Went out of my way to get a bag of science diet at a reasonable price for 7 lbs they quoted it wrong the price was for a 3 lb bag but I only had to pay 31.82 worked out great.my cats are all happy and my neighbors too

I call your store twice . First time no answer, you are open. Second time phone rang 2 and a half before answer machine answers. Not looking too promising and professional.This is my first time calling and my cat has been hand raised by me. I only want the best care for her. I hope that you can prove better service if and when my call is returned.

They always have a pretty good variety of things for just about every animal and they were great years ago when we had turtles we needed to find a home for..they took them and included them into their tank and gave thwm a good home!They also have a great variety of fish and birds and they also have ferrets and chinchillas!!!Great customer service and the dogs already love their toys!

The store associates were okay. My biggest complaint is that there was a Very small hard shell cat carrier (dimensions of 11.5"wide x17.91"long x12"high) sitting on top of their bird cage. Inside this very small cat carrier were 5 ferrets! Yes I said 5! They were crawling all over on top of each other. There wasn't room for them and this is not an appropriate place for them. Its absolutely DISGUSTING that this is how you treat your animals! I will Never go back to that store again because of this. If my husband hadn't already purchased our fish and walked out front door I would have left. Treat your animals better PETCO!

i went in today to buy a light fixture for my green tree frog and i am absolutely horrified with these animals living conditions. these poor animals are in such small enclosures that they’re crawling all over each other. i looked at the roaches because that’s what my frog eats and almost every single one was dead. there was a carrier full of mice and it was so full that there was 3 stacks of mice just crawling on each other like levels of a house. there was 5 leopard geckos in one tank that seemed to be maybe 10 gallons and they only had one hide and no substrate. i looked at the fish and none of their alien bettas were moving. they all looked dead. i even tapped the tiny plastic container they’re housed in to see if they would move and they didn’t. they also house three different kinds of frogs in one tiny enclosure, when you’re not even supposed to mix breeds, especially in an enclosure that tiny. i am appalled and feel awful for these poor animals. they NEED better living conditions. you would think for a pet store they would know how to properly care for these animals, but they absolutely do not. there needs to be a serious change.

Waited by the register for over 20 minutes to be helped. I finally asked an employee on his phone if someone could check me out. He didn't even put his phone away to ring me up, didn't ask if I needed help with the heavy bags of kitty litter and cat food and basically treated me like I was a nuisance for being in the store to interrupt his phone time.

Worse customer experience. I was running late to my grooming appointment called to let them know and they said if I showed up at 1pm they would still take her in. I arrived exactly at 1pm they did a whole intake form accepted her. Once I left and arrived at work they called and said they were unable to accept her.

Bought a Male Delta tail Betta Fish. They sell both male and female Bettas. Each Betta fish stays in their own container. Customer service was top notch! Their employees are very knowledgeable. It was explained to me that Bettas live alone for less stress, two males will fight, they live about 5 years if you get a baby. They do sell babies. Some babies had died but not sure if it's because some kid shook them since they are in reach of small and young children. If you buy a bigger Betta fish it'll probably live 2-3 years. They do have a return for fish but you must bring the fish back within 30 days and without water. You also need to bring a separate container with a sample of your water. They test everything right there. There are directions on the container. Don't put in direct sunlight. They live longer if the temperature of house and water is 70-75. They like blood worms for snacks. Tap water is hard on them and they live longer if you buy a gallon spring water to change their water. Be careful not to let them flip or roll too much when changing their water. Just read and follow all directions on items your purchase for your fish. Not all items pictured were purchased at Petco.

I dont go here often. But when I do, they have what I need. The young lady that helped us didnt have the answer, but went off to get me an answer. I like that.I have a TOAD living in my yard and sometimes I see him out hunting in the night. The bug guys came and sprayed for spiders and other critters trying to get in as the nights get cooler. So I felt bad for Mr. Toad since we killed off all his prey. So I got him some dried crickets to help fatten him up for winter.We'll see if he likes them.

The manager Chris and his team have always given us excellent customer service at this location. We appreciate all of their help In troubleshooting and lack of judgment when we have fish casualties. It is a bit smaller store and has had to close early a few times due to lack of staff or I'd give it 5 stars. We'll be back and are glad to have this location here.

I like that they have a kind of treat bar for puppies, everything was pretty easy to find. I like that Petco (over petsmart) has medical stuff to treat pets at home or strengthen their immune systems. I, personally, and a fish person and loved that this was upfront and center. Their betta selection is incredible as far as breeds go. They weren't all the healthiest fish, but they've been in cups for a while. My only beef in all of that is how their kept before purchase as well as the small tanks and bowls displayed nearby as if those are supposed to be a fitting home for these fish.

Bought four Cory Cats from them so my Betta can have some company. So far it is going well with them all in the tank together. It has got my Betta acting more lively than he was acting alone. No nipping or aggression being displayed so far. Hopefully soon I can upgrade to a 20 gallon or 30 gallon tank because I would love a larger tank with some other types of fish to the group...

This is the best Petco in TC. The manager, Michael, is knowledgable, caring and knows how to work with customers. He went above and beyond to assist me with my product issues and I couldn’t be more happy. His crew was also pleasant and helpful. I’ll be coming here in the future.
