One of the best places to buy fish and supplies for your fish tank. The space is very clean and organized. The animals look healthy and very well taken care of. This is very important because you don’t want to bring any desease into your tank. There is a huge variety of fish. They also sell plants for your tank. Prices are reasonable. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. They answer all your questions and give you tips on how to improve your aquarium, which species should and shouldn’t live together, how to keep your water clean and clear, etc. I recommend it for sure, the best in the area.

One of the best pet stores and BEST prices around. Don’t listen to the bad reviews at all. This is a pet store where pets live so ofc it may be chaotic if you can’t handle or don’t like it find another store! My favorite pet is Kenine the parrot who can say “Hi baby” he can bark, say his own name and say “peekaboo”. Him and my baby LOVE interacting when we visit. I’ve always found unbeatable prices here and an overwhelming supply unlike petco/petsmart charging $10+ for a singular item. (Pic of Kenine talking to us)

Definitely a tightly packed store. But if my local fish store down in Lakewood doesn’t have what I’m looking for I know I can drive up here and find it. I had a bladder snail infestation and they had hundreds of assassin snails for sale. While other places had been out of stock for months

The older gentleman there has horrible customer service! Don’t know if he is the owner but he talks down to customers. I normally get all my feeders here so it’s sad that I have to find a new local pet shop to support.

Their fresh waster fish quality has improved significantly since the last time I was there. It's sad to see that they got rid of their saltwater fish section tho. I must say spinner and KitKat are too cute!

Bird room was horrid, canaries kept in extremely small cages with nothing but food and water, parakeets fighting due to amount kept together in the small enclosure, macaw had a single toy and was clearly bored, many birds missing a lot of feathers, conure had a single corn cob with flies on it in its seed bowl. Fish section was great, should be an aquatics only store. Lots of animal neglect.Edit: new fish from their store killed off my whole tank.

This store is awesome! Very helpful and knowledgable staff. Fish that I haven't seen anywhere else and the ability for them to track down and order something they dont have. I come here every bit of my pet/fish needs and it's more of an experience than a shopping trip. I love it here.

We come from down South to this pet shop for live mice for our snake. It's convenient, bc on the way back from the North end, we can grab this meal once a week. Usually, we deal with the nice men inside. We recommend their service, rather than the woman with dark hair and glasses. She really hates her job, and we try to avoid her as much as possible. Her customer service skills aren't the best, even her "have a nice day" makes it seem like she'd rather be somewhere else. We see her often, but try not to communicate with her anymore after the first couple of times going in, due to her being snarky and uncaring.And if you are getting a mouse for a reptile, I advise you to ask anyone, but her. She's given us the smallest mice and we have to go in a second time during the week to grab another small mouse for our snake. She won't show you the size or ask what size you need, she will just grab the smallest one and put it in a box.All-in-all, I do recommend their business, except this one person's. Everyone else has exceptional customer service, if they are not too busy.

This place would be amazing if they closed for a month, cleared out everything, cleaned the place, repainted walls and fixtures, and put it all back in an organized way that utilized the space correctly. Then kept it clean. Right now it looks and feels like a hoarders basement with disease all around.

Unorganized and unfriendly staff. Definitely avoid if you can, so many other tropical fish stores to choose from. Walked in, no one greeted me, and didn't ask if they could help. When I asked someone for help, the person was so unfriendly, never smiled even once. Won't be going back.

Great selection from fish to reptilian creatures and birds. Then products for all the different types is wonderful as well. Employees are so helpful and ready to answer any questions you may have... came in to see what the fish selection was like as I just got a tank and am looking to fill it up just as soon as the water is right. They had everything I was looking for and then some. Looking forward to coming back and picking up all the new friends for my tank.

I like this place. They have a good variety of fish which are healthy. It has that Mom and Pop feel to it which is a lot more comfortable than other pet stores. They had a very helpful staff. I got these two loaches which were exactly what I was looking for. And they were even nice enough to give me a calendar of pets which was super cute! Definitely will shop here again they have interesting animals and fish.

A wonderful place to purchase feeders, fish, birds and reptiles. They are always stocked up with every animal need, their prices are actually better than Petco or PetSmart. My snakes always eat Midway's rodents and worms but won't touch feeders from Petco or PetSmart so I know they have healthier feeders. This I the only place I go to purchase my animal needs. I definitely recommend supporting this phenomenal shop!

