas kind of like a double wide split, with three Cherries on top. A happy dining experience. This is one of those off the beaten path little family food places that you are lucky to find and never disappointed. Steady stream of locals says a lot their happy return customers. If you're traveling through definitely well worth it to take the time to stop and enjoy. Don't mind the rustic appearances it's the food you came for anyway.
