I've been shopping at this location for 14 years. I've seen a number of good people come and go. Some of the employees are genuinely helpful. And some not so much. Fortunately, Nancy is still there. She's good, honest people. If you have questions. She's got answers.

I love petsmart when it comes to toys, treats, collars, and tags. We found some costumes already for Halloween and got our girl a sushi costume. She's so cute with it. It's fun to bring our dogs when we know it'll be slow there and seeing others animals are always fun too. Staff are always friendly as well.

This was definitely one of the nicest PetSmart locations that I've been to (and I've been to quite a few in CA, OR, and WA). Their fish section was very large and had an awesome selection. I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed any help. They answered all of my questions and helped me pick out a new tank. They were so kind, informative, and helpful. I think one was the manager (but I'm not sure) and the other was a cashier. I came in pretty sad that my tank leaked when I filled it up, but left happy and with a bigger/nicer tank and just paid the difference. I was in and out so quickly!They also have same day delivery via doordash, which I really loved using originally because it's super convenient since I hate leaving the house these days. I'm glad I actually went in today though and I can't wait to go back soon to stick up on pet supplies.

Took our puppy for a trim around his eyes, a nail trim & bath. Picked him up 3 hours later to the hair on his head shaved off, when she told me they wouldn’t use clippers because it would scare him since he’s still a puppy. Also was shedding so much, when he doesn’t shed & so I came home & bathed him & he smelled like dog & bathtub was full of dirt. I’m sure they didn’t even bathe him. He came back home super scared & sad. Won’t be taking him there again.

My husband and I went in tonight to get a pick up. We were going to get our daughter some Black Moors and a plecostomus. Jeremy came and asked if we needed help. We told him what we wanted to buy. He asked what size tank we had. We told him about our pick up and everything we ha were going to get. He advised us on it being too small.He guided us step by step in the proper size tank, the correct set up we needed as well as additional information on taking care of the fish. We thoroughly appreciate the time he took to ensure we had everything we needed! He advised us to wait until the tank was properly set up before adding fish.Jeremy was beyond helpful, knowledgeable and understood everything about what he was selling to us!We will be back Saturday with our daughter to get her fish! Thank you again so much for all your advice! It’s rare to find someone who cares and enjoys their job like you do😊

It's ok. Small space. Not a lot of stuff for your pets. Seems they focus more on aquariums than any other pet supplies for other pets. I still enjoy bringing my kids here though, gets us out of the house for a bit & chance to see other animals while picking up supplies for my dog. Customer service has always been excellent & super helpful with your needs.

Their grooming services were wonderful, we picked up our 1 year old dog from the grooming and my wife went to pick up and look around, she was back by the pet adoption area and my dog barked once when she saw my wife, the volunteers at pet overpopulation told me I would have to remove my dog and when I argued the manager seemed unwilling to do or say anything, if they want to let the little volunteers run off paying customers then fine by me. I will never enter or order from pet smart again.

I don’t trust this adoption place. I was there last week looking for a kitten and they showed me one that they would have this week that was getting spayed on Tuesday. I told her I’d be back on Saturday to get her. When I came back this morning, I was told that she was sold to somebody that was so far away from here from to get her. I was specific when I talk to them last week about that I wanted her, but I couldn’t have her right now because she’s being stayed and would be available on Saturday. So if you picked out a kitten want ahead of time beware it might not be there when you get back

4-3-24 … bought cat food and peanuts, bill should of been 86.84. Asked by cashier 729530 if I wanted to make a donation. I said no. Paid with credit card, and was charged an extra 20 00 .. for donation.. shame on you guys for taking advantage of senior citizens. In future will hold up line to check and recheck all receipts. Again SHAME ON YOU …..

Love Petsmart! The staff members are knowledgeable about anything that you may need to know about for your pets. They know their products and are eager to help. I love that I can bring my fur baby in the store with me. He loves seeing the other pets and the staff members. Love Petsmart.

This is my favorite pet store in Kennewick. They always have what we need and I take my small Shih Tzu here for grooming as well. They have a great variety of foods for all my pets, small dog, large dog and my cat. Great, clean pet store!

The staff is always friendly and helpful. We go here to get our dog food. We buy Pet Smarts expensive brand because we believe it's better for our dog. The price on dog food keeps going up year after year and it's gotten so expensive. $70 for a 30lb bag but our old dog deserves it. PetSmart is really taking advantage of this fake inflation.

Very nice employees, got my beardie here(Paco) and he had some problems with stuck shed on his tail the day we went in to get him they offered to reserve him and they would take him to an expensive vet to get checked out( we didn’t have to pay extra for it) we got him a few days later. Several employees sent him off and he’s such a great pet! Everyone loves him and he’s so sociable!