I feel super conflicted about this store. It definitely has the potential to be a great pet store, however, the smell when you walk in is overwhelming and it’s kept like someone’s hobby filled basement or warehouse. They have so much room but so much space is just filled with random stuff like boxes, bikes, etc. The bunnies are not kept in the best condition but they totally have the space, if they cleaned up, to have a open cage set up with a litter box which would make them much happier and I’m sure would help with the stench. They also have a flower horn fish in a tank that looks anywhere from 10-20 gals, I’ve never seen a fish that large in anything smaller than a 55 gallon. I think if they cleaned up all the random garbage and invested into some proper care and education this pet store would be awesome.

They have a bit of everything for many domestic pets. Seems to be more focused on fish and birds. It's not a chain big box store. The place is a bit old and dated looking but the service is very solid and friendly.

I love this place so so much it's a little cramped but it's a great pet store large Verity of fish birds and mammals the only complaint I have is the workers one of them are really nice and understanding but the other 3 that I've seen weren't I've gotten 5 fish from them it's been a year or two and they are all doing great has all the supplies you will need and the prices are amazing. Over all a great place

Been coming here regularly for a couple years now for aquarium & terrarium needs and mice for my reptiles. Wonderful small business, always have a much better experience here than at the regular chains. The employees are much more knowledgeable and give good advice on fish care especially. Always end up spending more time than I expect to just looking at their wide variety of fish and aquatic plants :)

This is definitely one of the grossest pet shops I've ever been in, and I've actually worked in a different pet shop for a long time in the past. It was nothing like this place, and we offered everything, too. But this is the only place in south King County I can get live rats to feed my snake. I've been coming to this pet shop for 20 years now.

This store needs to either be shut down or have MAJOR Improvements. I mean absolutely Major. This was the first time I had ever been to this pet store, and from the moment I walked in, I was in complete disgust. It was SO muggy, smelt like an actual litter box throughout the entire store. As soon as you walk in and look to the left, they keep caged animals on the floor, in really odd places. You walk into the Bird area, and I wanted to save every single one. They have 20+ parakeets in one singular cage and they were flying into eachother the entire time, and missing tons of feathers. The bigger birds had very few toys and it was obvious all they're cages needed a good cleaning. I didn't think it could get any worse, but as I continued throughout the store and got to the back, (which in my opinion was stocked for like a very disorganized warehouse, than a pet store) boxes absolutely everywhere, can't even walk around.. you get to the fish ranks and wow. Yeah they have "cool" fish, but again, every single tank looked like it needed a cleaning & there was mold/algae growing on the toys they put in the tank. We stared at the "jelly fish" for a minute only to realize it was covered it green algae and they weren't real jellyfish. You could tell they were starving. Anytime we ran our finger on the tank, they would follow. Spider cobs EVERYWHERE on the outside of the tanks. Every single one. Almost every tank didn't have a proper lid, anything can be thrown into their tanks unknowingly. They had fish tanks on the floor, fish tanks stacked up on HIGH shelves that made no sense for them to even be able to properly care for the ones above, or even be bought. Walked into the next room, again.. more Rodents/animals in cages kept on the floor as you walked around for supplies. Make it make sense please. I was so blown away be all the health hazards and neglect. I can't even believe this place actually can be in business, let alone exist at all. EVERY single animal here needs to be rescued.

I love this place and have for a while. They're really working on cleaning things up in the store. Staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have a large selection and good prices. I'm sad to say though that when I brought home live plants for my aquarium I have a large outbreak of scuds, flatworms and hydra that I'm now combatting. Only in the tank with new plants. I just don't want anyone else to have to worry about the same thing. I feel it's partially my fault as I didn't quarantine and treat the plants before planting them but with potentially dire consequences for my tank inhabitants I couldn't just keep it to myself.

i am never the type of person to leave reviews but this place made me so depressed walking into. they don't clean at all this place is disgusting, the floors look like they haven't been touched in years, the birds are all extremely crammed I'm the tiny caged the bird room was especially horrible. all of the birds looked depressed and stressed out. the feathers arrived all plucked and ruffled from depression and stress. the bird room looks like the cages are never cleaned out or even touched. it truly made my heart hurt. the fish tanks are disgustingdisgusting and some even had moldy fish in it which tells you they never even touch those. some tanks you could barely even see through and filled with several dead fish. the ONLY reason I'd a want to buy anything from this place would be to save it from this horrible disgusting place that shouldn't even be open. someone save these poor animals.