I used to like em but now I dislike em. The first thing yall say when I call is "we'll do anything for the animals." Liers, how about taking the fishes that I bought from you because I don't want to throw them away in some random river or pound. Causing further environmental damage. You guys don't stand for what you guys say. And clearly, you are saying that since you bought the animal and the 60 days are up. That you guys don't want nothing to do with them. That's what I got from the conversation with the union gap store representative and the corporate number that I called. By the way, ty for your rude employee at corporate she something special, I tell you. You guys are wrong for that. Talking about we can't guarantee the next customer that bought the fishes a safe fishes . How about adopting them out. Instead of trying to make every cent, you can. Since you guys supposedly love the animals. I WILL GO TO PETCO INSTEAD SINCE THEY WILL DO ANYTHING FOR THE FISHES UNLIKE PETSMART. PETSMART? MORE PETPEOPLEJERKS JERKS! PetSmart used to be a friendly place to bring your dogs to get used to smells, sounds, and to desensitize them to the world around them. After being approached twice asking if "we are training" and if so, all training or dog company related merchandise must be hidden while inside their store. They had nobody training, an empty store and decided to come take their power trip egos out on my client and I. We weren't doing training, but definitely were there after our session to purchase some specific toys, collars, a leash, and food/dog bed. Instead we went to Paws Pet Emporium and got greeted instantly and encouraged to stay as long as we wanted as well as offered us a place to put my business cards on their bulletin board. I will never return to PetSmart again. All my clients will be switching their grooming, retail purchases, food purchases and other services to local companies instead of PetSmart.

Jana was phenomenal with my Maltese! So knowledgeable, thorough and kind! My dog has never left a grooming appointment so happy! When he has gone to different establishments he is paranoid and skittish for weeks. It’s almost like he is traumatized. But with Jana he came home happy and smiling and as if nothing happened! So grateful to have found her! I love Jana’s straight to the point personality. She doesn’t beat around the bush and I respect that! We will Definitely be back!

I am writing to make you aware of a situation that happened last night at your Petsmart store located 6807 W Canal Dr, Kennewick, WA 99336. I precede this by letting you know up to this point how much I have enjoyed visiting your store and purchasing pets and supplies from it. I am the father of 4 children, 8, 6, 4, and 2 years old and we often travel to your stores to look at the animals, buy fish, and fish supplies. One of your competitors built a facility less than 4 minutes from my home this last year but I still found myself traveling to another city for no other reason than being a loyal customer and wanting to purchase from this location.Last night I took my 4 children so that my oldest could get a tiger Oscar she has wanted for nearly a year. We have gone on multiple occasions looking at them waiting for her to find the perfect one which we found last night. She sat on the floor watching it for nearly 10 minutes waiting for a representative to come and assist us so she didn’t lose track of which one she really wanted. We went as far as taking a picture of it to send to her mother to show her my daughters’ new best friend. When an assistant came we showed her which fist we wanted to purchase, upon which she asked the size of our fish tank. I informed her we currently have a 30-gallon tank to which she responded she cannot sell it to us if it is not 40 gallons or bigger. Politely, I informed her I would be happy to upgrade the tank as the fish grows but that at this time, we wish to purchase this specific tiger Oscar as my daughter has been looking for it for some time. Your employee told me she will not sell it to us because they will only sell based on the current tank size.I want to say I know your employee was only following what she was told. I also want to add that I love pets and animals and fish and that is specifically why I came to your store as I know you hold similar values. The hard truth is my daughter did not just lose the chance to purchase a fish that night, she lost a friend she had been searching for some time now. Unfortunately, I cannot support a company whose policies are so stringent as to deny a child the joy of a pet when after being told the tank would be upgraded in due time.I spent 2 hours last night trying to dry my daughter’s tears. Tears brought about because of a policy not listed anywhere in your store and not clearly marked on your tanks for the consumer. Additionally, those tears came from a lack of understanding and flexibility from a consumer asking to do nothing more or less than your own company does by temporarily placing a fish in a 30-gallon tank. Explain to me if you will how I as a father am supposed to console my child and explain to her we cannot purchase a fish temporarily putting it in a 30 gallon tank, when at your store you have 7-8 of the same fish in one much smaller “temporarily” until sold. I ask for that explanation because that is what my daughter asked me.Last night you lost over $50.00 in revenue due to upgrading supplies and that fish purchase. You also lost a future sale of a larger tank to a customer. More importantly, you lost all the future sales of fish and fish supplies for 4 children who have a life ahead of them of future purchases. Added to that is the fact that our fish tank is the center of our home. Going forward every time my children’s friends come to play, or neighbors come to visit, the conversation around that tank will be centered on this incident.I am writing you because I am a business manager. Seeing the potential thousands of dollars in lost sales and lost customer loyalty I feel it only right to inform you of the situation. Should this have happened in my business I would have wanted to know so I could make things right in my company.
